There food you can tell has just been sitting for awhile once you make your plates. The food isnt all that good. And it takes them a long time to refill the trays with food. The deserts also arent the best. There either really dry or hard. Its on the poor side for service too. The only thing i really like is the ice cream.

The place is good but the plates were crawling with flies. It was dinner time when we went here and picked up my first plate and really shocked with all the flies on the plate when I was about to put my first food on my plate. It really ruined my appetite to eat plus the food tasted too strong like they put to much salt or spices. I was thinking maybe the pots wasn’t clean to when they used it. The only good thing here is the corn bread.

Good value for the money. The food has always been fresh and the staff is friendly. Not great gourmet dining, just really good comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Our old standby for chicken and salad. Don’t mind much about the added cost for drinks as we don’t need the sugar. Always nice people working there and that goes a long wsy.

Awful food, the food sits forever until they replace when its gone, the best part is soda and ice cream, other than that good luck

Stopped in for lunch after a few hours of shopping. Got a military discount which was a nice bonus. Helpful staff at register and on the floor clearing tables. I was mainly there for the salad bar. It had a good amount of toppings & dressings. There was ready made pasta, fruit and potato salads out, but those didn’t interest me. There were plenty of entrees also available. I tried the orange chicken, a piece of fried chicken, and chicken fried steak, all, very good. Plenty of seating available, booths and tables. Restaurant does not open into the mall, but mall entrance is just steps away.

For whatever the reasons may be, the quality of the food continues to spiral downwards to the point that my wife and I probably won’t be visiting there to often in the future. We used to enjoy going there 3 or 4 times per month, but the past few times we’ve been there, it’s been almost like a ghost town compared to the number of people and families who used to frequent the place. Very sad!

Haven’t been here in a few years, it used to be not that bad. My grandkids wanted to go there for dinner so we did. First of all since when do you have to pay for a drink seperate at a buffet? Half the stuff was out when you went to get something, the chicken was burn’t, the corn dogs were burnt. How could a salad not even taste good? My grandkids hardly even ate, dissapointed and won’t be back

There’s no more all you can eat steak, which was very disappointing. Tracy HTB was my favorite of all the ones I’ve been to, but that has change, it’s no better then the one in Stockton. I’ll be going to Golden Coral for now on if I want a buffet style dinner.

Filthy! I went with my family today. This place used to be ok but its really dirty now. I wouldnt even use the bathroom. I regret not just hopping in the car and going to the Golden Corral. The food wasnt really that great either. I wont return

HTB, Tracy no longer have all you can eat steaks. Foods are warm only and dried out. They supposed to have good fried chicken but it was dried out and the oil used was old. They are going downhill. Foods is the same everyday. Lunch and dinner is the same food. If you want a steak, you have to add $ 2.49. No longer all u can eat steak. Golden Corral, nearby has all u can eat steak for the same price. I went there to try it out because I had a $ 3 off coupon and it is not worth it because they have cheap food and they used to be good 2 years ago. The best deal is lunch because it the same foods for dinner if you have a $ 5.99 coupon. They have to advertise alot with coupon because they are pretty empty.

Food was pretty good. Steak was delicious and had a lot of flavor. Desserts looked good. Salad was fresh and pastas were ok. Prices are around the same price as Golden Corral. In addition they have a beverage cart with sodas, chocolate milk, coffee etc

Just when you thought lunch couldn’t suck any worse, enter Home Town Buffet. IF there’s food out it’s cold or dried out. But that’s IF. Lots of empty slots in the buffet, dirty floors, and the saltiest sausage EVER! Tons of carbs, few veggies or protien. Haven’t been here in a while & it’ll be even longer before we return. Uuurrrrppppp.

Good buffet for the price. We usually come here once a week, me and my brother and mom. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is hit or miss for how busy/crowded it can be. We normally go around 1pm to 3pm for lunch. Occasionally we go for dinner when we get in the mood for steak. The lunch dishes had started to become«boring» in that it was usually the same dishes and not much variety and dried out or watered down. They have been trying to improve by adding more meat dishes as in beef, but they still have more chicken dishes than beef. I love chicken but there are times I’d like some beef and it doesn’t have to be a steak. Beef & broccoli, ground beef & macaroni, fajitas, ground beef with bell peppers & onions & tomatoes for example. Wish they had Menudo for lunch too and not just breakfast. Being able to get your own drinks whenever you want, instead of waiting for a «waitress/waiter» to come and get refills for you, is a major plus. They have great deals if you get the coupon book that they started offering.

It’s been awhile since we have been here because it was in decline. Today it was very good the food was fresh not stale, we were greated very nice and Yazmin was very nice and kept our table clean and checked on us often, it was a nice change from about 3 months ago when the service and food was very bad. So whatever your doing keep it up.

This food is cheap food. You get what you pay for. I like to go here once in a while because everybody get to eat wherever they want. I like it is kids friendly. I have to say that the highchairs need a dip cleaning. Oh Lord! Why are so dirty and sticky? it is gross… Last time I went he bathroom smelt a lot like pee, a lot. The main room is generally clean and the service is nice…

Two fat best friends + all you can eat buffet = perfect hangout! So sure, it’s typical buffet food, and you get what you pay for. But the place is always clean when we go, the food is kept hot and fresh, and the staff is always friendly. Plus, I’m absolutely obsessed with the dumplings and the macaroni and cheese. Mmmm

It’s Labor Day. The wife got the $ 1 off adult buffet breakfast coupon, so we thought we’d try them out. Arrived at 8am, along with a handful of other retirees(which we’re not, just like to get a jump on the day). Sign on the window: Come for the Labor Day breakfast, served until 11am. But the doors are locked. One person visible inside, but no food is set out, so they’re clearly NOT serving breakfast. Used my Unilocal app and called… they open at 9am. Really, 9am? I passed along the message to the two regulars standing next to us – who’s been assured by their regular server that there was a Labor Day breakfast — and the first comment was that’s only two hours for breakfast.(Guess they make a day of it?) Needless to say, a parade of silver-haired folk in white Buicks packed up and went to Golden Corral. Where breakfast starts at 8am on weekends… and Labor Day.
