All I can say is WOW. Excellent experience here. I’d recommend to anyone, and will be coming back. We checked in after midnight and Eliza and Armando were at the counter and ready to help. We had just called to find out about any discounts available for the night and not only did they remember the call, but per my mom they had our keys ready to go. Eliza was a gem. She was professional and courteous and just as bubbly as if it were noon not midnight. When I walked in with my 3 very sleepy, grumpy boys Armando and Eliza were so good with them. They greeted them, offered cookies and water and made them feel at home. Indicted an ATM in the lobby and FREE water bottles. The room was clean, comfortable and equity with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower, just right. Again, my experience here was amazing!

We have stayed at many hotels in Tucson, and this is one of the best!
When we arrived we were greeted by a gentleman working the counter. New to the job, he needed a little help by another employee and both were incredibly patient and showed great hospitality. Having fresh cookies and a cold bottle of water is something i haven’t seen before, but was a pleasant surprise.
Also, there is nothing more disappointing than going out to a hot tub and seeing that the cleanliness is obviously not a priority. When we arrived at this location and saw that the pool area was spotless, i had no problem hopping in to relax.

Good comfortable rooms at a great price! Very comfortable beds: slept like a log! Good healthy and filling breakfast. Quiet room facing the riverbed, no sound from the freeway close by. But if you are looking for a fancy hotel, this is not it. River trail at the back has a picturesque walking trail. Hotel is central yet away from traffic. Staff were very attentive to our needs. Will definitely book herein next trip to Tucson. Thanks for a memorable experience.

After a complication with our reservation, Heather (not sure if she’s manager or what, but she deserves a raise for how amazing she was) handled everything personally to make sure that we were taken care of.
We booked a king size suite and loved our room. Bed was comfortable. Couch & chair were comfy as well had a door between the bedroom /​living room space which was nice to help our toddler stay on her schedule.

Pop machines on first floor (only accept cash).
The water from the shower was hot and the water pressure was great. Had enough towels in our room for 2 adults and a toddler.
Two separate tvs so we could watch something in the bedroom while our toddler watched a cartoon to fall asleep.
Breakfast was delicious quite a selection. Fresh fruit salad, fresh breads and muffins.
Staff was amazing through out our stay.
Would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel. It provides the quality of a pricier hotel but at a reasonable price. Convenient location, friendly staff, very clean, fast wi-​fi, quality furnishings, very comfortable bed, towels are thick and good sized. Rooms included non-​down pillow option — nice touch to have them readily available without requiring a call to housekeeping. Extra bath towels also provided routinely each day without us asking. Breakfast was tasty and serving dishes were kept full. Free water (important in AZ!) and cookies available throughout the day. Our second stay, this time for a week, and we will be back the next time we visit our Tucson relatives. Very impressed with the Country Inn brand and this hotel in particular. Seems to be very well managed — the small touches of water, cookies, extra towels, etc., are the sign of a well-​run operation. Highly recommend this hotel!

It was a very pleasant stay. We had to come Tucson unexpectedly and our length of stay was unsure. Rooms were clean, comfortable and perfectly priced. Breakfast every morning was pretty good and saved us time and money. Complimentary water, cookies and fruit were very convenient and nice touch made the stay even nicer. Very nice and accommodating staff.

I had a wonderful stay here. Great location right off the freeway and close to downtown. Rooms are super clean and nice, beds are comfortable. Best part is there complementry breakfast it is delicious not like not normal free stuff. Eggs and sausage were amazing.

I was double billed for a stay there on a business trip. It has been a NIGHTMARE to get the hotel to correct the mistake. The GM, David, is the person who could make this happen. Every time I call he is either taking a day off or not answering his phone. David does not return phone calls either. Submitting my expenses to my company after this trip is very time consuming due to a lack of responsiveness from the hotel management.
This management of this hotel is poor and frustrating.

Just got home from Parents Weekend at U of A. Last year we stayed at this property and looked forward to our visit this year. Upon checking in they did call us to see how the visit was so far. We had nothing to say as check in and room upon arrival seemed ok. Once we had a chance to visit, we were so disappointed, so many things were below standard. We had ants crawling in the room on the counter above the fridge microwave. I will commend the hotel they did send someone up when we complained and he sprayed RAID which seemed to take care of the ants. The manager on duty comped us some money which again we appreciated. We had issued with the air in the room, we tried to set it lower and it just keep kicking back to a higher temperature as it seemed they override anything you try to do. Other things sub par were the faucet in the sink. Water barely came out of the faucet. The shower head was terrible and very hard to take a relaxing shower. To top it off as we were leaving today the chair in the bedroom where our bags had been resting had stains all over it that we did not see because our bags were piled on the chair. We will find another property to stay at as we will not stay at this property again next year for parents weekend.

These beds were so comfortable, very quiet rooms, clean clean clean, very hospitable, and had the best breakfast out of all the hotels we have stayed at during our trip to Texas. We will be looking for Country Inns to stay at from now on. Thank you!

This hotel was a surprise for the money! Stayed overnight in Tucson for a concert. Complimentary cookies and water at check in was not something we were expecting. There’s free breakfast too, but we overslept from the concert the night before and missed it. The dining area looked nice though.
The morning front desk staff is very nice and friendly. The night front desk staff was a little less friendly, but still nice. It’s a little noisy, but it wasn’t awful, even by being by an airport. Wifi is slow, but I didn’t need it for much. We had a king size bed in our room, with a flat screen tv, mini fridge and microwave, coffee machine, ironing board, extra blankets and pillows in the closet, and a little desk work station.
If I ever need to be in Tucson again, I’ll stay here!

I can’t say enough complimentary things about the hotel and especially the staff! I made a mistake when I booked the type of room I needed, but the manager was quick to correct my error with no problem. He also gave our girls a goody bag filled with great snacks. It’s like being at home. The breakfast is always phenomenal with a wide variety to please everyone. Whenever possible I prefer this hotel to others and will book a room with them without reservation. Thanks for the great customer service always!

If you are like me trying to wow your spouse for anniversary, keep reading.
I wanted something romantic for my anniversary as a lot of couples do/​need, it took me a week to find this perfect spot for a romantic anniversary. The hotel has a romantic package that includes wine (non-​alcoholic is optional), fruit and cream of your likeness along with a whirlpool fit for two. Just make sure to leave a note of exactly what you want. Breakfast is also included and the best of all is I couldn’t hear any neighbor’s noises once in the suit. My husband was very pleased with the place. I would advise those couples who are looking for something special and don’t know where to go this place is a great opportunity, even if you are on budget. The amenities were great, clean, new, excellent customer service, free water bottles and cookies, and another great feature is that is not super elegant or intimidating, the décor is fit for families of different backgrounds that makes is it very comfortable. If there was anything I would advise the manager is to shift the bathroom door to open out to the room and not to use the bathroom space, since it gets a little cramped. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

All the Interstate 10 motels north of Congress have similar features. The difference between these places is the ambiance and quality of the amenities.
ROOMS:
1. The air conditioners can be set to 60 degrees and they have the horsepower to get there in 100 degree + summers.
Why 60 degrees?
Because the rooms have firmly cushioned beds with very heavy warm comforters to keep you cozy through the night. It’s like luxury camping.
2. The shower curtains bow out on the hangers and the bottoms never seem to linger outside the tub which can result in minor bathroom floods.
3. Our window view was almost as good as you can get anywhere along the interstate. We looked directly out over the temporarily flowing Santa Cruz River with its associated River Park walkers and bicyclers. Get your room on the WEST SIDE of the building for this amenity.
4. The wifi does not require a password so you are connected after agreeing to some boiler plate regulations.
MOTEL:
1. The building sits at the end of a short dead end road resulting in very little automobile or foot traffic around your parked car.
2. The motel is closer to downtown Tucson than most other similar motels in the area.
3. The free breakfast dining room is open all the time with free coffee, tea and fruit.
4. The dining room is comfortable and cozy with a tranquil view of the Santa Cruz river and nearby people using the River Park paths.
EXTRA:
1. Our HBO channel was not working during our stay. The manager gave us the equivalent of a free day’s stay in credit.
2. I will post some pictures to illustrate my descriptions above.
3. The daily rate for our stay was less than the Holiday Inn Express about a mile up the road.

A great hotel to stay at that’s easy on the pocket. The staff is very friendly and personable. I also really like having free water bottles, cookies, and hot breakfast.
Our beds were nice and comfy, and the television had a nice selection of channels. My only gripe is the fact that it’s so close to the freeway, so you can hear cars and see lights if you get places in a room facing that direction. Nevertheless, if we’re ever back in Tuscon, this hotel will definitely be a top option.

We got tired driving and pulled in asked if they allowed dogs, which they did for 25 $. Room was very clean. Bed was so comfy. Front desk was very friendly and accommodating. We would stay there again in a heart beat.

Best Value in town. I live a few blocks away but when my family came to visit, they stayed here. For $ 99, they got a large room overlooking the «river» with a King sized bed. Free big breakfast, Wi-​fi, cable and a nice pool and spa. My brother had booked the Starr Pass Resort for a 2 bedroom suite ($ 700+) but I told him to cancel and stay here. He agreed it was a better deal.
p. s. If you are coming for the Gem show, you can park your car and walk to most exhibits.

So, yeah. I really expected to hate this place. I mean, it *is* right next to the highway and there’s usually some tractor trailers parked in the lot. I pictured… I dunno… loud, crazy, blood-​thirsty truckers chasing naked co-​eds through the halls with chainsaws while people on crotch rockets tore through the place leaving tire marks all over the walls and dead bodies in their wake. Or maybe a prostitute/​hobo convention with meth head chaperones and camera crews from the show COPS. But no.
And believe me — I’ve been in places like that. I once got called (EMS) to an apartment that had taken extensive fire damage (talking charred black walls here) and was inhabited by a.) a hobo with a shopping cart b.) a prostitute with acute «leg pain.» We took the hooker to the ER and called it a day… but that was Jacksonville… this was Tucson.
So this place was pretty nice — surprisingly so. I asked for a «quiet room» and got one in the back facing the mountains (i.e. not facing I-​10). The place was clean, staff friendly, I had a fridge, microwave and all the clean linen I could shake a stick at. There was free bottled water and cookies, free wi-​fi, a business center (computer at a desk with a printer), a dining room (free breakfast) and a fitness room. There’s also an ATM machine and a few vending machines for snacks.
There was also an iron in the room… but no ironing bard. I thought that odd but never got around to asking the front desk about it. I wasn’t sure if I was expected to iron my clothes on the computer desk in the room or if I was supposed to order one… next time.
There was a hair dryer (not that I have use for one…), a HD TV, lounge chair and a ceiling fan.
I was kinda bummed there was no room service… BUT you could order in from a local restaurant if you wanted — very expensive menu! There was also a Denny’s just up the road but I mean, come on — you’re in Tucson, right? There’s great food all over the place so who the hell would want room service over something like BK’s or even In N Out? Right.
My two biggest concerns whenever staying anywhere are always cleanliness and quiet. This place gets an A for cleanliness. The quiet factor gets a B-​. I mean, no matter where you’re staying you have assume there’s going to be at least some noise, yeah? There was. But not enough to induce rage at 3 a.m.
The doors are heavy as hell and make a loud CRASH when they close. So people going in and out of their rooms will wake you up. There was only one night where some idiots decided that going in and out of their room 50 million goddamn times and talking as loud as they can in the hallways at midnight was a great fuckin’ idea. But even they eventually got tired or died. Either way, it got quiet later on.
So, what, would I stay here again? Sure. But only if I could get a room not facing the highway. Also, I’d probably not do the first floor thing again… I thought about it when I was checking in but was too tired to *really* think it through. If you’re on the first floor you’re most likely going to get people staying above you and because the universe has a fucked up sense of humor those people are gonna have kids and those kids are gonna jump all over the floor.
Thankfully, this was kept to a minimum but it was still there. Hence, B-​. They either died too or checked out before new kids checked in.

Okay, the bad reviews are from a person who was disgruntled because of money, and the other one, because they had a room on the highway side.
I needed a great place to stay at a moment’s notice after being booked by my company at a hellhole. no kidding. I didn’t care about highway noise to be honest… I just wanted a place that was clean and safe.
I was able to get a fatastic room at the back of the hotel… mountain view with no cars or pedestrian traffic AND a suite. It was fantastically priced so it makes my employer happy, and the clean, homey feeling was great. I mean, I was at a place that made me cringe from the dirt and hair… This place was immaculate, the decore fresh and light, and the the staff amazingly friendly and helpful. I was able to stay for 4 nights and was so relaxed after working all da! All this for the same price as the horrible hell hole… and no, the quality was not spared!
I loved it and HIGHLY recommend this to anyone wanting a reasonable price, and a homey feeling.

I had one of my worst night’s sleep ever at this hotel! It overlooks the 10 Freeway and you can hear the traffic from individual vehicles through the paper-​thin walls all night. If you don’t know the difference between the sound of motorcycles, dump-​trucks, V6 trucks and V4 cars, you’ll be sure to find out at the front of this hotel! Additionally, trains can be heard making noise for minutes on end. I woke up off an on all night and finally woke up completely to continual honking at about 4am. Who was the genius who decided to put a hotel overlooking the freeway?
What else was wrong… The internet connection is also horribly slow (4KB/​sec). I had (by far) more connectivity from my smartphone. The items at the breakfast were not well-​replenished. I waited over 15 minutes and the fruit was not restocked.
On the way out, I spoke to the manager and suggested he let guests have the option to choose which side of the freeway that they will sleep. He quickly responded by saying that the «football team» booked up the hotel. It makes me wonder if my room was pushed to the freeway-​side of the building, even though I booked over a week in advance. I will never return to this hotel, and highly suggest you look elsewhere! I suggest this on the basis that I’ve stayed at over 100 hotels around the world in the past few years and this is one of the two worst.
