History

Established in 1972.

Timber Ridge was built in 1972 as a Jelly Stone Campground, part of a nationwide franchise market. It was converted to Timber Ridge by the owner at the time in 2000. The owner maintained the family atmosphere while still offering kids activities and other activities focusing on the outdoors. The park also began to offer groomed cross country ski trails and remained open year round. Timber Ridge was purchased by a new owner in 2005, which lead to many improvements and updates. More rental cabins, campsites with updated utilities were added. Cable was added to many sites and wifi was installed with access by majority of the sites. A rustic area was converted to a seasonal area. This area has several park home owners that call this their up north getaway. These homes can be used year round. Park home sales are now offered here. Banquet facility was updated and extended to accommodate 150+ people. Our covered bridge lends itself to a beautiful wedding reception area.
