Wivina Urbano, MD

So far my children’s care from Dr. Urbano and staff has been good. I have never had an issue with getting an appointment. I have never had to wait longer than 10 – 15 minutes. And all my concerns and questions are answered and explained. Therefore I am pleased.

Dr. Urbano and her staff are AWESOME! Since day one she has been great with my 11 month old son. Anytime I need anything or have any questions comments or concerns I can always pick up the phone and they are all more than willing to help me. I love the fact that they have a «Well room» for patients that are not sick but are simply there for a follow up/​check up.

Absolutely awful. TERRIBLE office staff. Dr. Urbano seems competent as a primary doctor, but I would not trust her if my child had any issues. She asks questions and does not listen to your answers, leading to a lot of repeating and annoyance. I was told by hospital nurses that my baby had milia on her face that would go away. Dr. Urbano told me that it was in fact milia, and would be gone by 3 months tops, without even looking at her face. Now I know its baby acne. I just cannot recommend her unless you cannot get an appointment elsewhere.

Horrible place. I chose Dr. Urbano as my kids primary doctor a few months ago and it’s been nothing but bad experiences. The lady at the front desk (Tina I think) is so rude every time I go there or call. It takes 3 hours to be seen for 30 seconds. Dr Urbano talks over me constantly and wont even let me answer the questions she asks. Today was the last straw, I waited in the waiting room for over an hour (I had an appointment scheduled) with my 6 year old son who has this nasty flu that’s going around and when I asked what was taking so long, they told me to calm down or they would ask me to leave! I was calm until they told me that! People are dying from this flu and #1 you have my kid infecting the waiting room and #2 you tell me to leave? This place is a joke! I’ll make sure no one I know ever goes here.

Love love love Dr Urbano and all of her staff. They know me and all my kids by name. They genuinely care about every single patient.
And for the record, the deductible you pa has to do with your insurance, not your doctor.

Dr. Urbano is a cool doctor but she really needs to get rid of TINA (Her assistant. She’s the BIGGEST one over there). I’m not trying to be MEAN but OMG TINA IS THE WORST NURSE I HAVE EVER MET.
The other thing I don’t like is that DR. Urbano charges ridiculous prices for measly paperwork. I spent $ 30 for 2 ½ pages of medical record for my daughter. My daughter doesn’t have free health insurance. I need these records for her school every single year. I have to pay the deductible every time I see Dr. Urbano and I still haveto pay for the paperwork too??? That’s just a BIG RIP OFF. I’ve had it so I switched doctor where I never have to pay (FREE/​GRATIS) for any of my daughter’s paperwork ever again.
Find other pediatrician if you can. She’s not worth the money especially when you pay your children’s health insurances and yet, you still have to pay for any paperwork.
