Custom Cuts Construction

This is my second time with Custom Cuts. They just remodeled my kitchen and both my bathrooms and the outcome could not have been better. I would to give a bog thank you to Wes, Oscar, Jerry, Marcos, Alex, Chris Eddy, and subcontractor for tile work Brian.
What is just as important as the quality work, it is the integrity of Wes and his people. When Wes gives his word, he keeps it. There is no one better in the business.

We had a total kitchen and family room bar tear out and remodel. Cabinets were designed and made by Custom Cuts and we are very happy. Not the junk you get from China at box stores, or so called specialty designers. We would suggest you have a good idea of the design and function you want. If you don’t have a clue perhaps consult a designer. Wes (the owner) was attentive and informative to our questions, in addition to providing options as we progressed. I had to leave mid way through the project, while my wife stayed and managed it to conclusion. We had originally thought to sub out, cabinets, electrical and plumbing. Due to my having to be gone we decided a general contractor was a better alternative. Glad we did, cut the headaches in half. As Wes told us they were not the cheapest, but fulfilled the contractual agreement as signed. We had a couple of minor adjustments to be made after the completion of the project. Wes took care of them in a polite and timely manner. We love the kitchen inclusive of sliding drawer microwave, touch faucets, new ovens, stove, counter tops, back splashes, pullouts, under counter lighting and cabinets. Family, friends and neighbors (including two interior designers) have been very complimentary to the results. To date we are very pleased and would recommend Custom Cuts to friends and family. In the future we will be adding a pool house/​garage and are in hopes we can use this company again.

We hired Custom Cuts to build us a custom tiled shower and install tile flooring throughout our master bathroom. Because I wasn’t sure about choosing the tile, grout, accent strip and fixtures, Wes took me shopping for everything. I loved the experience because he made it so easy as we exchanged ideas. From there, our job was ready to begin. The first day, I was so impressed how the guys prepared my entry hall, the staircase, and the bedroom carpet. They even put up a thick plastic– like– door with a zipper closure to keep all the debris inside the master bathroom. Even with that, they always cleaned up. When our bathroom was completed, a cleaning company came out. They cleaned our bathroom, entire bedroom, vacuumed, etc. I didn’t have to do a thing. More importantly, the team from Custom Cuts were kind, caring and trustworthy and so easy to talk to. Each and everyone of them took pride in the work they did. And their work is amazing. They made our Master bathroom beautiful. The new tiled shower (thank you Brian!), bronze fixtures and a beautiful frameless glass shower door. Our new tiled flooring is beautiful… finished off with a frameless mirror closet doors which shows off the beauty of our bathroom. We love our new master bathroom. I stare at it all the time. I had a scheduled appointment at 10:00am which is what their office assistant «Stephanie» told me. I was running about 10 minutes late so I let their office know. I rushed from Oakland to Dublin for my appointment which was scheduled with «Wes» and as I’m getting to Dublin, I get a call from their office stating Wes will be there at 10:30am. I thought great, I was getting there before him and all was well.
Then, I get a call from Wes telling me that he’s running late and because he has «other appointments» after mine, he is going to have to reschedule me. I told him we had an appointment at 10:00am and then he tells me that I was given incorrect information because the appointment was an hour window from 10:00am-11:00am. If that’s the case then why did he need to cancel my appointment so that he could get to other appointments on time?
Wes didn’t seem to care about canceling this new business appointment and if that’s the way I’m being treated before contracting them, I can’t imagine how things would be if I actually hired them.
I told Wes, thanks but no thanks. Companies that do this kind of work are a dime a dozen, we have plenty to choose from and some will actually care about signing up new business.
It’s too bad, I was looking forward to having them build me an entertainment cabinet.

Custom Cuts did a great job! They built us a new fence and poured a new concrete patio for us in the back yard. They cleaned up after themselves and did a wonderful job. I will definitely use them again for future jobs.

Dan, Wes, and their team just completed a small remodel for us, adding a wall/​door/​closet to close in the 4^th bedroom in our house (which was left as an open ‘teen’ room option when the house was constructed). They were awesome. They estimated it would take about 2 weeks, but completed it in 1 week, to be sure it was ready in time before our baby was born. At each step of the process, they always completed each next step on or before they day they said it would be completed — from the initial walk through, to providing an estimate, to starting construction, to inspections, and final completion. This was our first experience with a contractor, but it was nice and seemed to contrast with stories you hear about contractors promising to have things done by a certain date or time, but being unreliable and always needing longer. And the work was great — we are very happy with how the room turned out. They designed the door and the end of the closet to sit at about a 40 degree angle relative to all the walls in the house, matching the style of the closet in one of the other bedrooms, and giving the resulting hallway a really nice shape and flow. Their entire team was very courteous and professional. Dan also worked with us respectfully to stay very near our budget goal, and when I realized I also wanted them to move a couple recessed lights over to be centered in the new hallway, Wes turned around an estimate and completed the additional electrical all in the same day. We would definitely go with Custom Cuts again in the future. Well done guys! And thanks!

Thanks to Dan and the cabinet crew at Custom Cuts. They built and installed our entertainment center and it turned out great. Dan was very helpful throughout the entire process and worked with my wife and I to make the design fit our family room space, He and the installation crew were very professional and took special care to make sure every thing was done right down to the last detail.
I would definitely hire them in the future for any construction project, And recommend them to any one that is looking for a dependable contractor to get the job done right.

I love C3! We had them put blinds on the windows throughout our house and they did a wonderful job. The staff is amazing as well, we wouldn’t go with any other contractor. Anything else we need done to our house will be done by C3!

We had a complete new kitchen remodel and they ruined our new kitchen. We had to contact the Construction State Licensing Board who sent industry experts to our home. They agreed with us that the quality of work Custom Cuts performed on our home was not up to industry standards. Custom Cuts was forced to pay us for damages to our home or else they would have lost their license. They also put a fraudulent mechanic’s lien on our home, but were forced to remove it or they would have been fined by the CSLB. We had to hire an attorney to help us remove the lien and defend ourselves from a lawsuit.

The entire crew at Custom Cuts Construction is amazing! They did an awesome job on a big project at our house and they were professional, clean, polite, and paid extra attention down to the smallest of details! They kept us updated throughout the entire project, answer any questions we had, and were accommodating with change requests on our end! We highly recommend them to anyone needing anything done!

Called and scheduled an appointment with them for consultation. Received my confirmation email immediately, then was totally forgot about. Got a sense from the employee that my smaller kitchen wasn’t worth the time or money. Very disappointed, but hey these companies are a dime a dozen.

You guys are one of the most professional construction company’s I’ve dealt with! Amazing job in my kitchen and crown molding… Never even felt as though I was having any work done in my home as I would get home in the evening and everything was spotless. You guys are my go to guys for any future work, and I would recommend anyone who needs anything done to give them a call!!!

These guys are pros. They replaced my front doors and did a complicated range hood re-​install that involved in designing a custom made cabinet. Everything went as expected, no surprises. unlike some of the other contractors that I’ve hired. Dan’s very knowledgeable and covered everything that I may expect from the start. Oscar paid a great deal of attention to details. Jerry built a nice custom cabinet for me and Wesley kept everything on time. Most importantly they made sure that I was satisfied with the result. It took about 3 weeks to complete the two projects, and overall it was a good experience. Custom Cuts is not the cheapest, but you get the difference back in the quality of work and service.

I would like to give a very big thank you to the entire custom cuts construction team. Custom Cuts Construction completed our entire kitchen remodel and completely remodeled our downstairs flooring. Included in our project was granite, backsplash, cabinet refinishing, new appliances, tile flooring (tile that looked like wood planks), wood flooring, tile around our fireplace and tons of other smaller items. They were extremely professional, took great care of our things, cleaned up after themselves everyday, guided us through our selection process and the installation process. They were detail oriented and took pride in doing a fantastic job. They even had professional cleaners clean up the work area at the end of the project. I feel so lucky to have found them and I highly recommend them to anyone! We have definitely found our go to construction team!

I want to thank custom cuts for a great job on helping me with a family that needed there kitchen exhaust corrected. We were called for a smell and smoke problem. When we arrived we found that the home was not installed with a exhaust system tied into the micro oven kitchen exhaust. We had to removed the microwave and top cabinet to install a new duct system. They came right away and removed the cabinet and modify it at there shop the same day. They came back the same day and re install the cabinet and microwave. This was a emergency due to they have new twin babies and the kitchen was needed asap. I’m glad they saw the issue and the impotence on the project for the new babies. I would highly recommend them

Hired C3 for a remodel of my new water store H2O To Go here in Tracy. They were Professional, Clean, Courteous and Completed work on time. It was a pleasure working with all of there staff/​crew. I would definitely use there services in the future and highly recommend them to everyone.

Small job, they replaced my boxed in kitchen lighting w/​led can lights, also added 2 drop lights over the bar. Ended up having to re-​texture ceiling, you can’t even tell there it was blended in. A+ job, I would use them again and would recommend A’s well.
