I love how direct Dr Swanson was during my initial consult. She doesn’t push any services on you and she definitely won’t do procedures that you are not a good candidate before– my favorite aspect of my initial visit.
I think she is awesome– prices reasonable and although all those groupon and living social deals are tempting I would rather pay full prices and go to her office.
Oh and I got Botox for first service. Painless and effective and lasted until my next visit (8 – 10 weeks). Will update my review if I get something else.

I just had smart lipo on my abdomen last Friday and I have my last session for my back, sides and bra rolls tomorrow. I was very nervous going in last week but the team Dr Swanson has is amazing. They put you at ease and Dr Swanson explains what will happen and what to expect during the procedure. There was no pain and I was completely relaxed. She talked to me throughout the procedure to make sure I was comfortable and called the next day to make sure I was ok. Can’t wait for tomorrow!

From the moment of checking in for a consultation, to surgery day, to the post op visits, Dr. Swanson and her magnificent staff were outstanding. I have been contemplating for over 6 years to get a «Mommy Makeover» and having it done with Dr. Swanson was the best decision I could have made. During my consultation she was attentive and made sure to understand my problem areas and concerns. All my questions were answered from pre-​op precautions to surgery day procedures to post op care.
The day of surgery was so smooth and the OR staff made me feel so comfortable and less tense. All procedures were thoroughly explained and even tips on how to care for myself (showering) after surgery were recommended by the OR nurse. (Which was VERY helpful). The anesthesiologist was very concerned on my aftercare since I do not do well coming out of recovery. She made sure I was well taken care of and did the best she could to make sure I was alert and cognitive.
The OR nurse and OR Tech were amazing! They were constantly by my side making sure my vitals were normalized and stable. They both are a great team to have on your side when waking up from surgery.
I could not be happier of my results after surgery. I feel more confident, and my body looks AMAZING. I am so pleased with my results and the whole process.
I would definitely recommend a person looking for a «Mommy Makeover» to Dr. Swanson. She understands what you are looking for and trying to achieve.

I had a consult with Dr. Swanson and was thoroughly impressed. Initially I thought she was not the warmest doctor, but as our consult progressed, I appreciated her no nonsense approach. What I valued most about Dr. Swanson was her INTEGRITY. She gave me her truthful opinion about what needed to be done and advised me against procedures that I did not need. On the contrary, other cosmetic surgeons I consulted were happy to go along with all the unnecessary fixes I brought up.
Clearly, Dr. Swanson function at a high moral compass and does what is best for the patient. I highly recommend her.

If you want someone with the personality of a car salesman, she is not for you. If you want someone who is straight forward and honest with her abilities, she is one of the best.
I went to her after seeing one of my closest friends get great results from her. I went in for a consult for some lipo and a tummy tuck. She did not try to convince me that I needed any more than what I went in for. She was very honest in letting me know ahead of time that lipo on my upper back (hump) might not show that much of a difference. (By the way, we were both surprised and happy that it came out great.) She always addressed all of my concerns post-​op.
Her office staff is very friendly and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes during an appointment.

Dr. Swanson did my breast augmentation. Wow, hard to believe 11 years ago. I still have the same implants and they look amazing! My boyfriend had no idea they were fake until I told him. That was after many intimate encounters. Haha! Surgery is scary, but you can trust Dr. Swanson and her team will get you the results you want and see you through, even 11 years later.

Words cannot explain how much I love Dr. Swanson and how grateful I am for all that she has done for me and my daughter…
Let me explain…
I was referred to Dr. Swanson to correct a few issues that I had. One of them was my left breast, as I’d had 4 surgeries on that breast due to lumps and cysts. Luckily for me, none of it was cancerous, but I have been required to get mammograms for several years, which at my age is generally unheard of. Dr. Swanson was able to correct many of the problems and the scaring that I had as a result of those surgeries. I still have some scaring, but I look a lot better than I initially did, as it left me very self-​conscious. I also lost a lot of weight…135 pounds and Dr. Swanson helped me with some of the leftovers from that. I am still losing weight, but the bulk of my weight is gone, so I chose to have it all taken care of at the same time. Thank goodness I didn’t need implants, as I am a 38DDD, so she only had to make corrections.
Dr. Swanson was very professional and relaxed and it helped me to relax, as any elective surgery is nerve-​racking. She gives a free consultation, which is great, as some plastic surgeons charge for the initial consult. On the day of surgery, it was a staff of just women. The anesthesiologist was amazing! She and I talked before the surgery and she went through my history and all that and then we just started to chit-​chat in general. It was amazing to hear her story and I felt privileged to have her working on me that day. She clearly knew her shit and I was more than impressed by her!
My nurse Tiffany was another one that I connected with. She was equally as amazing and very helpful. When I walked into the surgical suite, I wanted to run, but only because I was a bit scared. I asked myself, «Can I continue to live with these things or am I tired of it?» I finally realized that I have the opportunity to correct these issues and I am going for it. I got up on the table and was surprised that the sheets and blanket were warm! I did not expect that, at all! Surgery didn’t seem to take long and when I woke up, I felt fine. My only gripe was that I wasn’t in control of myself, but I knew that that was because of the drugs and that once they wore off, I’d be able to walk and see straight.
After surgery, she called me at home to check on me and over the next week, I saw her 3 – 4 times. There was no, «have surgery and see you in a month» type of situation… I saw her at least twice a week, if not more. I loved that she was hands on and consistently saw you and checked on you. If I had any problems or worry, I was able to call and go right in that day. I had the after hours number if I needed her, as well. My pain level was good. I know that that is the big question, but I will tell you like this… I was on percocet for the first 4 days and after that, I only took it at night and would take Tylenol during the day. Does that help you understand? My pain level wasn’t bad at all and I even drove myself to my appointment a couple days later. But… I have a truck, so it was easy to get in and out. If you have a low car, you may experience more discomfort, so just be careful. I saw the results of my surgery instantly and as the swelling went down, it looked better and better. Today, I still have some swelling, but it’s getting better everyday. I am extremely happy with my results and I have no complaints or issues whatsoever.
Debbie, the office manager is fantastic! The two receptionists, Dani and Ari are equally as wonderful! They are always friendly, approachable, and not stuck up, at all. I’ve been to other offices in the past and front desk people were awful snooty bitches and if you’ve ever been to a plastic surgeons office before, you generally know what I’m talking about! You won’t encounter that here. I am HUGE when it comes to customer service, especially when I’m paying an arm and a leg and a DNA sample for elective surgery. Here’s the thing… I have no problem paying that to a place that treats me like a human being and like they’re glad that I’m there. I’ll be damned I pay for a service at a place that makes me feel like shit! I’m going to find fat to suck, so I can continue to come see her, as she is AAAAHHHMMAZINGGGGGG!
Now for my daughter… my 7-​year old had a freak accident in the house, tripped and fell and slashed her face open on a speaker. Rushed to Kaiser, they stitched her up and I made an appointment the next day with Dr. Swanson. I wanted to make sure that the stitch was okay and that it looked good. Dr. Swanson examined her and said she’s see her again in two days. She took a few of the stitches out yesterday and steri-​stripped another area and said she’s see her back on Friday. Once she’s healed, then we are going to start scar treatment. This is what I mean about her… she did not have to do that. I am speechless in trying to even describe how much that meant to me. She’s amazing!!!

I learned of Dr. Linda Swanson through a friend of mine. She worked as a nurse in Dr. Swansons office. She actually ended up being my nurse during my procedure (breast augmentation).
I was very nervous about getting plastic surgery done, as I’ve never had anything done like it before. But when I went in to a consultation with Dr. Swanson, she put me at ease right away. She was very professional and honest. Her work was very precise and was done very well. I’m very pleased with the results and my breasts look and feel very natural. I’m extremely happy with my decision to have had work done. Best thing I could have done for myself and I’m very happy with Dr. Swansons work. I would recommend her to anyone. She and her staff and GREAT!

This review is for the services that Dr. Swanson did not perform. Yes, that’s correct. I’m writing a review for the services that were not given to me. Let’s back up… shall we?
To preface, I’m a 27-​year-​old registered nurse who is getting married in a few months. I came to Dr. Swanson not for her personality or bedside manner or swanky office, I came to Dr. Swanson for her record: she is very good at what she does. I was very nervous and pretty sensitive about talking about plastic surgery (aren’t we all?), but everyone in the office was very non-​judgmental about the whole process.
Dr. Swanson was courteous and professional with me– if you find a surgeon with excellent bedside manner, run the other way because the excellent ones usually just don’t have it. She was very frank and told me that there really wasn’t a lot of fat tissue to remove, but if I wanted the liposuction procedure done, she’d do it. She also told me that she tends to «go on the conservative side», meaning that she’d rather take off too little than too much. This may seem frustrating to most lay-​people, but they can easily understand why it’s a good idea: you can always trim more, you can never trim less once it’s gone.
I talked with the nurse office manager about billing. Her prices are reasonable & probably better than what you’d find in Beverly Hills adjacent. She answered the remaining questions I had and gave me her card. Sensing I was still wary on the subject, she told me to go home and think it over. Ultimately I decided that surgery isn’t right for me. I was impressed that the RN followed up with me the next day. I told her no thanks, and she asked me to give her a call if I changed my mind. That was it. No harassing phone calls or emails. I received a follow-​up email survey on patient satisfaction to complete at my discretion, and that was it.
Honestly, I couldn’t have picked a better surgeon. My family member continues to go to her for Botox injections, and the results look completely natural. (I actually didn’t know she was seeing a plastic surgeon until I asked for a referral.) So, if you’re going for the OC housewives look, consider someone else to compliment your spray-​tan. But if you’d like a plastic surgeon to tastefully enhance your body parts, you can trust Dr. Swanson’s team.

Had breast implants done by Dr. Swanson, she is so nice and easy to talk to, gave me exactly what I wanted, I couldn’t be more happy, class act!

I couldn’t have picked a worse plastic surgeon. If you are interested in removing your breast implants, she is not the doctor for you!
She botched up my breast removal. I had to pay a reconstructive plastic surgeon to fix her awful work. Very strange personality as well.

Well organized and professional staff. I chose Dr Swanson bc her patients speak highly of her and her work looks very natural. I’ve been A+ satisfied by her treatment and her results.

I was very happy with my eyelid surgery. Dr Swanson was very good with follow-​up and made me feel better when I was feeling like the results were too slow. The upper eyes heal very fast, the bottoms take a good three months for swelling to completely go down. The overall result was so worth it.

I decided to get breast implants from Dr. Swanson after years of looking at different portfolios of plastic surgeons. Her work was the most consistent and every case was a huge improvement. I’ve known 3 other women that have had implants by her and they are the best, natural looking that I have ever seen. I wanted to look like I had been born with perfect boobs and not like I bought big fake boobs. To me, a surgeons skill and care of my body is the only thing I am concerned about, not their bedside manner or people skills so I won’t even talk about it as I think it has no bearing on how you choose a surgeon. Although I will say that I got along very well with her and she is very professional. I’ve worked in a top accredited hospital alongside surgeons and radiologist, and the best ones were always the worst to talk to you. I just needed to bring that up since I see a lot of bad reviews for other surgeons solely based on the person not thinking the Dr. was nice enough.
My breasts have turned out amazing, I’m more than happy with them. She gave me the exact look that I wanted to achieve.

If there was a zero that is what I would give. I went to her many years ago before there was a Unilocal.I did not do my homework on my procedure or available doctors and I won’t ever make that mistake again. She did my breast reduction. Hurt like no other. She didn’t have any follow up pictures from former patients, which I am sure because they all sucked. After my surgery I went to her and told her, «I don’t like this giant hole next to my nipple that is not healing well». She said «don’t look at it». And, we can fix it later. HELL NO YOU WON’T. To this day half of my areole is missing and it is a nasty scar that I am very embarrassed by and it looks like I got butchered and am disfigured as a result. No your homework people. You can do better

I have had Dr Swanson operate on me two times now. One was to take excess skin off my legs (vey extensive) due to weight loss and clean up some breast issues from a former surgery and this time, she did my upper eyelids and lower eyelids and my arms from elbow down to bust level on each side.
She is good! I would and do recommend her every chance I get.

So Honestly this is the first time I am unhappy with Unilocal!I leaned on everyone, saying she was great and I made an appointment for a consultation and I am EXTREMELY shocked and kind of beside myself. This lady is a mean old bat. I literally ran home just to write this review.
First let me be clear, the only reason I made this appointment, was because her ofice accepts my insurance, and Im not going to pay cash for something simple.
«Dr.» Swanson was completely standofish, and had a totally attitude with me. Even in the way she greeted me, she just shouted my name and didnt even say hello. I had a recent procedure done by another doctor out of state, and all i wanted was a single stitch taken out. Thats all. While I was explaining my issue to her, she was rolling her eyes the whole time, and just stared at me, with no expression on her face. THEN, she tells me she wont take the stitch out. I had previously explained to her how I was unhappy with the procedure that I had gotton before, and mainly due to this stitch– it hurts! … She told me, she didnt want to operate if I was already unhappy. Cant she put two and two together and know that I would be a lot happier if this stitch can out. Apparently she didnt want to waste her time.
This lady is an extreme ‘B’. Its one thing to deny someone of your services, but to be a complete jerk is another. She actually told me to go back to the state I previously was from, and have that doctor do it. I told her it hurt when I laid on my side and she told me, not to lay on that side anymore. Seriously?! No patient compassion whatsoever. WOW. Absolutely WOW. I can just imagine one of HER patients complaining about their pain after a surgery, I bet she just rolls her eyes at them too, and tells them to get over it. She was extremely cold, and made me feel very uncomfortable and acted like I was wasting her time. And really, for a plastic surgeon, I wasnt expecting a 70 year old lady that needs A LOT of work done herself. yikes! STAY AWAY. Time to retire you grump.

I came in for «smart lipo» and Dr. Swanson was fantastic. I’m overall happy with my body but hated that I had pockets of fat on my inner thighs. Kind of like reverse saddle bags. Anyway, procedure took an hour and it went well. I was swollen on and off for a few months but after 4 months, I’m happy to report that she contoured my inner thighs and my shorts no longer ride up!

i went to dr swanson for a procedure about 5 years ago. i never found her to be standoffish in any way, she may not have been overly happy and smiling all the time while doing cartwheels but i never once felt that i wasn’t welcome there. the complaint i have about her is that she only does this procedure one way because she says that’s what works best. i don’t feel it worked well for me. i probably should have gone to other consultations with other doctors but i felt she knew her stuff and had a great background. also, her before and after pictures looked good, but i definitely won’t come back to her for another surgery. i think that the outcome could have been better and i’m not that happy with the end results. without getting too in depth about the procedure, do your homework and get as many consults as you can! it’s southern california for god sake! plastic surgeons are plentiful.

This is the most professional office i have ever been to! Everyone is so friendly, calming and attentive.
i had Cynthia Moore, R.N. do some Rejuvederm in my lips and she was so awesome.
i am a huge baby when it comes to needles, but cynthia took her time and did an amazing job with very little pain.
i can’t wait to go back in july and get my «smart lipo»!
