Terrible experience. Ran into the Son when he was at Long Beach Dental Arts. Look up that office. Daryn replaced an existing front crown that was aged. It was the easiest process, but it was fouled up. He ground the post to cause a painful root canal then announced it didn’t need a root canal. My new tooth was in place and a month later the symptoms started with headaches. It was then determined that I needed a root canal. So after spending $ 800 on a crown that needed to be drilled through for the root canal I have to pay for another crown. What a waste. I hope he doesn’t take the practice he learned from his previous dental office to his fathers’ customers

After my former dentist whose office was ONLY 2 minutes away from my house passed away, I asked a reliable source (a dental technician who I learned «sees» the behind-​the-​scene work of MANY dentists) if she could recommend a really good dentist for me and her enthusiastic response was, «Yes, Dr. Nishikawa!!!» Well, about 10 years later, I’m still making the 30 – 40 minute drive to Drs. Richard and Daryn’s office.
They are both thorough and gentle in their work. I have had other work done besides teeth cleaning and I have to say that I don’t remember too much about these procedures other than the problem was resolved, which I think is the biggest compliment for a dentist!
Finally, they are extremely knowledgeable and provide trustworthy dental care advice, patient, and courteous to both the patient and to their own staff. Their staff, in turn, are genuinely pleasant and great to work with as well! They are open on SATURDAYS too!!! #5+yelpstars

I have been going to Dr. Nishikawa for 25 years. He is a terrific dentist. Having moved farther away, I now drive over an hour to see him. I still refuse to see any other dentist. He has never pressed for unnecessary procedures and always explains his plan of care to me with patience.

I was fortunate enough to find out about Dr. Nishikawa’s practice through one of my family members. After my first visit, I knew I would be returning for any future dental needs. I’ve gotten a wisdom tooth removed, regular cleanings, and various fillings with them and each visit has been amazing. Every member of their staff clearly cares about their patients and I always feel welcome and comfortable.

I have been going to Dr. Nishikawa for about 10 years and would highly recommend his practice. The office staff is friendly and helpful and has all the latest high tech dental equipment for easy diagnosis. Dr. Nishikawa’s skill and compassion are the best in the business. I feel completely at ease and have even fallen asleep while having a procedure done because of the professionalism and comfort Dr. Nishikawa and his staff provide. I have complete confidence in the care I receive in this office and have never been disappointed!

Dr Nishikawa and his staff are so warm and welcoming. Have been here for close to 10 years now. Everything is explained to me so I fully understand the procedure. I’ve seen his son, as well, and from what I experienced with him, the apple doesn’t fall to far from the tree. His daughter in law, Daryn’s wife, Dr. Camille is my children’s favorite. My son had such a horrendous experience in another office and with Camille’s gentle, caring nature he is always excited to see her. I would highly recommend this family practice to friends and family… and I have!

Dr. Nishikawa and his whole staff are hands down the best. The paperwork was taken care of easily and quickly. As one who doesn’t like dentists in general, Dr. Nishikawa is very gentle and easy going and makes his patients feel comfortable.
