Fantastic food and service! Huge upgrade from the previous restaurant in that space. The beer selection is good, great happy hour deals and good selection of meals available. We’ll be back!

Finally stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and loved it. Service was excellent from Donna with great suggestions for food and drinks. Started with one of the BEST margaritas I’ve had in a long time and a very tasty bruschetta. Followed up with chimichurri burger cooked perfectly. The thick cut skin on seasoned fries were delicious and while it may not seem like much, I noticed the ketchup was house made and it made a big difference! No syrupy sweetness like Heinz that doesn’t even taste like tomatoes. Finished with the house made cookies and cream ice cream and flourless chocolate cake, decadent! Also feel the need to mention the ambiance is really fantastic. Beautiful city views, open dining area with patio seating, and funky little touches like upside down lamps as lighting fixtures. Can’t wait to return!

Food was great!!! The poor service ruined it, and the manager didn’t seem to care when we said something. We will not return and tell all are friends not to waste their money, even thoug the food was great.

Disappointed with the service. We had made a reservation for our Sunday night dinner. However, when we walked in, we were told«Oh, I guess you could sit at this table by the door. If you don’t like that you can sit at the high tables by the bar.» After we picked the low table by the door, we sat for about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged or even given menus. Several people came by to ask us about our drink order, but then no one came by for our actual order for quite a while. The food was pretty good but bad service can really ruin a dining experience.

From the moment you enter the restaurant you know you made the right decision coming to Harvest on the River! The hostess is always nice, the meals are great and the wait staff are incredible! We have enjoyed many meals at the bar and on the patio! Food is always fresh and the daily specials are interesting and made from top quality ingredients! Service is great and restaurant is always clean and welcoming. So happy we have this great restaurant in the Foothills!

The five of us loved the food, especially the bruschetta appetizer and pulled pork sandwich. The staff was gracious and attentive and smoothly transferred our party to a different table when we asked if we could provide our wheelchair bound mother with a view. We will return and are anxious to try the dinner specialties!

The restaurant is located at Swan and River where the Skybox restaurant used to be(it is on the second level). I went with a group of friends at 4:00 which was in time for their sunset menu that is offered from 4 – 5:30. The sunset menu is reasonably priced at $ 12.00 for meals with a choice between the burger brew(burger, parsley fries and choice of beer, wine or well drink), lasagna, braised short rib with mashed potatoes and vegetable, and the sweet potato gnocchi which is what I had. The gnocchi came in a white wind sauce with vegetables and capers and had a good taste. The vegetables were cooked but not overcooked. The gnocchi was ok but the sauce made it. Others in my group had burgers or the short rib, both of which looked good and those that had them, liked them, especially the fries that came with the burger. The décor is nice and in better weather or if you like to eat outside with heaters, you can enjoy overlooking the patio area. While it wasn’t very crowded when we were there, it started to fill up closer to 6 pm.

I came here for lunch because I like the concept of farm to table. Their menu sounded absolutely delicious, I ended up getting the smoked pork tenderloin tacos and my husband ordered the braised short rib sandwich. The smoked pork tacos had caramelized onions, avocado cream and the queso fresco. These were all very good in the taco, but the chipotle aioli really overpowered the whole taco and it definitely had a little kick to it. After I was done, I felt like I smelled of chipotle. It was a little repulsive. My husbands sandwich normally comes with a horseradish cheese but since he’s not a big fan of horseradish he got a different cheese on it instead. The braised short rib was really delicious and tender. The problem was, was that his sandwich was luke warm when it was served and since he was expecting a a hot one, this turned him off. The restaurant has fun décor and I love it when restaurants have balcony seating outdoor. Overall, I give the food a 3 and the atmosphere a 5.

Came to lunch here with 8 ladies. This was going to be a farewell lunch for our dear friend who is moving out of state. Reading the reviews I was looking forward to having some really good food. The menu was quite extensive for lunch with lots of good sounding dishes. All sorts of interesting salads like smoked salmon cobb, watermelon and feta salad, Poached root veggie salad, Burgers like rosemary chicken burgers, brandy burger and several others. Lots of sandwiches like Grilled Cobb Cheese, Smoked Salmon Grilled Cheese. Also Greek tacos, fish tacos. With the sandwiches you can get one side order like sweet potato fries, and soup of the day. One of the ladies may have misheard the server explaining that you only get one side. If you order the soup it was $ 1.00 extra. Something like that. The server in a very condescending way explained to her how the ordering worked. She was told that if you read the menu you can figure out how the pricing worked. I don’t think that was necessary. In my day, the customer is always right. Anyhow, aside from that. We will move on to the food. My gyro taco were 3 tiny tiny gyros with about ½ «of gyro meat on each little piece of pita bread. A small salad with a lovely tsaziki sauce. That was good. For $ 9.00 it was very small. It didn’t fill an iota of my starving stomach. Come on now. Another gal ordered the chicken burger with rosemary. She could not eat it. I tasted it and have to agree. It was like a watery mush. Then I tasted the Curry Chicken salad and that had an overpowering flavor of what I believe to be cinnamon. It was like strings of chicken instead of chunks. I guess it was passable. I was very disappointed with the lunch. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes. Most of the past reviews were very good. Not sure if I want to try it again.

We went to dinner at Harvest the other night for the first time! I’ve always wanted to check out the original location out in Oro Valley but it IS quite a drive. Pleased to have a new location so close by, we had no choice but to give it a try. It was a Monday night so we didnt bother making reservations but we probably should have… the place was packed! In just our first few minutes we could see why. I am recovering from an ankle surgery so I was on crutches and the woman at the hostess stand was so kind she made sure to guide us to one of the few open tables(a four top even though it was just the two of us to provide me w. extra room to accommodate my bulky ankle boot). She also took my crutches and stowed them for me so I didn’t have to struggle w them. We were already impressed and we hadnt even sat! Our waiter came and brought us bread which was warm and delicious. It was accompanied by a soft cherry butter that was super tasty. It had just a hint of cherry flavor that was just enough to perfectly complement the sourdough bread. Im not much of a bread person but we had a second basket! We ordered our food and a though it took a little while to come out it didnt matter cuz we were in such good spirits due to the wonderful bread and the fantastic service. My girlfriend had a pork dish that may have been one of the best pork entees I’ve ever tasted. It was served with angel hair, some warmed mozzarella, sundried AND slices of green tomatoes with a drizzle of what seemed to be sort sort of wine reduction. Absolutely stellar! I would order it next time we visit except I’m certain she’ll be getting it again! At the end of our meal the waiter noticed that I hadn’t finished my food so he asked if there was a problem. I answered that my pasta just wasn’t quite what I’d expected(though very flavorful) and I let him know that I didnt have any complaint. He wasn’t having it! He asked me what kind of complementary desert I’d like!!! Being that I’m not really a dessert person, I politely declined. Again, he wasn’t letting us out of there with out some ice cream! Were we ever hally he was so insistent! He brought us some salted caramel ice cream that was out of this freakin world!!! It turns out they make several flavors each day and this particular selction was simply phenomenal! Soon after, the Owner, Lisa came to our table to ask how our dinner went and we chatted witht her for a good while. She was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and just as pleasant as they come. We just can’t wait to return! LOVEDIT!!!

I recently dined here with my husband last night after I’ve been wanting to try out Harvest ever since I heard they opened. When we arrived, they were slightly busy since it was a Friday night, as well as their happy hour beginning at 8pm. I can honestly say that the happy hour is DEFINITELY worth it. The drinks are the major plus when coming to this place, I would say the margaritas are my favorite. The décor is also beautiful on the inside, as it provides a relaxing ambience to the atmosphere. We started off with Bruschetta as our opener, which was an absolute delight. There were so many flavors combined together that just made it PERFECT, in my opinion. It is definitely an opener that I would suggest to all first time diners. Also, it is only $ 6 during happy hour, so you’re getting a deal for what you get. As for our entrees, I would have to say they were«so-so», especially for the price you’re paying. The presentation was great, as well as the proportions, but I feel they were lacking seasoning for they were a little on the bland side. My husband ordered the pan-seared duck, which was good, but not great. In my opinion, it could have been more flavorful. As for my entrée, I ordered the vegan sweet potato gnocchi(I also added chicken & parmesan to it, since I’m not vegan). This dish also came with a good proportion, but was also on the bland side. For our dessert, we ordered the triple chocolate cake, and OMG this is to DIE for! We didn’t want to get too stuffed, so we didn’t make it an «a la mode»(which I slightly regret now), but it was delicious as is. It is an absolute MUSTTRY. Overall, if I could, I would rate this review with 3.5 stars, just because I feel as if they still need time to tweak the menu/recipes a slight bit more and also straighten up their staff slightly(we couldn’t even find our waitress a few times and sat with empty drinks). They are a new restaurant, so I definitely would not hold it against them for now. I would still recommend this spot to everyone to try. I think it would be the best place to swing by during lunch to stop for a couple drinks and snack on openers for sure. As for myself, I’ll give them some time until I come back for their entrees, but I will definitely be back for their drinks and their openers/desserts.

I’m torn on this place. Love the décor and location. Wine list was nice. Food was interesting combination of flavors and fun choices. my ahi tuna salad was really good — perfect amount of dressing and the ahi was cooked perfectly. There was plenty for lunch the next day. The waitstaff seemed less than interested in helping. There was an odd vibe in the place. And the owner was on the cordless phone walking around the dining room zapping flies with one of those electric fly swatters that looks like a tennis racket. you could hear the zapping across the entire dining room. Super off putting. So I’m giving low stars because no matter how much I enjoyed the food I couldn’t get over the fly swatting and the odd vibe from the staff.

Things are only looking up for the new restaurant. I came here a few weeks a go for their opening week and I honestly like everything about it. The staff was friendly, caring, and very nice. The environment was very clean, quiet, and modern. You have the choice to sit inside and outside on the balcony. The food was delicious! Not the biggest menu, but has a good variety. It included salads, bruschetta, sandwiches, and tacos. Me and my friend shared the salmon salad and short rib sandwich. Both comes with a generous helping of protein. Two hungry adults couldn’t finish the two entrees for lunch. For the amount of food they give you, the slightly higher price was worth it! I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them. Went to harvest for happy hour! It was amazing all of the appetizers are on special during this time. We got the hummus, the charcuterie plate and the bruschetta! The charcuterie plate was my favorite the olive tapenade was EVERYTHING. All the food is super fresh and flavorful! I can wait to go back to try some of the entrees! Also our server was amazing

Well this place is AMAZING! Our waitress and her trainee were absolutely wonderful and so was the food! As was the patio atmosphere with a view! My hubby and I cannot wait to return and try everything. The caprese salad was perfect and the short rib nachos were different than what we expected but out of this world with the homemade chips!

I am would give a one star but they just opened and hopefully they are still working out the kinks and things will change. Pros. Nice pleasent enviroment and a nice view. The smoked salmon appetizer board was good. Cons. My wifes gnocchi was so bad she couldn’t even eat more than a couple bites. I ordered the rellano burger with the homemade fries. I must say the fries tasted like they were under a heat lamp for the last hour and my burger was just okay. Nothing to write home about. The service was sub par mostly because the poor girl had three four tops and a 8 top at the same time. She did the best she could but management should not have sat her so many tables at once. So in short we will not be returning to harvest and hopefully they get better or I can’t see it lasting to long there.

All due respect to Harvest, I would like to take a moment to mourn the loss of the previous restaurant here, Skybox. It was one of our go to places and I am saddened by it’s demise. While I was there I looked around and, have to say, I like what they’ve done with the place. They took out the high tables in the bar area and it now has more of the feel of a restaurant than a bar and grill. They do still have a nice bar and happy hour during the week. Not sure what the happy hour specials are though. Before we went, I looked at the menu on their website so I’d have some idea what to expect. Now, that menu was for their Oro Valley location, but most of what was on that menu did not appear on the menus handed to us… understandable. I looked at the website menu again before I wrote this and what we had was not there either. Either the menu changes a lot, which could be the case because I know their approach is using fresh, available ingredients, or their menu is still just unsettled. What we had: I was torn between the duck P, B & J which promised duck, with a housemate jam and peanut butter aioli and the smoked salmon grilled cheese. I asked the server which she recommended, which turned out to be the smoked salmon grilled cheese. For my side, I got the salad. I thought I would be asked for my dressing choice, but wasn’t. More on this in shortly… My wife opts for the Cobb grilled cheese, with Cobb Salad ingredients in a grilled cheese. I thought it would have turkey, but she said it didn’t, but the hard boiled egg was a surprise. For her side, she gets the cumin parsley fries. We both really enjoyed our sandwiches and sides. Both sandwiches were grilled perfectly, not greasy and the combination of ingredients came together The dressing on my salad was very good. I overheard another server ask a customer, «Is the lemon agave dressing on the salad OK?», so I guess that’s what I got. I snuck some of my wife’s fries after she was done and pushed her plate away. There was some flavor to the side of ketchup that neither of us could put our finger on. Overall, their farm to table approach to their menu and thoughtfulness that goes into the food will be a more than worthy replacement for my dearly departed Skybox.

Harvest NW was great when previously owned! This location is decorated nicely. The gnocchi i ordered was awful! Pasta was almost non existant there were maybe 8 of the smallest gnocchi ive ever seen! The plate was drowned by big slice of zucchini and carrot that were under cooked(15.50) plus 1.50 plate split fee! The two watermelon and feta salad we had were dry and had hardly any watermelon or feta on it? The two deserts we had were just ok crust seems store bought. Need to work on quality and ratio of portions big time! UPDATE Been there 3 or 4 times for lunch I liked lunch a lot! good value and the best curry chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries!
