I cut my hair with Fumi and she’s just great. She’s friendly and performs high quality hair cuts. The place is neat and bright. It is worth it and totally recommended it.

Ted, the owner is great. He instantly makes you feel comfortable and laugh. He listens to what you want, gives you feedback, and does a clean, stylish cut. It took a while to flesh out the kinks of my cut because we were going off a photo on my cellphone, but he was patient and willing to listen with a positive attitude. I can’t stress enough how comfortable he made me feel. He seemed genuinely concerned with giving me the cut I wanted and I have gotten many, many compliments on it since. Definitely sticking with this place after the fiasco I had at Eddie’s. There’s no beer here, but I didn’t come for the beer. I came for a good cut. 30 bucks for a men’s but I’ve paid more before and gotten much less. He also gave me great tips on styling and using hair wax.

Today was my first time getting a cut here. I couldn’t be happier! My cut is exactly what I wanted and the price couldn’t be better! I really can not express how thrilled I am to have found a talented and creative hairstylist. Ted and Fumi are awesome! I will be a returning customer for sure!

This is a family owned business located in the shopping center next to the Mitsuwa market on the corner of Western and Carson St. The owner Ted cuts my hair each time, and I can say with confidence he is one of the best. I have an unusual hairdo, and the texture is very thin like pine needles, so it takes someone with skill to cut my hair to my liking. Ted charges $ 30 for men and I usually leave a $ 5 tip. He also cuts my gf’s hair and always does an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable and educated, and has an artistic mind. Try him out, you won’t be disappointed.

Walked in at 10 and was told to return at 11 since there was only one worker at the time who was busy. No biggie, chillaxed at the close by Mitsuwa. When i returned at 11, there were 3 salonists available. Ted took care of me and offered suggestions on hairstyle and gave me a cut to my recommendations(something easy with little to no maintenance). Very friendly and funny with me. Price was 30 for men’s styling.

my whole family has been coming to Hair Adventure for as long as they have been open! our favorite stylist, Fumi does a great job with listening to what the client wants and needs, making sure that after your appointment youre not walking out of the salon having regrets. i usually bring in a picture of the style that im looking for, and Fumi is always able to make me one happy camper :] besides for getting a hair cut, i usually come in for a straight perm. although this could be a little pricey, she does a great job and definitely worth the money. my straight perm usually lasts more than a year and saves me from straightening my hair everyday! ive also had her put highlights in my hair, in which i loved because she was able to make them look natural– something that is hard a stylist to do these days. the salon is very clean & the staff is nice! Fumi is an awesome hairstylist and does a great job with women, men and children! :] i definitely recommend her! ALSO, its right next to mitsuwa– so pick yourself up a ramune & some pocky to eat while you get your hair did :]
