The technician was a nice kid. Hard working, but the owner basically tried to rip me off. I get it, HVAC work isn’t cheap, and I accepted the $ 150 an hour fee. But he tried to charge me $ 125 for a $ 30(at naugtons)($ 16.99 online) transformer. Really? A 300% mark up on what you paid for it. I won’t use them again, because of this. Had he just been reasonable and not tried to fleece me I would be good. I would be sitting here writing that I am satisfied with them. Instead I am giving them the one star salute, if I see the owner he will get the one finger salute as well.

I am giving a 2 star review based on a lack of comprehensive HVAC installation and a perpetual failure to return phone calls. 24 Hour Heating & Cooling installed a Goodman HVAC system into my home with flex duct work connecting 2 rooms which had not previously been connected to the evaporative cooler. However, they completely missed the fact the bathroom was never connected to the main duct. I just bought the home and no one ever told me that although the bathroom had a vent cover, it was actually never connected to the main duct. 24 Hour Heating & Cooling promised to inspect my whole home for air flow quality, which they obviously didn’t because they never inspected my bathroom. They just installed the HVAC, showed me how to use the thermostat, and left. I wasn’t even provided with an invoice of full payment and services which had been done. My contractor discovered when he removed the vent in the bathroom that there was no AC duct, just insulation. I was furious. I called 24 Hour Heating & Cooling a few times but was ignored until I texted a photo of the opening with just insulation. They agreed to connect the bathroom to the main duct at a charge to me of «half the cost» even though it was their mistake for missing it. For 2 weeks straight of installing the HVAC by accessing the attic through the bathroom, they never noticed there was no duct running to the bathroom. Well, they returned with the owner of 24 Hour agitated with me because I couldn’t be home when he sent workers over without ever communicating that to me. The workers were positive and productive when they were there completing the HVAC work. I finally got a full invoice the second time around. However, the air flow throughout my home is not balanced yet again 24 Hour Heating & Cooling won’t return any of my calls now that they consider themselves«done.» The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the Goodman HVAC system works and 24 Hour did properly install it. I just don’t have proper airflow distribution and my calls aren’t returned.

Ive used this company twice now, once for my business, and once for my home. Both times I needed«after hours» work performed ASAP, and both times this place provided the lowest diagnostic quote, and they include an hour of labor in that price($ 75 before 5PM, $ 92 after 5). In both situations, they were at my location within 2 hours. Most other companies try to hide additional information from you when you call, such as specific repair prices of hypothetical situations, but not these guys. They are up front and honest with you before you pay them to come out. Honest people doing honest business… well! Technicians are knowledgeable, informative, and friendly and they work expediciously. Only downside was the first time the technician was about 30minutes late for my appointment. I was a little urked at first, but my frustration was quickly put to rest when I saw how well he worked. They even showed and explained to me what was wrong as they were doing the repair, telling me things such as «if this ever happens again, check here first because you can probably do this repair yourself and save $ 90» I found that extremely helpful and respectable. I actually thought the work was so good that the first time I tipped the technician. He deserved every cent he made that night. CALLTHESEPEOPLEYOUWON’T BEDISAPPOINTED!
