Nice little spot to grab a bite and some Joe. I had the Texas French Toast and a large coffee. The food was really good and nice size portion and the coffee was really good. Service was a little slow but there was only the one lady taking care of everything. She was very nice and apologized for the wait. A couple of locals had their dog in sitting next to me and they too were nice as pie.

Great coffee, great food, great little place. We spent a few minutes this morning contemplating a place to go for breakfast, once I remembered Angie’s we knew exactly where to go. It’s comfortable and its quality, a perfect fit for us today. I’ve been here a few times and I’ll keep coming — it just makes me happy.

Best breakfast! Best atmosphere! Very friendly place and the food is amazing!!! Her specials are my favorite and I always try to try something new. But on Sunday’s she has the best cornbeef hash & also sausage biscuits & gravy. Always a hard choice in my opinion!

Great breakfast spot. Friendly employees. Everything is better that you would expect from your standard diner. Omelettes are excellent. It is a small location and mostly counter seats but there are usually some free spots. I would definitely recommend if you are visiting the area.

Disappointed. 2 people already served and no other patrons yet waited 20 minutes for an omelette from the specials board. Told it would take longer so we paid for food never served and left. Waitress was unconcerned and bordering on snotty.

Lots of food! One of the best mom and pop breakfast joints I’ve been to in CT. Not much seating but it fits the environment for a welcoming place.

This little spot has had a couple of different coffee shops in and out in recent years. I was sceptic as is my nature. My recent breakfast here was very good, the service was good as well. Though not overly friendly(seemingly typical of the youngest generation of customer service professionals), the waitress was attentive and accurate. I believe it was Angie cooking who made an appearance to check on everyone. Great! Its a small place with mostly countrr seating. A couple of locals were there talking as only locals can. My kind of place. Prob my new fav local breakfast spot!

Visiting from California and came across this place on Unilocal. This is definitely a locals joint for breakfast. If you don’t like sitting next to strangers then this is not the place for you. If you want to get up close to the locals then grab a seat at the counter(that’s all there is) and expect to chat to the person next to you the entire time you eat a yummy breakfast. Young lady behind the counter was great with everyone. And remember, don’t tap on the glass, it scares the donuts. You’ll know what I mean when you see it.

Paid the mortgage across the street at the credit union. My 16 year old vulture son and I were hungry. I’ve seen the place but haven’t had the opportunity to stop in. Very glad we did! A REAL breakfast in town. About time! What a breakfast place should be like. Friendly service and a good breakfast. You get your money’s worth. And it’s good. Not just edible like most joints in ttown. good food.Hope they have a prosperous business and will be looking forward to frequenting them more often!

Went in with my family as part of the T-Town cash mob, and this place serves excellent breakfast food! The wait was a bit long, but there were quite a bit of people in there so I don’t find this bad. The waitress was very friendly and engaging. Not too bad either cost-wise for the food you get. TL;DR: Great food, great atmosphere, good value.

Needed a quick bite in unfamiliar territory — used Unilocal and found this gem. Excellent breakfast sandwich. Super nice people!

It is very nice to have a good local coffee shop making real, actually cooked on the premises food! Angie’s serves real eggs that have been near a chickens hind quarters, not the frozen microwaved factory pseudo egg product that you get at the giant corporate coffe shop. Angie’s staff is very friendly and efficient, the food is fresh and delicious and is a great value. the omelette and home frys are amazing! I’m pretty sure I will be a regular here, Thanks Angie!

I went in there, the staff were very friendly. The food was great. I had a turkey melt, expecting some cold cut turkey with cheese. Got some thick slices of good turkey, with a slide of good slaw(I’m picky about my slaw)
