CEDR currently supports over 1200 practices nationwide. Our members come from a wide range of specialties, including general medicine, dental, urgent care, veterinary, optometry, orthodontic, chiropractic, podiatry, cosmetic surgery, and physical therapy. We support doctors with as few as one employee to as many as 1,000 employees.

History

Established in 2006.

CEDR HR Solutions was co-​created by CEO Paul Edwards and Douglass Lodmell.

CEDR was created to offer dental and medical practice owners a go-​to resource for all their HR and practice management needs. Paul and Douglass recognized a critical need of dental and medical employers for a legally-​compliant, fully comprehensive employee handbook in their practice to establish day-​to-​day operational rules for staff members and fight against employment lawsuits. CEDR started with just a few clients and in the last 8 years has grown to over 1200 clients in all 50 states.

Paul E.

Business Owner

Paul Edwards has over twenty-​five years’ experience as a manager and owner. He is an expert in human resources and specializes in helping medical and dental offices solve employee issues. During his talks and articles, Paul passes on the benefits of his knowledge and experience he gained having worked with hundreds of medical practices in all 50 states. In addition to experience speaking in front of thousands of practice owners, Paul is also a featured writer for The Profitable Dentist, Dental Economics, and Podiatry Management Magazines, among others.

Over the past eight years, his HR expertise, employment litigation avoidance techniques and customized employee handbooks have been successfully implemented by hundreds of offices. He speaks regularly at employment education seminars across the country.
