History

Established in 1999.

Sun Power Construction was formed in 1999 as a C-​46 Licensed Solar contractor in Truckee California. Owner Kevin Farrell has a long and sucessful history in the solar industry. Starting in 1989 as a helper for a solar company in San Diego and quickley moving to lead technichian. In 1994 he was hired by a solar company in San Francisco as a crew foreman overseeing Solar Thermal, Solar Electric, and Cogeneration projects residental and commercial in the greater bay area. In 1999 he started Sun Power Construction in Truckee, Lake Tahoe area of California specializing in Solar installations in the rough mountanious and heavy snow load area.
