Our 5,000 square foot showroom hosts an inviting array of traditional and contemporary designs. We have wood burning stoves, wood burning fireplaces, wood burning fireplace inserts, wood burning furnaces and outside wood furnace heaters. We have one of the largest displays of cast iron, soapstone and steel wood burning stoves for sale in stores in the St Louis area. Hechler’s also offers pellet stoves, pellet fireplace inserts and pellet pipe and repair parts. Hechlers also has a large selection of electric fireplaces, electric fireplace inserts and electric stoves by Dimplex. We even have electric fireplace TV media entertainment centers, some with built in bookcases. We offer installation of wood burning stoves and fireplaces.

Hechler’s Hearth & Home can help you convert your fireplace to gas or convert your fireplace to electric. We have a «large hands on» showroom.

For over 100 years, we have been serving the people of Lincoln County. Welcome to our business. I am the 4^th generation of owners of Hechlers. My Great Grandfather Julius Hechler started the business in 1896. We still have our hardware store, «Hechler Hardware» and now have our seperate showroom, Hechler’s Mainstreet Hearth & Home. We are still family run and still operate under the concepts of personal service, honesty and integrity. We hope to be able to be of service for many years to come.
