America’s Smog Test Only

Alex was very helpful, and accepted the Unilocal discount with no issues. He did say that the regular price for trucks and mini vans is $ 103, but gave me the discounted Unilocal rate $ 27.95+tax. Will definitely come back and highly recommend to my family and friends. I was in and out in 10 minutes.

My husband went there today 1÷26÷16 around 3:00 for a smog check to redeem this certificate coupon from Unilocal for $ 27.95 and states «Plus state certificate» but the guy who worked there did not want to bother to look at the redeeming coupon nor listen to my husband and charged an additional $ 8.00 anyway for the state certificate?! I know that it’s still is a fair price, but don’t show customers on Unilocal this deal & «half-​ass» honor it?! I had a great experience coming here with my own car last year, but the guy who worked there today didn’t seem to know anything. Your tricking your customers to come to you from Unilocal,but when you get there the prices are completely different!? Not to mention, we went there before on a Sunday 1÷17÷16 on open hours of operation and there was a sign on the door be back in 10min. We waited for 35min & their shop was still closed! Unless you take a hour lunch on hours of a shop that is open from 9 – 2 on a Sunday? You look on Unilocal and it shows «now open», uh apparently no they’re not! I definitely suggest customers to call in before going there!

Friendly employees willing to help, but $ 108 for a smog check with only one retest is ridiculous when the competition will do a test for $ 40 and unlimited retesting. They need to check their competition and look in the Penny Saver for the deal I found. The offer that Unilocal has will not cover the cost of the Smog Check. I used to recommend this place when a check cost $ 25 with a coupon, but never again.

So i come in here looking for a smog test for my 08 camry. I asked about the price that was stated online which was around $ 45. The guy there named Alexandru Durko says ok to the price. After 45 min, he ended up charging meabout $ 84 for the smog test and the certificate. I tried reasoning but he wouldn’t lower or budge and completely denied saying he agreed to the $ 45. Another customer walks in and he charged the guy $ 80, there was some tension between the two and then he gave a $ 20 discount to that customer. Why? I dont know. I’m never coming back here again.

Fast and my 380,000 mile truck passed, but why do I have to buy a gas cap every other year at smog time. I’m wondering how they test to see that you need a new gas cap. And why are trucks $ 10 – 15 more. Plus I had to pay extra to use a debit or credit card. Cost me $ 70 out the door.
