I was driving cross country late summer when I made a gas stop in Tucson, AZ. Searching for a nearby eatery, I came across this place. All I can say is that they have some of the best hot dogs I have tried! The Super Chipillon is highly recommended: flavorful, hearty and well-priced! Should you find yourself in Tucson, do not miss this opportunity for excellent dogs!

Don’t fear the trucks. Some of the best food ever, comes from them. It has to be good for them to stay in business and this place will be around for a long time. Their presentation is awesome and their attitude is pleasant and fun. The menu is small, but who cares when the food is as good as it is here.

Best place for Sonoran hot dogs in Tucson. Super cheap too! Never disappoints. Not in the best part of town but hands down the best! And super inexpensive too. Always has great drink options and hot dog toppings

Most fire, only takes cash but the hot dog is made with perfection. They make it right, the bun is doughy and full of flavor while it soaks up the numerous sauces. Best hotdog in Tucson!

If you are looking for the best hot dogs in Tucson look no further. I am a huge fan of this simple but delicious place. Super Chipilon is the best hot dog I’ve ever had! Wash it down with a real sugar coke for a great food experience.

The best Sonoran style hot dog in Tucson! The bread is delicious and sets it apart from the others.

The Super Chipilon changed my life. A soft, doughy garlic-pan-fried bun wraps around perfectly grilled onion, tiny diced tomatoes, beans and an appropriate spread of mayo, mustard and melted cheese. The hot dog itself was lightly charred(just how I like it) but could have been a little bigger. That being said, this ensured the rest of the ingredients could actually fit in the bun, making it less sloppy to eat.

An upgrade tot the standard Sonoran Dog. The are the creators of the Chipilon and Super Chipilon.(With garlic powder grilled on) I never had one. Let’s give it a try. The Chipilon is the Sonoran dog with the bread outside toasted and melted cheese. That is a definite delicious upgrade! Outstanding! The super has garlic grilled on the bread. Too much garlic– just dusted a bit off and it was perfect. This careta is legit and requires a visit!

I love these Sonoran dogs. But, beware– they are like kryptonite to vegetarians. And, just like the chip commercial, you can’t have just one. I’ve been to parties where they’ve catered and their truck is always a hit. Ask for the chipilon style!
