Tried this place after hearing people in the area rave about it. Wasn’t impressed by the bagels. Sure they were good but nothing to be bragged about.

This place has got some awesome bagels. The breakfast sandwiches get you your breakfast fix. The guys are fast to boot, got my breakfast sandwich in about 2 minutes. Great place to swing by for a bite.

We were coming back from a concert in Philly craving bagels. Coming from bagel city, our expectations were high. We ordered a an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese, and an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. We were pleasantly satisfactory with the bagels. Would come again if we are in the neighborhood.

Only in America! Here we have a «New York Bagel» shop run by Arabic speaking guys, who seem to know how to «make the donuts…» I was impressed. The crew of Ewing’s Finest who were there ahead of me seemed to know a good morning stop. I felt incredibly safe. But, the parking lot was like a DMZ.

It is NYC in Ewing NJ. This is a great spot with a great group of guys who run it. The food is always fresh hot affordable and you get what you want. This is not Starbucks so no fancy don’t expect fancy… expect good and affordable. Great coffee too!

My favorite bagels in the area! This was my go-to spot for a hang over cure in college. And I was there at least twice a week. The bagels are perfectly chewy outside with a soft inside. The vegetable cream cheese has real actual chucks of veggies. It’s awesome. My recommendations? For sweet, French toast bagels ugh cream cheese. Savory, garlic or sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese and a slice of tomato.

Looking for a cure to a hangover? This is it baby! Just don’t make the mistake of going to RJ’s a few blocks away. Yes you will save $ 1 on a bagel, but the service is deathly slow and the bagels suck. I’ve come here on several post-hangover occasions, where I normally start craving carbs and high fat products. I always get the same thing: everything bagel, egg, cheese and taylor ham. First thing, any bagel place in this neck of the woods that knows what taylor ham is… is a winner. Second, they will toast your bagel, ask you if you want ketchup, salt and pepper… how it should be. This is my go-to place for bagel, nice an huge, fluffy and perfect. Come here, get the everything bagel with the works and go crazy… maybe some homefries too… ok no homefries, that’s just too many carbs.

Disorganized service, greasy sandwiches(bacon is low quality) and the place is dirty. Won’t return.

The bagels are so big. I love their Super Cinnamon raisin and their French Toast bagels with cream cheese. If I get lunch I’ll get tuna salad on a plain or egg bagel. They make good breakfast platters too.

There is something glorious going on under this roof. The bagels alone have a stellar crust-to-chew ratio, which is important to me… …but then, one day, she toasted my bagel by accident and all hell broke loose. Their toasting apparatus somehow crisps up the exterior without crunchifying the interior, leaving you with a SUPER crispy yet soft dreamwich. Being raised in a family that owns a bagel shop, I know better than to toast a bagel the day it was made, but NYBD is the only exception to this rule. HUGE menu, ok prices, crabby staff. Closest bagel joint to my apartment, gladly. Will keep going back.

Came here to get a hot and cheesy steak sandwich and the sandwich that was prepared for me hit the spot! And it was 12 inches of sandwich for $ 4.99…wow. Topped that off with an ice cold Coke. Yo… heaven cant get much better than this :)

This place is the best for lunch or breakfast. I’m not gonna lie to you though it’s kinda messy. It’s like God just grabbed a really great new york deli off the corner of a street in Brooklyn and placed it in Ewing, NJ. The Bagels and the sandwiches are great. The Fries are better. Growing up as a kid I used to get a plain bagel with cream cheese and boy did they piled on the cream cheese. Ate it with sour cream and onion chips. One of the best I ever had. Unfortunately I think they whip the cream cheese now so it’s not as good as I remember but it’s still better than most places(now I think they whip it more since this is the latest trend). As far as flavored cream cheeses they have a large selection and they are all homemade. The owners are very nice people. Price is very cheap! Would have given them five stars if the place was cleaner, and if they had a choice between whipped and regular cream cheese.
