Business Owner

A wife, mother, former pastry chef, wedding cake maker, baker, lover of life, simplicity, and all things cake! A native Oklahoman, who after 20 years calls Kansas City home — now a Texas resident.

At the age of seven my bed was made on flour sacks in the back of the donut shop my parents managed. You see my grandfather’s business was Dennis Donuts and Denny the Elephant was our mascot. So the story goes the flour seeped into my DNA.

Fast forward eighteen years later where I found myself waiting tables at YaYa’s a European Bistro in Leawood, KS. When I wasn’t servicing my tables, you could find me engaged with the pastry chef. One day I went to the owner and said, «I want to be your next Pastry Chef. The rest is history. For well over 20 years I have been making, baking, and creating beautiful wedding cakes and desserts, with each one tasting as beautiful as it looks.
