History

Established in 1995.

The Donut Station, Inc. began in 1990 as Bess Eaton Donuts. When the corporation in Rhode Island went bankrupt in 1995, the name of the store changed to The Donut Station. We have been here ever since. We have added many new products over the years and continue to please our customers. Last year, 2012, we added an outdoor patio onto the store. There are more plans for 2013.

The Cold Sholder Ice Cream Shoppe… where the only thing missing is «U» opened in early July 2013. We carry Gifford’s ice cream and flavors from a small ice cream shop in Prospect, CT. Come sit outside and enjoy your treat.

I work right down the street from here and stop for my coffee almost every monring. Its better than DAndD and the girls are sweet! Pauly is awsome too. Breakfast sandwichs are on spot if ur hungry and the donuts well it is called the donut staiton lol :)

This place has been open since I can remember so that usually means it’s got to be good. Well let’s break it down. The people that work here look like they hate their lives. I’m not joking, looks like if you say something wrong, they’ll stab you haha. I’ve actually never been inside, only drive thru a few times so I can’t tell you how it looks in there. I’ve tried to order a maple frosted doughnut a few times. I’ve never actually gotten one. 0 – 4 on that one when opening the bag and recieving a different doughnut besides that. Apparently this place has the best coffee but I don’t like coffee so that’s out of the picture and they sell cigarettes but I don’t smoke so that’s out of the picture. I had an eggs sausage and cheese croissant sandwich and it was great, plus let’s be honest, it looked sexy for a sandwich. It actually looks better than most women do now a days. Anyways the drive thru is decently quick and you will probably get that maple frosted doughnut so you decide. Anything is better than dunkin donuts in my opinion.

On the plus side, you can buy a $ 28 bus ticket to NYC at the Donut Station. Or order cigarettes and coffee at the drive-​thru. Ah, morning routines.
This place is a cultural relic. Another location-​specific pull, nothing more. If you need your donuts and your cigarettes all at the same time, then the Donut Station is your place.
