I just had Robyn, of Blue Egg Photography do my daughter’s newborn photography. I found her via Facebook, and believe this is her main way of correspondence: . I scheduled the photo shoot with Robyn about a month prior to my little darling’s arrival. Robyn made sure to check in with me a few days before our scheduled shoot day to make sure we were still on for the shoot. She sent me an email with thorough instructions on how to make the shoot a success. She did the shoot at our house, which I really liked because with my daughter only being 5 days old, we didn’t have to leave the house. We were instructed to make sure our baby was kept awake an hour before her arrival, that her tummy was full, and that our house temp was set to 80 degrees. Yes, 80, but trust me when I say this is what made the shoot a success. Newborn photos are taken with the baby pretty much naked the entire shoot, and without a warm house, the baby is not happy! She also brought along a space heater that helped keep my little one warm doing the shoot. The entire shoot took about 3 hours, which I think is pretty standard for newborn photos. Watching her pose my baby perfectly and change out the different blankets and props really gave me a lot of respect for newborn photographers! She was very patient and so nice! She had a preview sneak peak photo posted on Facebook within a day of the shoot, and the rest of my photos ready for me exactly one week later. I really appreciated how fast and professional she was! The photos turned out beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier. I was able to order and download all of my photos online, which was really convenient. She also provided me with an awesome personalized mobile app that has all of my baby’s photos on it. I have never heard of this before, and it’s really cool that I can just click on my app to show off all my photos to friends. I may be partial because I think I have the most beautiful baby, but she did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier!
