Dr Naylor and his staff specialize in prenatal diagnosis and ultrasound evaluation of the pregnant patient as we as high-​risk, difficult pregnancies and are committed to providing patients with the finest personalized care in a respectful and compassionate manner. Our goal is offer an exceptional level of service which is focused on the health of our patients and their unborn babies.

We have a state-​of-​the art facility that specializes in the latest perinatal treatments and the most advanced ultrasound imaging available. Located in Torrance, California, we service the South Bay community and the surrounding areas and are dedicated to maintaining the health of our community.

History

Established in 2006.

Our practice was founded on a total commitment to our patients and the health of their unborn babies. We have carefully combined all the elements that will ensure the optimal level of care, including a comforting environment and a compassionate staff. Dr. C. Scott Naylor is founder and director of Pacific Perinatal Center. He is an award-​winning and highly published physician who is dedicated to his patients and committed to providing an exceptional level of care. Dr Naylor is on the cutting edge of his field and among the few physicians who have completed the rigorous training to achieve board certification in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Perinatology /​Maternal-​Fetal Medicine.

The staff is very professional and Dr. Naylor is very charming. However, he has a way of really scaring his patients. This is my experience as well as several of my friends. He is very quick to tell you about the worst case scenario and threaten induction or c-​section, which is way premature and may not be necessary at all. I got in the habit of talking to my OB (who’s actually delivering the baby) about what Dr. Naylor told me. My OB usually had a much more reasonable approach. By the way, I didn’t have to be induced or have a c-​section for either birth. He just made me unnecessarily worried.

I was referred to Dr. Naylor by my OB for my second trimester ultrasound on twins. My appointment was at 10:39am (normally the worst time ever for doctors appointments). Bedside manners were great. He was very through. One of my twins was very hard to see and he absolutely did not quit until he was confident in his findings. Ultimately, I went on for a second opinion and lost one of my twins. However, I’m so pleased with how he set me up with this as a possibility and who he referred me to. He handled a very difficult and upsetting situation with so much grace. I felt comfortable with all the decisions that followed. I read his report (sent to the doctors I followed up with) and it was very upsetting as a patient. Looking back it just makes me more pleased with how poised he was. I’m opting to follow up with him (still pregnant) as I am confident he will continue to provide me with quality care.

I was referred to Dr. Naylor by my OB for the standard genetic disease screening /​anatomy appts and I ended up seeing him a bit regularly after that because of our pregnancy situation. Coincidentally I have a gf who lives in LA that was referred to him by her physician as well.
The office itself is very clean and relaxing and there is thought behind the ambiance created… very warm. The staff is nothing short of professional and pleasant.
My first impression with Dr. Naylor was that I had never received such a thorough (ultrasound) exam… he covered everything from baby’s blood flow in the brain, temperature, etc… possibly more information than I knew what to do with but his attn to detail is impeccable and not all doctors do that. Later appts would prove that information to be very important. Also right off the bat he asked me questions about myself… we get in office consults/​reviews, and he walks you out.
We were able to be on guard with our baby’s growth progression, and have the extra care that was required for my pregnancy thanks to Dr. Naylor. I have nothing but good things to say & can’t recommend him enough for special care situations.

After a severe car accident, I was told at the ER that I had placenta previa. I contacted my ONGYN and they quickly contacted Pacific Prenatal Center and got me a same day appointment. Upon arriving the staff was extremely prompt. I had only made it through 2 pages of initial paperwork before they called me back. After my initial vital signs, I went back to the exam room. Dr. Silver knocked 4 minutes later, and began my ultra sound. She was so kind, and amazing, and answered every one of our questions. Dr. Silver found that everything was normal, and no previa was found. She also showed us a few different views to show us where the placenta was placed. At the end she let us choose US pictures to print, and gave us a DVD of our US. If I ever have a scare again, I will be contacting Dr. Silver.

Dr. Naylor has a wonderful bedside manor/​interpersonal style. He’s easy-​going, funny, and very caring. He made our 12 week ultrasound appt feel very exciting and stress-​free. The office is extremely relaxing (fountain in waiting room, very comfy chairs, soft lighting-​feels like something you’d find in Bev Hills). The staff were very prompt and professional. He gives you a video of the ultrasound!

Amazing experience at Pacific Perinatal Center with Dr. Naylor. The office has a calm relaxing atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Sounds of trickling water, spa like music, soft lighting and a great selection of current magazines.
The staff is well trained and very systematic about the forms and process of checking you in. I waited for maybe 2 minutes before I was taken back to have my vitals checked by the sweetest nurse. The first thing she said to me when she took me back was congratulations on my pregnancy. That was nice that she put compassion into her check in with me. SHe explained everything she would do before she did it and she told me what to expect next in regards to my time with the doctor.
My time with Dr. Naylor exceeded my expectations. He was warm and friendly the whole appointment through. He talked me through all the exciting steps we would take in my appointment including pictures and DVD I would be taking home of our growing baby. He went over my history and asked me if I had any questions which I did have a few random questions that he loved to answer. He likes to teach and educate you the best he can. He also had a nice sense of humor and showed that he can be light hearted. Another plus in my book.
His clinical room was super beautiful. It included the same feelings as the waiting area and it boasted a large flat screen tv monitor so I could see with ease exactly what he was seeing on his monitor.
I have to say that Dr. Naylor has put excellence into his practice. You can easily tell that he loves what he does and cares for his patients and «babies».
I can’t wait to go back.
