Nicholas M. Halikis, MD is a fellowship-trained, board certified orthopedic doctor and surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, and upper extremity care. This includes treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, cysts, pinched or trapped nerves, complex fracture reconstruction, contractures, and more.
Dr. Halikis treats athletes and non-athletes. He uses non-surgical and surgical treatments, only proceeding with a plan of care after a thorough investigation of each patient’s health history and current orthopedic issue. He recommends surgery only when appropriate.
He completed his Fellowship at the prestigious University of Florida-Shands Hospital and has been practicing since 1992. He lives and practices in the South Bay area near Los Angeles.

Torrance Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Group is comprised of eight board certified orthopaedic surgeons specializing in surgery of the hand, elbow, spine, foot, ankle, shoulder, and knee.
We perform minimally invasive total joint replacements, hip arthroscopy, and fracture care. We offer treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, such as sprains, strains, tendon ruptures, and many types of fractures. There is a dedicated spine specialist and a dedicated hand specialist at the practice.
TOSMG has a fully staffed physical and hand therapy department as well as aquatic therapy for our patients. We also offer on-site, state-of-the-art OPEN-MRI testing in a peaceful and relaxed environment. We offer same-day appointments and take all the major PPO insurance contracts. Our dedicated focus is passionately pursuing our patients’ health and returning them to a full and active lifestyle.
