History

Established in 1983.

Dr. Roger L. Gillespie has been practicing dentistry in his modern, state of the art office in Torrance, California since 2000. He has been in private practice in the South Bay since he graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1983. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1977, graduating with the honor of Great Distinction from CSUDH.

After graduating from UCLA, Dr. Gillespie started his own private practice. He also spent one day a week working at the Newport Beach Children’s Dental Center (for 6 years) which serves under privileged children. He has been a practicing dentist in the South Bay for 30 years. He enjoys doing cosmetic, restorative, preventive and implant dentistry. He is especially adept at using the Biolase Waterlase hard tissue laser which can perform many dental procedures without the use of dental anesthesia. Dr. Gillespie was one of the first dentists to employ this technology in 2000 and feels that this has been a breakthrough in comfortable patient care as well as achieving high quality results.
