In just a few years Rising Phoenix Archery has grown to be the largest archery education program in the state of Michigan. Our curriculum based approach has created an environment where archers new to the sport can grow and develop.

We now also feature the largest indoor range in Michigan with 38 shooting lanes spread across two ranges. This unique range design allows us to run multiple types of programming at the same time.

Plus, we always make access to our equipment FREE for all programs. No extra fee’s or hidden charges. We know that if we can make it simple to get a bow in your hand. You will fall in love with the sport just like we did.

History

Established in 2011.

RPA was founded on the premise of creating an elite archery training program dedicated to increasing the number of participants in the sport of competitive archery.

We began with a pair of hand made targets, four bows and a passion to teach. Since those beginnings we now have the largest and most comprehensive archery training program in the state of Michigan.

Many of our archers are Nationally ranked but just as many just participate weekly for the fun and fellowship the archery community enjoys.

We believe that when you love what you do, it is never work. Our culture of fun and focus creates a balance that allows archers to reach their desired potential.

Who didn’t love this sport if you got a chance to do it as a kid? Then it disappeared, out of site and out of mind. Then a few years ago my kids received bows from their grandfather for Christmas. I was hooked, the family was hooked.

Fast forward a few years and I have had the opportunity to shoot with some of the best archers on the planet. When I came to Michigan in 2011, I found lots of bow hunters but not a lot of opportunity for people to learn how to do it properly. So I launched my own program with a couple of used bows and some home made targets.

Now I get to lead a team of certified coaches in an elite program who share my same passion for archery. When you do what you love, it is never work.
