After a long bike ride on Sep. 27, I stopped by at 3:00pm for a beer and hotdog with my daughter and — they were closed! Posted times were 12:00 — 8:00pm. I checked online before I arrived, and the same times were posted on the door. If you are not open at your advertised times, well, that’s a problem. I wasted my time riding across town to find a locked door. Fortunately, the best burger joint in Portland was open — The Local Cow! Had the Chupacabra(burger) with the Yellow Wolf IPA(Alameda Brewery, PDX). Needless to say, I won’t waste my time taking a chance this place is open again.

They made right just as I hoped. I really appreciate the effort made to reinvigorate my taste buds!

Delicious hotdogs and plenty of good beer and cider on tap! Nice little hang out. Not much more to do other than eat and drink. There is a TV above the bar and a funny bar tender to talk to.

I can’t believe it took me this long to visit this gem in Troutdale. If you love beer you must visit. I had a beer flight to try some beers out and I loved them all. Its small but the people were friendly and they have Nintendo! Cheers.

If you like beer, come here. I usually go for some beers on tap and then buy a bottle or two for home. Friendly, tasty, comfortable.

My friend(Alissa) had a pretty awesome wedding reception here. Who needs food when you really came here for drinks, right? They have a pretty wide selection of bottled beverages, including some delicious cider. The seating was pretty decent for such a small space, and the atmosphere was casual and cool. It looks like they offer bottle delivery, which would be cool to partake in if I actually lived in the area. Definitely check this place out!

This was a fun stop on the bike ride with the parents – I was shocked that this place was in Troutdale! I have consumed way too many Hop Venoms on draft which have been ruined by a combination of age, improper storage conditions, and unclean taps. This was as good as you get short of driving the four hours to Boneyard– it was fresh and hoppy just as it should be. The cheeseburger was delicious and the blue cheese and jalapeño topping tasty. Inside it was a bit dark and dingy, but the picnic tables outside were a nice place to sit in the sun. Our nice bartender helped my mom choose a beer and was very friendly – even when my mom insisted we get a picture.

Finally sweet that there is a decent place in Troutdale for a brew. I stopped by here on the way out to a «super secret fly fishing spot» this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the selection. I have never stopped anywhere in Troutdale other than the Plaid for float supplies, but I will definitely be back. Amazing selection of bottles, great draft selection(although small as of now) and a great burger. I can see great things for this place and maybe I won’t have to drive into Hood River to Double Mountain after a day on the mountain for a cold brew and a bite to eat…(Yeah, right!) Good Work Brewligan’s!

I visit Brewligans a couple times a week on average. I always have a good time. The staff is friendly and the environment is comfortable. Most of the time it’s not too crowded, the exception is weekend evenings. They normally have 5 craft beers on tap $ 4 — $ 5 per pint. Most sundays you can get your growler filled for $ 11. They also have what seems like hundreds of bottles and cans of beer, and hard cider. The bottled beer is sold at bottle shop prices($$$), so if it’s a run of the mill beer, get it and the grocery store. It’s an all ages place and fairly family friendly, so they also have some craft root beers, ginger beers, etc available. The food is nothing to write home about. Fries, hot dogs, and burgers. I visit The Hoppy Brewer, in Downtown Gresham, on occasion but I prefer Brewligans for the relaxed environment and and comfier bar stools.

Walked in and were served by a bartender drinking off duty? . The other person next to him was drinking soo much that he was told to sit down while he hawled? unfortunate. We had one beer and left

My husband and I checked this place out on a nice Friday night and we fell in love with it! The décor is retro-comfy, the staff is so friendly and the beer is fantastic! We tried out the old school Nintendo, played some cards and relaxed on «grandmas couch». We’ll definitely be back to support a great local watering hole!

To have a bottle shop on the east side, it’s a beautiful thing. Selection is great. John and Sunny are awesome people. Support a local shop and drink delicious beer? Done! And Done! Check ‘em out. Worth every drop. :)

I was in town from Seattle visiting my friends who own Natian Brewery. They had an event at Brewligans and I tagged along. Had a great time! The owners and staff were so friendly I felt right at home. It’s a great place to hang out. I will plan to visit again next time I head to the area.
