Great food and good to know I’m supporting a local business. Owners and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious both breakfast and lunch!

I was sassed by the hostess and the line cook when I walked in and asked for a pork roll, egg, cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup, hash brown. Not only was I informed that a breakfast spot doesn’t offer hash browns or home fries, I received my sandwich with no salt, pepper, or ketchup. And a giant snot on my bagel. I wish I could give 0 stars because in keeping with the tacky 90s renovation, this place is terribly crap.

Best Muffins Ever! After a long period of being closed for renovations, I was quite happy to see they had reopened the doors this week! Stopped in to check out the new are and it’s much more spacious inside and nicely done. The bagels are good and the muffins are really, really good! Glad to see them back up and running!

They never get the order right. If you call ahead and place an order it takes forever. i don’t go here for quality, it’s just for convenience because it’s by my office. This is the kind of place that only cuts your sandwich half way so you are forced to tug and rip the bottom half. I never understood why a place would do that. That really is a peeve of mine. Plus the place is filthy.

This place always gets my order right and it’s always fresh and hot. No matter what it is breakfast or lunch, always helpful and great staff… would recommend this bagel place to anyone

I have come in only a few times but it seems pricey to get just eggs and bacon sandwich for almost $ 6 bucks. Also the service, when you are not being ignored for their regular customers, is rushed and almost rude. Last they never get my order right. I would rather drive a little further to LA Cocina or DD.

They get 2 stars because I love their muffins. I got there 1 or 2 per weeks to pick up a dozen muffins for my team and they are always great; the employees are less than geniuses but I can deal with that. However, for the past few weeks it’s been so busy that I don’t have time to drive there so I have called and asked for a delivery 5 TIMES and got 5 different excuses; we are very busy, we don’t have a driver, bad weather, we only deliver Monday through Friday. If you don’t deliver don’t advertise that you do. LYING to a customer who spends over $ 100 per week on muffins alone in your store is not the greatest idea. I’m in this office of 236 people for only a few months and was told that the food is NOT great and neither is the service but I took a chance and loved it. It’s a shame they don’t know the value of integrity.

Stopped in this morning. The place isn’t anything to look at but the food is fresh and the guy at the counter was very nice! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m driving through.

I’ve been going here for years and every time the food is great… By far my favorite bagels around! I pick up bagels for work every week… Everyone loves them!

I live in Randolph Nj… I don’t care about the 40 minute drive. The service and bagels this shop provides is absolutely great. Definitely somewhere I’d take my family members. The staff is humorous and pleasant. Definitely recommend going. Prices aren’t bad. Go go go!!!

Stopped here after a night out in NYC. French toast bagel is very plain but maybe that’s all my stomach could have handled. California wrap was delicious but nothing I couldn’t have made myself. In the end I wouldn’t be upset if I had to eat here again but if panera is down the road just go there!

This place is awesome! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and the sandwiches are always yummy. You need to try the macaroni salad its SOOO good. Moe, the owner, is the best! I recommend the california wrap, a tuna sandwich or the breakfast sandwich. Also, they have a variety of bagels.

If you are thinking of opening a bagel shop, come here to learn what NOT to do. This place is horrible. The girl behind the counter has an inability to LISTEN to a customer’s order. Her manager glares at you like a drunken corpse. The shrink wrapped cream cheeses — a limited selection — look pathetic. And the bagels aren’t real bagels; they should be called rolls. I’m left wondering how these people operate a meat slicer without losing fingers. Sorry Sam I Am: never again. Absolutely terrible.

I had always had a great bagel here… On my last visit, a Saturday Morning, I had the freshest, tastiest, bagel I have ever had. Fresh out of the oven it was so warm, and soft, and OMG
I got my usual, bacon and egg on the bagel and it was pretty great as well. Thick cut bacon, and plenty of it! AHHHH I am so hungry now! Eat here!

Terrible experience. We use this place occasionally to order a number of breakfast sandwiches on weekends. They mess the order up every time. Today was the last time I would be ordering from this place. I happened to open up my sandwich to inspect that it was mine and I found hair in the sandwich. I was disgusted. When I called to complain about the order, the only thing the manager could say was «we never have heard of a problem like this». I told him, I’m not looking for free food, I’m just letting you know that were done ordering from this place. It’s always dirty when you go in, but we always gave it the benefit do the doubt. Not anymore.

Something must have changed since these negative reviews were written. I was just there today, and it wasn’t dirty at all. It’s a nice place to sit and read the paper — it’s just small, and noisy. But what bagel place isnt? More importantly, they make the best bagels in totowa. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, with a bunch of toppings to choose from. I’ve tried Brooklyn bagel, and it’s ok. This place is just a little better.

Since posting this review, the quality of this bagel place has declined. A few times I’ve made orders for pick up and they made some ghastly mistakes. The service has become unbearably slow. And the bagels, while good for the area, aren’t good enough to put up with the poor treatment.

Went there for a bagel… the guy who made it didn’t have gloves on and I looked at another guy making a bagel for someone else and he had a glove on one hand– not the hand he was making the food with! This is how people get sick! How do I know you are washing your hands?!

Stopped there last week for a Reuben and it wasn’t a «wow» Reuben but it wasn’t bad… so today went to grab a quick and simple ham & cheese sandwich on rye with just mayo, well what an experience… the older guy made it (I’m assuming he’s the owner) forgot one little thing to take the wrapper off the ham… now this is not one little piece, this was the entire ham, strings and stings and stings of plastic in that sandwich, now as an owner wouldn’t you say that these little details should be noticed? Last time for me!!!

I went there this morning & ordered a bagel with cream cheese. .kid behind the counter says «you want coffee with that? «I said no thanks, he then says «c’mon, spend some more money! «I don’t think I’ll be spending any more there…

The only thing worth going there for is the Gold’s Gym meal. I get this on a regular basis but agree with most with the inconsistent pricing. I always feel like I pay a different price when I order several things. Today I ordered the same as usual and it was the worst thing ever. Got home, opened the container and found burnt chicken and burnt potatoes (see picture posted). TERRIBLE. This was cooked by what I believe is one of the owners. The service there sucks but the food can be OK when made right. Bagels aren’t half bad but nothing to rave about.
Make sure you go there on the right day at the right time in order to get quality food.
