Awesome selection and an awesome staff. Even if there were 20 boot stores around here, The Boot Barn is the only place I’d shop hands down.
I’m about as green as they come with knowledge of cowboy boots and hats. At least I was green, prior to having Katie help me. Katie is awesome! She’s an expert and actual rider. She’s also really kind and helpful even with customers who have no idea about boots and hats; ie me. She made me super comfortable to ask as many questions as I had and answered them in a way a common guy like me could understand. She cares about the customer and is 100% authentic. She made it a joy to shop here, and also made it the only place I’ll come to for western attire.
Thanks Boot Barn and thanks Katie! You guys rock!

The worst most dreadful customer service EVER!!! The Customer Service Manager Sherry doesn’t know the first thing about customer service. I was sent boots in the wrong color and size. Sherry had agreed to send my replacement order Next Day as it was a Christmas gift. When I got email confirmation of my order the shipping was 2^nd Day and they weren’t shipping until the next day which would be to late for Christmas. I canceled my order, which she shipped anyway.
She never sent a return shipping label or credit for the wrong boots or the replacement boots (I had to reverse the charge on my credit card for both charges). I will never shop Boot Barn again!

Worst customer service ever… lots of excuse y apologizes for poor services, many delays or no follow up with customers and lots of verbal promises that never happen… Their very good at dropping the ball… :(Shame on you guys… I made a special order (PAID-​in– FULL CASH, well over a $ 140.00), the manager, she said it should arrive in 7−10^th days and they would call me as soon as they come in…
Well, ten days pasted and ten turned into twenty, hum, so I decided to call and the managers, and she said her staff put my paid-​in-​full shirts back out on the floor for sale and one of them were sold :(¿Can you believe that? The Boot Barn, Inc. is now in the business of taking customers money and never thinking twice about it… Now that is a first impression that could never be forgiven, let alone to get a second chance!

I called Boot Barn earlier today to verify if they had boots in my boyfriends size so we can try them on and purchase them. The young lady I spoke to places them on hold for me and told me the store closed at 8pm. We come to the store at 6:30pm and everything is locked up. My BF gets out the car and seen the store hours that said the store closed at 6pm. I thought it was an old sign, so I called the store and a man answered and confirmed that the store closed at 6pm and the store is only open until 8pm Monday thru Friday.
Totally unprofessional!
Please train your employees to not only know the products in the store, but to know STORE HOURS! We live downtown LA, not in Torrance!

Lots of great selection at reasonable prices. Has everything you need from boots, insoles, laces, to cowboy shirts. Staff is friendly and personable.

Was in the store today and I honestly must say that I will not be back ! The staff is amazing, Tina is awesome but I will not support any business that has become a Yankee run business … Boot Barn has hopped on the bandwagon and has pulled all Southern Cross aka the Confederate Battle Flag merchandise. Shame on you ! Boot Barn where is your southern pride !

Came in to purchase some new boots. Was immediately greeted by employees. Veronica S., the manager, took time to help me find the perfect boot. She sized me and made sure the boots were a good fit. Very happy with my experience here and will definitely return!

Very good selection and competitive prices. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I saw some exotic leathers that were not as pricey as the Luchesse Ostrich Leather boots I recently purchased. I know where I will be buying Dan Post caiman leather boots from.

I saw the negative reviews on this store and I just had to write. I visited the Torrance store a couple of months ago and I experienced THE BEST customer service. First, I was coming after work and I was trying to get across town from Los Angeles to Torrance during rush hour traffic before the store closed. In my rush, I got lost going to the store and I called. The store manager that night gave me directions which I followed. I barely got in 10 minutes before the store closed and the manager graciously allowed me to roam the store shopping as he was beginning to close down. I came for a specific item and even though he was the only one in the store, he kindly went in the back to look for my item and checked their computer when he could not find what I was looking for. Throughout my time there, I felt welcomed and in no way did he rush me to get out. I had the same experience with the Boot Barn store in Lake Elsinore. There, I was greeted upon coming in, but left alone to shop unmolested. When I had a question, the saleslady not only gave me some good tips and advice but she also found ways to help me save money on my purchases. For all of you who had negative experiences with the employees at Boot Barn, it is good that you complained. Maybe the company listened and hired these great employees instead.

I love Boot Barn — I have gotten a few pairs of really nice boots from this particular location, as well as other gifts and novelty items. I have never been disappointed; however, they do have a nice selection online and all boots ship free ;)

Wow what an amazing place! Went there yesterday and got waited on by the nicest, most knowledgeable employee, whose name was Ethan! I will definitely be back. Then I called today to tell the manager, Roger, about my wonderful experience and got the nicest person on the phone, who name was Michelle. Really nice people there!

Yesterday I went to the boot barn to make a purchase at the Los alamitos store. I was going to make a large purchase. I was in the store fifteen minutes and not one employee asked to help me. At least two made eye contact and then looked away. I’m in customer service for a living and do very well because I make people feel welcome. I did not feel welcome so I decided to leave was not asked to come back and will be making my purchase on line. There is a lack of management in this store and indifference in the employees.

I have mixed results about this Boot Barn. I’m glad to have one, but my husband and I could have had a much more pleasant experience.
The staff was never rude towards us, but they weren’t exactly helpful either… except one girl. She was busy most of the time, though. The times when other employees did check on us I felt as though they were breathing down my neck a little – almost like they thought I was going to steal stuff. It must have been the baby stroller, right? The rest of the time, as I was checking out some ladies accessories, all I hear is some dude (the owner maybe?) blabbing about some chick that… It’s not even worth writing about on here. Just know that they care more about gossiping than actually helping you when you need it most… Like in the boots section. I didn’t even get help with my boots, but no worries! I got it figured out.
That’s the other thing… some people are like, «Oh, they have a large selection of boots.» I must be missing something because all I saw for women were a bunch of gaudy, pointed boots. I can’t wear those. My toes are too long and I like my boots a little more plain and simple so that I can accessorize elsewhere. Like I said, I got it figured out. Found a pair that fit, a square toe. Arias brand. There is a men’s to match it. How do I know? My brother, who lives in New Mexico, bought the same designed Arias boots at a western store there.
Then I noticed threads coming out of the design. These boots were for a country wedding in which I was a bridesmaid. We had a newborn baby with us and I did not want to deal with finding boots later. So I told the very nice girl (the lone employee that actually helped me when she wasn’t busy with OTHER customers) that dilemma. No problem. She knocked $ 20 off the price which was equivalent to me trading in an old pair of boots.
It was cool to know that SoCal had a western store, but the customer service is shoddy. If only I could remember that one girl’s name, I would suggest that you deal only with her because she actually seems to give a damn. Oh yeah… they don’t stretch hats here. They sell hats, but don’t have a hat stretcher. My husband agrees that is flat out lame!

Boot barn online order I got my new boots they are two days old today .call boot barn because the boots are rubbing my left heel they said that two week for them to inspect the boots .I paid 191.00 for the boot and was a long time customer of them in store and online. I feel like I should go to the store and trade them out or get my money back .no not with them .they have lost me as a customer @bootbarn not a place to spend my money on work boots anymore.

5 sales people standing around talking about their Saturday night while 4 customers are waiting for help. They don’t even have nylons for women to try on boots with. This store had the worst customer service.

Rude staff and dirty store ! The owner is a complete A&@Hole !!!

So ,
I have bought 4 pair of boots here within the last 2 years and other stuff .
The last time I bought a pair of boots was about 2 weeks ago, the customer service girl was really helpful and always have been.
I had been looking for a pair of corral boot size10.5 (289.00)which she was gracious enough to order from another store (because they do not have it).And lo and behold she called me to try them on when they came in. Next day I went in to try them on.
She saw that the boot did not fit me and was eager to order me a size 11.
After being around in the store for 30 mins or so, I walked to the counter to ask her about the time the other pair was coming in and… but an employeee I am assuming he is the owner son or manager a Caucasian man said that it could not be ordered because it costs boot barn 40 to 50 dollars everytime a pair of boots is shipped REALLY ?
Which I responded you do not have to give me this attitude. Responding promptly he said have a good night Sir. IS THIS SERVICE ?
Interesting enough he said it in front of 2 or 3 other shoppers.
Before this incident the same man had me wait about 5 mins with my girlfriend in order tp pay for her boots xmas time
With this kind of person in the store IT WILL MAKE ME UNCOMFORTABLE of buying there.
The ladies are awesome, but if you see this man he has no courtesy or sense of whats going on .He looks angry or is OR SEEMS HE IS NOT THERE .
As a customer I have paid your FULL price on items I have bought,
BUT WILL NOT VISIT THE STORE WITH THIS KIND OF SERVICE THIS MAN NEEDS TO GO TO A CLASS TO TREAT HIS CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT.

I was surprised to see some less than par reviews on this page. I’ve been to Boot Barn multiple times, and let me tell you, I will never deal with another company when it comes to boots. Living in Southern California, it is difficult to find stores geared toward southern souls and horse riders! Not only does this store have much of what you may need, but the staff and policies of this store are some of the best I have ever experienced.
The multiple times I have been in there, I have never seen anyone ignored. I’ve always seen people greeted and helped — even if poor Laura is helping multiple people at one time! Laura is awesome, by the way. I had an extenuating circumstance regarding a boot purchase that was of the wrong size. Laura helped me out more than words can describe! Not to sound like a sap, but I even called her the day after our transaction for reassurance and she was super sweet, reassuring, and helpful.
Coming from a small town, I had yearned for a place like this in southern California. Definitely makes me miss home, that small town feel, and store where they remember a face.
I highly recommend this store to everyone! Don’t purchase boots online, just go here! Trust me, you won’t be sorry! And your soul might feel a little heartier when you leave, too =).

O.K. so my boyfriend thinks he’s a cowboy and we received an ad about some shirts that they had on sale for Father’s Day. So we head over and we find a bunch of shirts that he likes and a hat. The selection is pretty good. I have been to some bigger Western Wear stores that had more of a variety but none that are around here!
The service was top notch here. We were looking for something that they didn’t have in stock and they are going to order it for me and notify me when it comes in. The prices are expensive but what are you going to do? Every cowboy must have his gear, right? Even the wannabes like my man: o)
