Creative Photo Booths

Because my family likes to wait until the last minute to plan anything I found myself on the hunt for a photo booth and turned to Groupon. I found Creative Photo Booths on Groupon but before buying I contacted them to see if they had my date available due to the short notice. I really wanted to hire them even though there are tons of photo booth deals on Groupon due to the excellent reviews. Sadly the allotment of Groupon deals were at capacity for our night. Happily they were able to offer a discounted rate comparable to the Groupon rate and we were good to go! Communication was great from the beginning to the end. Wanda was a please to work with. Our photo booth attendant Amanda was absolutely wonderful! Conscientious and friendly, she put everyone at ease. The Creative Photo Booth and accompanying attendant were the hit of the party! Thank you both so much!

The detail of their business is awesome, they are beyond thorough, and polite! Loved how they gave great options for printed photo strips. Loved that we got a disk of everything at the end of the night with all the pictures it was so much fun to see everyone enjoying themselves.
I would definitely do business with them again! The props for the theme was perfect (60^th surprise birthday party) the set up was so fast and professional. The photo booth was definitely a highlight of our party. The photo booth specialist that was monitoring it was so friendly, polite and professional! From the get go Wanda from Creative Photo Booths was a pleasure to work with. She replied to all my inquiries very quickly, arrived to our holiday party in time and had tons of props. She was a great hit. Would book her again in a heartbeat!

We hired creative photo booth for our wedding and we are so happy with their work! They were friendly, fun, and really nice to our guests! We received a disk with all the photos at the end which was cool to see after the wedding! They had great props and good energy! Wanda was really helpful and responds quickly to emails! She is very informative and really nice !! They are great and I definitely would recommend them for any event!

Had a great time with the photo booth at our class reunion. Brooklyn had some obstacles placed in her way when she arrived and then the darn wind but she handled everything calmly and with a smile on her face. I would definitely use Creative Photo Booths again. Thanks for the fun evening.

We used them for our wedding a few weeks ago. They showed up on time, quickly set up and got the party going. My daughter and all of the other kids went nuts. They just loved it.
Assortment of props was great and in good shape. Booth was roomy enough for groups and using it was a snap. Quickly moved in and out. Our attendant, Allison, was a doll and we loved having her there.
Received a thumb drive with our photos (bonus!) a few weeks later which was great because I misplaced a few of my strips from the evening. Nice touch for those that want extra copies too. Would use again. Great product and great service. We had a lot of compliments after the wedding and the price was very very fair.

They were a hit at my daughter’s first birthday party!!! Greg was very professional and very friendly with all of our guests. Wanda was great and very accommodating for me seeing as how I live in the Inland empire! She worked a package deal that would fit my budget and everything I needed was included without any added costs which I love! The quality of the prints were great and I love how they post the pix on FB for guests to be able to download. Great Company and reasonably priced!

Used this Company for my wife and I (our wedding was a couple months ago)… the whole process went very smoothly! Wanda helped with all the paper work and pricing and the day of service was fantastic. I got emails/​calls back in timely fashion, and everyone was more then helpful and friendly. We had a pretty big wedding in Marina Del Rey– about 250 people (plus quite a few wedding crashers) EVERYONE used the photobooth and had a lot of fun there over the course of the evening.
I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are about, we did not have any problems with communication or day-​of technicalities. Happily, I refer anyone here in need of a solid photobooth service for any event! Btw I don’t ever take time to review on Unilocal,but the service we received definitely deserved some recognition.

Creative did a great job at the wedding of my son. They were entertaining, engaging and had the room enjoying many different photo ops.

I used Creative Photo Booths for my little sister’s wedding last weekend in Downtown LA & they were great. I dealt w/​Wanda through the whole process. She made the paperwork easy & she was very friendly. She was easy to work w/​on the design of the photo strips, even though I made her change it a lot. The booth was very popular at the event. I went home w/​at least 10 photo strips just myself. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that they were hard to reach at times. They never called me back when I left voicemails & my sister tried to call she was also never called back. I had better communications via email only. Otherwise, the service, the props, the booth, and Wanda herself were great. I will definitely use them again for other events and recommend them to others.

Yikes! I’m so glad I didn’t see these other reviews until AFTER I had hired and received service from Creative Photo Booths. I’m happy to write a review that is the opposite of what other Unilocalers have described; perhaps they really read the reviews and revamped customer service protocols.
Creative Photo Booths did our 10-​year high school reunion. We bought a 2-​hr Groupon, and I thought it was such a kindness that we weren’t charged a travel fee (we barely made it into the travel radius by 0.8 mi!) Communication was timely via email with Wanda, the owner, even when I had to change the rental timeframe a few times. We had a slight issue after the photobooth left, but when I called the next day, Wanda picked up and emailed me two follow-​up emails to remedy the problem! Customer service rating = 5 stars.
The structure of the photobooth itself was spacious and several props accompanied it. The photobooth system was controlled via laptop software, so the picture quality was adequate. I thought that 10 seconds between each pose was a bit much, but it allowed for large groups to reassemble and change out props. The attendant manually printed out the photos and cut them with a mini papercutter, which is a bit antiquated considering the types of photobooths available now. This added onto the overall wait time to receive the photo strips, but because we didn’t have a large crowd, it wasn’t a problem for people to wait a couple of minutes. Photobooth rating = 4 stars
Overall rating = 4.5 stars, rounded down to 4. We transported all tables to the venue specifically for guests to set down food, etc. I saw that one of the tables had been cleared of the decorations and was being used for the photobooth props. Super minor, but I wish we had been informed that we would need to provide a table for this vendor. Overall though, a reasonable price for a photobooth that does the job and for great customer service from Wanda!

Booked this photo booth for our daughters Sweet 16 and read the reviews after. So naturally I was a little afraid. Communication wasn’t great at first but after submitting my contract everything ran smoothly. Attendants were very sweet and professional. Picture quality was great and received my CD 3 days later. I would definately use them again.

I was afraid to use them because of their poor rating on Unilocal.But they were still in business, so I figure they must doing something right. Plus they are price below others. I was pleased with the service I received. Well worth the money.

We purchased a LivingSocial deal and used it for my husband’s birthday party at a restaurant. Overall, I’d say we had a wonderful experience. I dealt with Wanda and she had a great attitude. She brought a variety of props and invited me to add my own (given it was a very particular theme). It brought out the «ham» from all our guests. Prints were provided on-​site, we were handed a CD at the end of the event, and pictures were posted within a day or two. Can’t ask for better than that.
The booth itself may not be what you expect — it is not like a photo booth you’d see at a mall. It does require an operator, and the part you sit in is really quite flexible: more like a curtained area, no hard walls. In fact, we opted not to use the curtains because the supports took up more space that we had available in our private room at the restaurant. I thought that flexibility was a plus.
I thought it would be weird to have someone manning it at all times, but it’s really not — just makes it seem more professional, like having your own photographer. Our group started out a little shy so it allowed her to encourage people to give it a try, to personally hand out the prints, and to provide feedback as people posed.
Admittedly, it is uneven getting through to Wanda which is why one star is deducted. She came through for us, but there were a couple of times where I had to e-​mail or call a second time. Growing pains, I figure.
I’m distressed that many positive reviews for this business are filtered. It’s really not fair nor representative that the ones that are unfiltered are all so profoundly negative. Please be assured that mine is legit and unsolicited, and I really was happy with how it turned out. Guests at our event asked for contact info so they were pleased as well.

We got a photo booth for my sons wedding reception. I thought it would fun. But I was amazed how much fun it really was. It was the second best thing there that day, only the marriage of my oldest son could top it. Wanda was a people person. She knew how to make sure everyone had a good time.

I came across Creative Photo Booths through a deal from LivingSocial. At that time, it was a brand new company. At first, I was hesitant, but decided to purchase the deal since it was pretty affordable.
Unfortunately, I regret purchasing this deal. Creative Photo Booths lacks customer service and they are very slow in responding. For example, if you call their number, they never pick up. If you leave a message, it takes up to ONE week for them to get back to you. I emailed the company for a contract, again, it takes another week. Have any other additional questions? Again, it will take at least a week to get a response. The response time is clearly unacceptable.
As a result of the lack of service and unacceptable response time, I decided not to go through with Creative Photo Booths and got a LivingSocial credit instead.
Hopefully, others haven’t experienced this, but I have.

2 hours yielded us 31 photos.
That’s 1 every 4 minutes
The monitor crashed for maybe 5 – 10 minutes.
Ask them to add more time if the monitor crashes.
Here’s why I really want to give them 1 star: They say the photos will be posted within 5 business days on the online photo gallery, plus a CD in the mail. 18 days later, I hadn’t seen either. I called Monday with no response. I called Tuesday and asked for a response. I called Wednesday and demanded a response. I called Thursday and threatened to have my credit card refuse the charge. Finally on Friday, I did some research and found their parent company Creative Reunions, made a call and complained, and then I got a call back. Jeesh.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I did not like having my messages ignored.
That put the BOO in Creative Photo BOOths.
We were happy with the service otherwise.

I was planning my wedding and I saw their Living Social deal for $ 299 for 2 hours. I wanted a session of 4 hours so I called them and asked for a 4 hour package. They accommodated my request and said that it would cost $ 499. Deal! (most photobooth rentals go for $ 1000 for 4 hours.) They sent me the contract, I filled it out and sent it back the next day. On the contract it said that if I did not receive confirmation of receipt after 24 hours of booking, to contact them for one. No receipt, so I emailed them the following day. Still, no receipt. I checked my bank account and they already took the $ 499 out of my account. I continued to call and email them sporadically throughout the week and still, no response. I started to think this was becoming a scam until I left one more message asking to refund my purchase. They finally called back and said that I was confirmed for my date a few months ahead. Phew! I still was not mailed a physical receipt but I trusted that they would be there for my wedding.
Fast forward a few months, a week before the wedding, I emailed Creative Photo Booths again asking for an arrival time and guess what? No response. I called, emailed, even went on Facebook to search and contact the owner herself, Wanda Diroll, still no response. It was only a couple days before the wedding and my fiancé really wanted a photo booth. Thankfully, after several hours of searching and asking friends we found someone who would work with us for a discounted price since we were stuck in a rut. (Message me if you want his info. He was very professional and provided a green screen for you to pick out your own background! I highly recommend him!) Wanda finally sent me a message 2 days before the wedding and in one sentence said that she would be there. OOOOh HEEELLLLL NAW! This is not the type of company that I would do business with. Living Social discount or not, I wouldn’t pay a penny to deal with her. Is there a way I could give them ZERO stars?
