I am committed to providing comprehensive outstanding integrated healthcare in Truckee. Using my in-​depth knowledge medium bust Dr. BarryI will work with you hands on and integrate Chiropractic, Active Release Techniques, Nutrition and then Pilates based Rehabilitation. As we go through your treatment, your needs change, this is on minute to minute and daily basis. So we might do some bodywork first, then some chiropractic and then while doing some rehab to get the body work to take hold in your body another problem arises that needs some body work or some chiropractic, we work on that right then go back to the rehab so both changes can become part of your new body, if you will. Then while working on you over several visits it will become apparent that there is a nutritional deficiency that is hampering your healing, we address that. Established in 1991.

I Graduated New York Chiropractic College in 1991. I then worked with my Dad a 1948 Graduate of the New york Chiropractic College. He retired after 62 years. At that time he was the longest practicing chiropractor in New york State. I hope to be able to say the same about Practicing in truckee and California, I moved to Truckee in 1998 and have providing care sine Then. My office was originally in High sierra Fitness by the Tahoe truckee Airport. The moved to the Elevation Fitness in 2002. Which became the Julia Mancuso Performance center.

This is my favorite doctor! He does amazing work and I always feel so much better after he does the active release technique as well as sports Thereapy and chiropractic. He has a very nice home based office area that everyone feels very comfortable in. Dr Barry is always extremely helpful and excellent at explaining things about nutrition, exercise, and helps you feel empowered to be the healthiest you can be. I have been going to him for years and especially appreciate that he is a natural path as well as Pilates trainer and has such extensive knowledge in all areas and comes off extremely professional and yet personal at the same time. For 48 years I have been in pain daily from falling 30 feet and landing sitting. Dr. Barry is the best healer, he and his ART keep me out of pain better than anything else I have tried.
After 3 sets of PT for my shoulder and my knee with no pain relief in three years I tried ART. After only 2 months of seeing Dr. Barry both issues were pain free as long as I continue regular appointments and the 5 minutes of exercise he gave me a few times a week. I worked with my hands all my life and Dr. Barry also has the best hand work, I no longer need to sleep with hand/​wrist braces.
I have been Rolfed had 30 years of Feldenkrais tried Aston Patterning, Somatics, Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, Quantum Energetics, conventional Chiropractic, Atlas Orthogonal, Magnets, Far Infrared, Steam Saunas, Yoga, Weight Lifting, Swimming, Organic Beds, and a Physiatrist, MD with narchotics medications.
Dr. Barry is a healer, he is conscientious, well educated, intuitive and magic an amazing combination, he is one of a kind.

I have been seeing Dr. Barry for two years. It is unfortunate he is in Truckee and I live in Sparks or I would go to see him every week, but I do make it up about twice a month and each time it is a terrific experience. You can tell from the moment you walk in that he has a plethora of knowledge and a general aptitude for the soft tissue work he performs on you. I highly recommend Dr. Barry. He is worth the trip.

I saw Dr. Barry Triestman for Active Release Therapy. He really helped me with a long lasting ankle injury, and also some regular aches and pains caused by high mileage running and other regular exercise. Within 24 hours after every one of my appointments with him, the discomfort disappeared. Dr. Barry was also great at helping me schedule appointments in appropriate time intervals so as to best help with upkeep for the milder but more regular discomforts associated with endurance sports. He is very knowledgeable in his field and also showed me exercises to do at home to better help myself which I did incorporate into a daily routine. I highly recommend him to anyone in the area needing ART or any endurance athletes.

If you need help for pain or an injury in Truckee California. Dr. Triestman, an expert in chiropractic, active release technique, physical therapy and rehab is your man. He helped to alleviate my elbow pain very quickly. Dr, Barry also helped my wife’s Carpal tunnel syndrome which allowed her to return to training to be able to compete in the Ironman. In addition, when I through out my back last winter shoveling snow he was able to relieve the shooting pain in my lower back quickly. We are lucky to have a chiropractor as good as Dr. Triestman in Truckee

As an elite athlete training in the Tahoe area, I sought out treatment from Dr. Triestman to help with a nagging shoulder issue I had. Dr. Triestman went above and beyond to find the root cause of the issue. Dr. Triestman does not finish treatment when the time is up, he finishes treatment when he has resolved all issues. Being very active himself, he fully understands the athlete’s body and therefore can properly address the issues in ways that far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Triestman’s office is in a very peaceful and beautiful space– only adding to the delightful experience. I cannot recommend Dr. Triestman highly enough!
