Had a phở there with my Vietnamese bb. Also order some spicy fried chicken it was so good!

I really want to like this place. Truthfully, I really want to find a phở place I really love. The search continues. Visited around noon on a Friday. It was pretty empty — only one other table of 4. We ordered both P1 as it has everything. Why not? The usual additions came out first — bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, lime wedges, jalapeño slices. They are very generous with these, so that was a good sign. Our bowls came out pretty quickly. As we were mixing our soups with all the additions we added, both of us noted right away that the block of noodles at the bottom was not breaking up easily. It was a brick. Then we found out why. We tasted the soup and it was luke warm. No wonder the noodles weren’t cooked — I doubt the broth was anywhere near boiling when added to the meats and noodles. It was so bad, we asked them to reheat our soups. The waitress suggested 2 minutes in the microwave? Sure, whatever. They came back out hot, which is what it should’ve been in the first place. By this time, the beans were not snappy and the noodles were mushy. Just bad. Given the praise here, I will probably visit again and see if this was an isolated bad meal. But I won’t be rushing back. Service was otherwise good. That earned a 2nd star.

Really good. Decent place to eat when I travel. Service is just enough. Not too pushy, but could use a little more personally. Food was good and priced right.

This is a great phở joint. Don’t be deterred because it appears to be in a Best Western in the middle of nowhere. I have tried as many phở places in and around Baltimore, and this is one of the best. They are quick, fast, and attentive. They have all the options and selections. Then they bring a hefty portion, full of meat, with broth that is flavorful and done right. That is exactly what a phở place should be. It is priced well and remains consistent.

I was sick and what is the best thing to eat when your sick? Phở! The phở was very good. I ordered Bön Hue and I told them to make it spicy which they did. They are on the pricey side but I guess phở is supposed to be on the pricey side. I also ordered Thai tea. When I am sick I know where to go

I used to be a big fan of this place, but I swear the portion sizes have been cut by 1⁄3 from what they were when I started going here. I always get the beef phở and my husband, who is not an adventurous eater, opts for beef and broccoli. Neither is worth writing home about, but my options in Towson for real phở are limited. Having lived in Denver and having real Vietnamese food on every corner, this place just doesn’t do it for me anymore. Between the portion sizes and the food quality, we will try elsewhere from now on.

I am very disappointed about my recent take out order. I order the 5 ct spring roll, which is something very simple and good. I have order spring roll from here before and it was good. Spring roll is usually made with rice wrapper, filled with shrimp, lean pork, noodles, and some veggies. The spring rolls I got this time were filled shrimp, mostly lettuce and one or two pieces of noodle. Where is the lean pork and the noodles? I made a complain about the quality of my spring roll and how the quality of these spring roll isn’t even worth the $ 8 I paid. They told me that they stop putting lean pork in for a while now. The place is good, but they have gone cheap. The quality of the spring roll was definitely not worth the price I paid. Highly disappointed.

Although this place is attached to a best western, it is a great place to eat. The phở is more on the expensive side compared to the other locations in the Baltimore area. They give you a good portion of meat and the soup tastes great. I ordered the p8, which I would recommend l.

Staff was friendly and the food was good. Service was quick. The broth is well seasoned and flavorful in their Phở.

Went here for bubble tea. I got the honeydew flavor. They also had mango, coconut and one other flavor. Came in a cup with plastic sealed top so looked prepackaged and was frozen. I’d never had frozen bubble tea before. It was like smoothie and slushie or combo. The taste was very good though almost like eating real honeydew because the thing was 90% solid. Even the tapioca bubbles were frozen. FYI It was $ 5.30. Service was ok. Place is good looking and clean.

This was my first experience having Phở. I can’t say that it lived up to all the hype that I have heard about how wonderful it is, but it is pretty good. Had I not heard any rave reviews about Phở, then I would not have had high expectations to begin with and this would have been great. However, I probably would not have ordered it to begin with. Either way, I ordered the phở and it was good, so 4 stars it is! This restaurant is located on the first floor of a Towson hotel and the location is odd, but the service is quick and friendly. I was at a conference at the hotel and many people left for lunch, but this was convenient and I also wanted to try Phở. After a quick search on Unilocal,I saw that it had a lot of good reviews, so I decided to try it out. I saw a lot of people comment on their delicious shakes, but they add sugar to the fruit, so I skipped that. The waitress brought a plate with bean sprouts and some leaves and I didn’t know what to do with it. My cousin told me it all goes into the bowl of soup and then you eat it together. There were so many bean sprouts that I couldn’t fit it all in the bowl, but I got most of it in there. I added some sriracha(probably too much) and it was nice and spicy. I ordered the regular size bowl and it was more than enough.

You can’t get any better than this place. I would highly suggest P8 phở and the charbroiled shrimp vermicelli, as well as their thai iced tea. It hits the spot EVERY time!

Never have I ever had food this good from a place attached to a hotel. In fact, it’s the same place that hosts the hotel’s breakfast in the morning. How crazy is that? I remember first pulling up to Best Western and seeing a phở restaurant right next to it. I love phở. It’s one of those foods you can eat when it’s bad and it’s still pretty good, like pizza. I headed in one day and ordered a sweet pork and steak dish. It was so good I ordered it two more times during my stay. I got to enjoy the Phở Tai, Gan(rare steak and tendon), Com Suon Thit Bo Nuong(grilled pork chop and beef with steamed rice), and the Com Suon Nuong Dai Han(Korean BBQ with steamed rice). All were great. The service consisted of a few teenage girls. They were shy, but they did a good job! Of course, the phở was phở and phở is always amazing! Fresh items and good broth make for the best phở. I even ate the bean sprouts and I can’t stand them! What really makes this place are the bubble drinks. Sihn To Bo, Mit, Thom, and Xoai(avocado, jack fruit, pinapple, and mango). Each were delicious and I couldn’t drink them fast enough… Brain freeze. ^_^’ Got to enjoy some mango and raspberry mochi for dessert, too. I even convinced a super picky eater to try some! Don’t overlook Towson Phở and Bar because of where it’s situated. The food and drinks are crazy good and so is the service. Next time I’m in town, I’m taking as many pictures as I can! Love this place!

Just want to give a shout out to Kenny! Not only does he know his phở, but he is also is a fantastic businessman. Ok, so back on topic. The Phở here is pretty dawg-gone good. The meat here is cut a little bit thicker than traditional phở places, but I am not complaining. The service here is also pretty decent. I wish that this place was detached from the hotel to distinguish itself from the hotel business. The egg rolls here are only ok… I feel that it needs a bit more work to be great. I have not gotten anything else other than the phở and eggrolls here. BTW They sell Raven beer here. Soooo goood…

Believe it or not, this inconspicuous restaurant in the Best Western is going to be your best Phở place in area. They have a bar connected to the lobby which is very important for any traveling guest. And then they have a separate restaurant area that has a cute little area with a few screens and then also a larger area that can fit bigger parties. The meat is pretty impressive and you should ask for extra cilantro and lime(and vegetables if you like that kinda of stuff). The soup is a little on the sweet side compared to my favorite Virginia Phở restaurants but this place is legit. The vegetable broth phở isn’t as exciting and I wish the pork chops weren’t the char sui red style but it’s still delicious and I’m just being critical because I have nothing else to complain about :-)

Was in Towson for the afternoon with some friends and decided to check out this phở place. We ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer which were perfectly fried: crispy on the outside, so juicy and tender on the inside. The sauce, although it didn’t smell great because of this fish sauce, was really tasty. I ordered the #1 Phở with everything. The large bowl was ginormous with lots of yummy broth, plenty of noodles, and lots of delicious meat. Despite the mixed reviews from other reviewers about the phở, I thought it had great flavor and really hit the spot! As others have said, service was great and our dishes came out super quick.

The Bo vien phở was flavorful. It was $ 2 over what a pay in virginia but maybe because it’s inside of a hotel(Best Western). I would return again if I have a taste for Phở. Highlight– Tom Rang Muoi aka salted shrimp. It’s empty around lunch so you can miss a rush. Con– cha gio was fried perfectly with an odd filling.

Phở Towson & Bar is located on the bottom floor of a hotel and the ambiance inside the restaurant isn’t bad. It’s well decorated, clean, and looks up to date. Great service but IMO the phở was a bit lacking in flavor. The broth was passable but not great. I ordered a 9 or 11? It had flank, brisket, but no tripe. The meat was a bit tough and the fat on it was way too chewy. I had to pull it out of my phở and attempt to rip it off the meat– it was as tough as rubber! The side of onions comes on a plate and I could come back… if I was in the area.

Got spring rolls and a giant bowl of phở to split with my girlfriend. Spring rolls are very tasty and unlike many other similar restaurants, they are generous with the peanut dipping sauce! Quite tasty. The phở is large and generous and warms you through. The broth wasn’t bad, but I’ve definitely had better, richer broths elsewhere. More than any other phở place this joint has SUPERPROMPTSERVICE. Our waitress was friendly and quick with the drinks and the Phở was out in less than five minutes after our ordering! When I’m up in Parkville, this is going to be my place to visit for phở and other Vietnamese food.

Restaurant in a hotel. Ok. No big deal. There seemed to be a decent amount of people eating, so its a good sign, right? I ordered some phở and it was good, but it wasn’t great. It satisfied my craving, but it also gave me a weird headache afterwards and overall feeling kinda ill. I suspect MSG. Service was eh, nothing spectacular in that department. Restaurant seemed to be clean and well kept. Will satisfy my phở cravings elsewhere from now on.
