Excellent service from the door to the sushi bar. Service was also very fast. Dollar sushi on Thursday makes this place a great option for a quick sushi lunch before moving on with your day.

EH, I’ve tried this place on 2 separate occasions. The first time I ordered I was not impressed with the food at all! and they were so difficult when you asked for an extra packet of SOYSAUCE!!! I know they have the $ 1 sushi all day on Thursdays so i said what the heck lets give it a try… well lets just say I was still starving!!! I have never seen bite sized sushi before. Plus you only get 3 sushi pieces for a $ 1. Well, hey, LESSONLEARNED!!!

This is some of the best sushi that I’ve had so far in Ga in my price range. I love this place. I get the habachi dinner with a roll or two on the side to go. The dinner comes with a meat, rice, veggies, soup and a salad. The restaurant is nice and clean, but I prefer to eat this food at home. The service is mediocre. What makes this place so unique is that it is connected to a chinese restaurant. The Chinese side is the side that you go to for anything take out. The prices are average for sushi and habachi, but I must admit that the Chinese food cost a tad bit more than what I’m willing to pay. It’s still pretty good though. This place doesn’t deliver, so call ahead and pick it up.

I love my new local sushi go-to! Fuji Ya has really yummy rolls, excellent friendly service(the head sushi chef is so warm and funny that sitting at the bar is never lonely), and kitschy atmosphere. Plus, they deliver! I have only eaten the sushi, and my favorite roll is the Dragon Fire dipped in their delicious spicy mayo. It is a wonderful blend of textures and flavors, covered in visually dazzling red roe. Sashimi is always fresh, and a great price. All day Thursday and every other day for an hour is $ 1 sushi. WOW! It is simply an amazing deal, and the service and quality are still on point. They offer a huge variety of 3 piece maki, nigiri, and tempura for a buck. You spend $ 15 dollars and walk away feeling like you really treated yourself. I always have a fun time here. The families working in the dining room joke and tease each other and always welcome you into their family for the night. Just a great place!

This place was recommended as «the best Sushi in Tucker.» Maybe compared to grocery store sushi. I won’t order sushi again unless it’s during happy hour or on Thursday. The quality and taste wasn’t amazing and the simple rolls were too expensive. The sushi menu wasn’t anything fancy either. Just a handful of simple rolls and a few specialty rolls without descriptions. The restaurant had an overall old and dirty feeling and a funny smell, it was cluttered and outdated. Probably won’t go back for sushi, might try the Hibachi though.

I have been coming to fuji ya since I was in high school and I love it! Great prices and pretty delicious sushi. The décor isn’t that great and it’s located in a strip mall. But the servers are attentive and the sushi is fresh. I love it here.

I grew up in the area around fuji ya and used to come here a lot when I was a child.(Only reason I gave two stars) I used to come here to order sushi, but recently the rice and fish don’t taste fresh.. I came here recently with two of my friends. I ordered sushi andu friends ordered crab ragoons and dollar sushi. Not only the sushi but my friend said she did not like her crab ragoons because they tasted weird. She tried to send them back but would not let her!!! She barely tasted them and didn’t eat basically any of it and then attempted to make her pay full price for it. Terrible service and one of my friends who was with me is chinese and said the waiters were saying rude things about us in chinese. I will not be returning here again.

I’ve been to this restaurant three times and I’ve had a decent experience overall. I had picked up a salmon bento box the first time and it was a bit on the dry side. The second time I had hibachi. The service was good. The chef kept our group entertained throughout the entire meal. The only issue was that the vegetables took so long to cook that by the time our chef was done my rice and beef were already cold. The third time I came on a Friday and they had a special deal. One soup and two sushi rolls for $ 10.99. I was skeptical of whether the sushi would be good but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the double decker tuna roll and the salmon tempura roll. The tuna was so fresh and tender and the salmon was deliciously moist even though it had been thoroughly fried. The only downside was the hot and sour soup. It was lukewarm, vinegar-like, and had too much black pepper. I still recommend trying this deal but with a different soup. It’s also only offered on Wednesdays and Fridays.

$ 1 sushi is a great way to try new things. Rice was a bit dried out — could have been a one time thing. Overall positive.

Their sushi doesn’t taste very fresh and their hibachi is not very good. The fried rice was hard and dry like it was old. I gave it 2 stars because the people were nice but I won’t be going back.

Place looks average. Feels a little old and eh. Soup is average. Crunchies a bit stale. BUT I have to tell you they nail it on the Hibachi! I sincerely mean that. Their hibachi taste great! The cook did a lot of tricks. Also got Aloha Roll and it’s fantastic. Will continue to come here as long as they nail he Hibachi like this. Great job!

We didn’t stay long. The entrance to the restaurant gave us a bad impression. It looked very cluttered and unclean. We sat, though still considering if we wanted to stay. The servers were pushy and rushed us in. We decided to leave once we saw the following: dirty grill, yellow stained beverage glass(supposed to be clear). Oh, and there are no free refills on soda, iced tea only. Soda comes in a can, warm, and they give you a glass with ice. Didn’t stay long enough to review the food.

I really enjoy coming here for the $ 1.00 dollar sushi, sushi chef Johnnie is a riot, fun and very talented. The staff is tentative & kind.

It was OKAY, they don’t have too much of nigiri or sashimi varieties. The waitress quality was of a Chinese restaurant, serve fast n no personal connection. I would come back though.

It is a fun family friendly place. The food was good a bit salty. The cook was very funny and included everyone in his cooking routine. They use a lot of salt and butter. Probably not a very good place for a health nut but hey Yolo.

Sushi is great, hibachi is above average. Sushi chef and servers are fantastic. Going here more and more. By the end of my third visit, the servers, chef, and owner remembered me, and my name. I must say I’m impressed with the owner’s personality and willingness to pitch in when it’s busy. I went tonight and the place was packed solid, sitting people on the Lucky Key side, and 15 – 20 plus people waiting for a table. The owner still found time to come chat twice, and even refilled my drinks a few times. Regarding the food, if you like cucumber salads, ask for the spicy cucumber salad. To die for. Also, try a «create you own roll». California style — crab — avocado — cucumber — deep fried — teriyaki sauce — spicy mayo — sriracha sauce… Heavenly Dollar Thursdays are awesome, and it’s Dollar Happy Hour between 5 and 6pm every day. Great deal on sushi, nigiri, and hibachi. My employees are always wanting to go on Thursdays for lunch. Not a hard sell… Seen some folks complain about the hibachi. I’ve been to just about every well known or highly rated hibachi place in ATL as well as San Fran, San Diego, etc. Not much of a difference. Pretty hard to screw up hibachi, and these guys don’t. Also seen folks complain about some of the servers. I’ll give you one is a little spastic, but she’s not a bad server. And someone else mentioned some servers were hard to understand… helllllloooo. Go back to the farm.

Cons: Our main server was a scatterbrain and was quite confusing at times, even forgot to take my initial drink order. Crowded us at times and yet also was hard to reach at other times. Also was very slow most of the time. The ‘hibachi soup’(dishwater soup as I like to call it) was very lacking, though not really a deciding factor for my rating. I also didn’t care for the tempura veggies but no one else seemed to mind. Pros: Our hibachi chef was very good and all of our food came out wonderfully. I had the calamari with fried rice and veggies, for $ 17.00 I received a huge portion and had enough to eat leftovers twice. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food very much. Our birthday girl got a red velvet cupcake which was quite tasty. Overall I would definitely go back, the food was delicious and the prices are decent, but someone needs to retrain that waitress, she is quite a mess. I haven’t been to the adjoined Lucky Key Chinese restaurant since I was quite young so I can’t give a review on that part. Great hibachi, terrible service. I’d give this place a 3.5 star rating.

Updating review because I came here for the hibachi. No salad. GREAT fried rice. Excellent chicken, good veggies. All for $ 10? Yes please!
