I love Dr. Friedman. My mom was a Labor and Delivery nurse and recommended Dr. Friedman after I had a bad experience with another OBGYN. He was great during my entire pregnancy and delivery. After I had my daughter, he saw me everyday in the hospital and called the nurses station daily to check in on me and my baby. He is great at listening and has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Friedman.

I absolutely love Dr. Friedman. He is quick and to the point and it’s painless. He is also very down to earth while being an expert in his field. The staff have always been super friendly and very helpful. I never want to go anywhere else.

First time there today, will not go anywhere else now. The staff Sandra and Carmen are so friendly and helpful, Dr Friedman himself is a great doctor. I did not feel rushed, he answered all of my questions, and took his time to get to know me. Definitely recommend this place.

Dr. Friedman is right up there at the top of all doctors I have ever gone to. I am VERY picky and do my homework before selecting a doctor. He is very thorough with his annual examinations and is so knowledgeable. It is refreshing for a doctor to take the time to meet with the patient in his office after the examination, not many do that. Also, his staff is very friendly with great customer service. I’ve been going to Dr. Friedman’s office for seven years and am unhappy with my experiences there. The office has very poor customer service. The receptionists are rude, they don’t send reminders for checkups or call, and they’ve made several billing mistakes. On my most recent visit, they scheduled me with another doctor because mine was on vacation and they didn’t bother to tell me or ask if I’d like to postpone my visit until she returned. I recommend finding a more modern office that can keep up the pace, has fair billing practices, and has friendly staff.

Wonderful doctor. Dr Friedman just delivered my first baby boy and I could not have asked for a better experience. He put me at ease the first time I met him. I am a mandatory c section due to prior surgery. All of my visits wete great and im so thankful I had him as my doc. Just be prepared, he loves to talk and tell stories so bring a dollar for parking. ;-)

Hands down, best Dr ever!!! He is attentive, knowledgeable, caring and dedicated. I’m an older mom of twins and his incredible care made it possible for me to deliver two beautiful healthy babies with little to no complications. He is simply amazing!

Dr. Friedman has also been my doctor for 23 years. I agree with the other reviewers who say when you find someone whom you trust and who is as caring as Dr. Friedman, you stick with him. His office staff has been his office staff for as long as I can remember so you are not dealing with HMO turn over and inexperienced staff. I first met him when I was working in Utilization Review and he was a peer reviewer for the insurance co. I was working for. Several of the nurses there recommended him to me. I’ve also received some of the best Doctor referrals from Dr. Friedman. When you need a great doctor or surgeon, ask a great doctor or surgeon who they would go to!
The patient who said she was shocked when she received a rectal exam probably hasn’t been to a doctor who gave her a full exam. This is part of the entire process including a breast exam.
I think the people who are saying his office is unprofessional and rude don’t get it because they were probably used to seeing HMO doctors who usher you in and out like cattle. Not at Dr. Friedman’s. He is super easy to talk to and you can talk candidly about your female health, sexual health without embarassment. If you need to talk to him for an hour, he will give you that much time I wouldn’t go to anyone else. His staff has always been helpful to me making emergency appointments when something was wrong, or just scheduling routine exams or calling in prescriptions.
Read the filtered reviews as Unilocal has filtered out all of his 5 star reviews and only posted the worst reviews. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Friedman has been my doctor for over 30 years he is the most professional and one of the best Doctors… Couldn’t be more trusting… Love him! He is the Best.

Couldn’t disagree more with the two negative reviews on Dr. Friedman. He has been my doctor for over 25 years and he is absolutely the very best. I had a very troubled pregnancy about 25 years ago and he gave me the best care, and sent me to the very best of specialists. He also delivered our son. He is very friendly, but even if he were not, I would be more interested in someone that knows what they are doing that some friendly guy. Trust me, if you are in a situation where you really want the best, Dr. Friedman is the doctor!

Dr. Friedman’s staff was very rude. I walked in and signed and the ladies we’re just talking the whole time. At least close the glass window if your going to talk loud and about nothing to do with the office. I waited for 45 minutes and then got called in. I used to go to Dr. Basin who was honestly the best. So, I went to Friedman because he was in the same office and I thought it couldn’t be that bad. Well… Let me tell you how bad it was. There is suppose to be a nurse in the room at ALL times and the nurse went out of the room when I was completely un-​clothed. If the doctor ever forgets something the Dr. should leave the room and get it, not the nurse. That was the first thing that made me nervous. Im in my early 20’s I have had pap’s done before. so I know the process of this. He first mentioned about my belly ring on «how cute it was» this is very un-​professional, I almost walked out. And I didn’t which I should of. Then he was down there just way to long… as soon as he was done with my pap he said «Well since Im down here I’ll just do this» and then puts his finger in my rectal. This is normal if your 50 or older. There was no reason at all from him do this unless it runs in my family. Which it doesn’t. After that he pulls me in his office and I just got horrible vibes. Ladies do not go to him. I will never go back! I hope this truly helps!

Dr. Friedman came highly recommended by someone whose children he had delivered 15 years ago. In fact, he’s been delivering babies since 1976! That may be part of the problem.
I can’t say that Dr. Friedman was particularly horrible or did anything wrong. He is just not a warm and fuzzy type of guy, and I thought that might eventually be a problem in the delivery room. He is not big into conversation, and hardly recognized me after I had been visiting him for the first 5 months of my pregnancy. He also seemed to be old school in his thinking about certain things like prenatal diet (he would say «it’s no big deal… I’m sure your mom ate that when she was pregnant with you»). All in all, I would say that he kind of seemed to be «over it» and did not enjoy his job any longer. He seemed completely uninterested in me or my soon coming bundle of joy. That’s a shame because I hear he was fantastic «back in the day».
To make matters worse, his office staff person was mean and rude and acted as if you were doing her a favor by coming there.
In the end, we changed doctors 5 months into our pregnancy, and couldn’t have been happier with that choice.
