Wonderful Breakfasts! Comfy guest rooms. Beautiful 1927 home with lots of character and original artwork throughout. Many amenities. WIFI, plush robes, TV/​DVD, movie library, fresh baked cookies each afternoon, good strong coffee, desert gardens, near the Fourth Avenue and Congress Street entertainment districts, near the University of Arizona, easy parking and lots of it, delicious scones, homemade bread, friendly hosts, cute resident dogs who are available for petting. Two dog friendly rooms. Please inquire.

History

Established in 1994.

We opened the inn in 1994 and have been serving our guest ever since.

Catalina Park Inn is one of the longest running original-​owner inns in Tucson.

Some of our guests have been staying with us from year one and are like family. We have a large repeat guest base. You will meet intersting folks from all over the globe at breakfast each morning. When the crowd is lively the conversation can go on for hours.

Mark and Paul were amazing hosts! We loved our time at the Inn! The breakfasts were amazing and they even went so far as to make me GF pancakes to cater to my allergy to gluten.
We stayed in the Bower room and it was lovely and clean. The courtyard garden is gorgeous and I wanted to spend the whole weekend there. The company of the other guests was delightful and all in all we really enjoyed our time there. Plus it’s walking distance to the University and downtown.

My two night stay at the Catalina Park Inn was first rate. The owners are very welcoming, while maintaining a professional attitude. My room was stylishly decorated with everything I needed, and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious. The gardens, like everything else at the Inn, are beautifully maintained.

Very quiet and extremely comfortable beds. The linens are all soft, our room was spacious and I really felt like a welcomed guest in a nice home without having to see anyone! Mark and Paul have done a great job and are fun to talk to while they serve breakfast.

This is a great example of why I prefer a B&B over a hotel! 2nd time there and I will return again! Find time to enjoy sitting on the patios or in the cactus gardens; so beautiful! They were warm, welcoming and really accommodating with dietary concerns. Breakfast was outstanding! It is in a great central location. The way the home is designed is creative and eclectically elegant… wish I could design like that!

This is a wonderful place. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. The innkeepers, Mark and Paul, are wonderful hosts and make a delicious breakfast. Great attention to detail is very apparent in the rooms and common areas. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in Tucson.

Lovely well-​appointed Craftsman home, no chintz and doily mania here, in a great historic neighborhood near the University… The desert garden is wonderful and our room, the Oak room, was huge.
Paul and Mark are your helpful and friendly hosts who respect your privacy, too.
Tuscon exceeded our expectations as did the Catalina Park Inn.

We have stayed at the Catalina Park Inn twice, having just returned from UA graduation weekend. Each visit has been wonderful. Paul and Mark are friendly and gracious hosts, the rooms comfortable and homey with sharp attention to detail. Breakfast has always been outstanding — one of the best we’ve had at a B&B. We visit Tucson regularly and plan to return again and again!

Our first bed and breakfast experience, but not our last. I’m so glad we decided on this instead of a hotel/​motel. The medium size room is beautiful with a classic southern feel. Private bathrooms, TV with cable, wood floors, ceiling fan in the bedroom, and large mirrors throughout the house. The location is also great, only a few blocks away from the University of Arizona. If you get to pick which room I would recommend getting the west wing. The west wing has the garden view. I would highly recommend this place if you want a home like look/​feel. Way better than a hotel. Mark and Paul, the innkeepers are super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is served between 8am-​9am. The only thing I didn’t like about the room was the weak shower. There must be some water restriction since it such a dry place.
