This is a solid option if you’re looking for take-out Indian food. I’ve never ventured to the Indian Subcontinent, but from what I’ve heard from those who have, this is about as authentic as you’ll find in Southern California. I’ve tried maybe a half dozen items, but usually go back to the chicken tikka masala. The combos are a really good deal, where you get the meat dish, curried vegetables, rice(mass quantities), and salad for about $ 7. The naan is decent, but nothing to write home about. A bit too tough for my taste. You can order on Eat24, which makes it very convenient. When they first became available online, there was a solid chance you’d show up and they had missed your order or something went wrong, but the last few times they’ve been on point, so I’m glad I can now order with confidence. Dining in is definitely a different experience as well. The only other people I’ve ever seen eating here are regulars, a part of the local Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi population. But the service was good and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Nice find! Portions were generous and the owner and cook were very polite. They came out and checked in to see if the meal was acceptable. We enjoyed the complimentary Kheer. Don’t let the appearance or décor steer you away.

This place is soooo bomb!!! Try their chai tea, because it’s legit, with real live probiotic cultures. Please try their garlic naan with chicken korma, you’ll thank me. I’ve tried other spot’s chicken korma but theirs is the creamiest, very tender and the BEST!!! If you like TRUE spicy, try their Biriyani. Call-in orders are always pleasant and the guy here is very friendly. Do some grocery shopping. They have great seasonal produce, and they definitely don’t eff around with high quality meats. Believe me, it’s fresh, and you can taste the quality. Go check it out!!!

**Beware: shady business tactics.** 3 different incidents on this visit they try to scam us. We are a party of 2 came in to try their Indian food. The restaurant/market was quiet. Slow business does not give them the right to use shady business tactics on their customers. Beware there are 2 different menu that looks the same. One on the table on top of the glass table and another he gives u on hand. but 1 of them some prices are higher that the other. Incident #1: I wanted the lamb chops but the prices were different. Menu 1 showed $ 9.99 for 3 lambchops. Menu 2 showed $ 12.99 for also 3. When I asked, he said $ 12.99 is for 4 pieces of lambchops. I ordered the 3 lambchops for $ 9.99. Keep in mind no where the menu described the difference and the pictures are the same with only 3 pieces. After I decided with the 3 lamb chops for $ 9.99 he said they are sold out.Smh. I think if we didn’t ask what the difference was, the bill would of came out to us at $ 12.99 and only gave us 3 lamb chops. Incident #2: We ordered the chicken Kirahi on menu for $ 7.99. He asked us if we wanted bone or boneless. We said boneless. He didn’t say anything or tell us there is an up charge for boneless.(Menu doesn’t state that either) when the bill came it charged $ 9.99. We asked him why he said $ 7.99 is for chicken with bones. Incident #3: Since they were«sold out» of the lamb chop, he recommended me to try their chicken and beef shish kebobs. I said ok. When the entrée came it was 2 seperately big plates of almost the exact same thing. The bill was charged for 2 seperately entrees. At this time I was already quiet fed up but whatever. Keep in mind we had ordered another curry dish, and he convinced us to try their paratha, garlic naan, a large plate of rice and he added 2 plates of entrees to our order for party of 2?! I asked him why the sheesh kebobs was 2 seperately entrees, he said one order of chicken and 1 order of beef(which look and tastes exactly the same. See my pictures below) I asked him, don’t you think that was way too much food for 2 people?! 6 items for 2 people. He said yes, you two look«healthy» and I thought you can finish it but no problem u can take home for lunch tomorrow. really? Seriously?!! Not only he try to scam us 3 times but he literally offended us. This is the kind of bait and switch shady tactics he had to use on his first time customers!!! He knew it was our first time and he took advantage of that. I never had to deal with bait and switch shady business tactics at a restaurant like this before. This is upsetting but at the same time, funny! The food was greasy but had a good flavor to it. It would of been a place to eat at least once a week because I love Indian food. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this kind of shady business tactics! Too funny!!!

Got the Tandoori Chicken and an order of Naan to-go. Chicken was flavored nicely but was a tad dry and not very meaty. It wasn’t badly priced at ~$ 7 so it’s perfect for a single serving if you’re hungry. But naan was delicious!

I have been in Torrnace since a year and never went to this place. What a bummer! The owner guy is amazingly humble and the lady also has a genuine smile on all the time. The food is equally great. Amazing Pakistani food with no excess spices or oil(I don’t mean to say that it’s bland). It’s just perfect. Their plain rice is of nice quality. Naan was extraordinary. Mixed vegetable was made with fresh vegetables in a nice gravy. My husband loved the chicken halim. I have to stop writing now. You must go!!!

So someone asks me what kind of food I like. I say Indian. And they go get take out from this place. I’m a pseudo vegetarian. Being full on vegetarian is just plan rude. So I tell him chicken is fine. The chicken tikka masala was so friggin good. The naan was to die for. This place is so freaking good. It’s Pakistani halal, which is close to Indian. You will likely find beef here, unlike most Indian restaurants. You won’t find pork.

Very good Indian food for a great price! The restaurant however is a bit janky, but the food is so good and you can’t argue with the price. The customer service is alright, not great. It’s the food that keeps me coming back.

I had the chicken Tikka Masala combo and a mango Lassi to drink. It really hit the spot. It makes me sad that I don’t live in the area because I would eat here all the time. The owner was very nice and helpful, even after someone in our group spilled water all over the table.

I’ve never tasted anything so delicious. I came to LA for a wedding and stumbled upon this gem. This restaurant got bought out by Pakistani owners. –This is no longer a Bangladeshi restaurant(I’ve never had Bangladeshi food before. So this bullet is for those who know the difference between the two cuisines) — The kabab paratha rolls are to die for!!! A must have! The owners are such kind and incredible people. The amazing service makes all the difference! This place is a new favorite and I will definitely be stopping by every time I make it to LA.

Got the chicken curry combo, it was okay. The curry was really mild but didn’t have that much flavor and was a weird off-white color. What kind of curry is that? The veggie that came with the combo(maybe chana masala) was so oily that we couldn’t eat it. vThe rice was excellent, perfect consistency. Also had the chicken tikka which was very good. And the garlic naan was excellent and only 2 bucks. Would try the tandoori chicken or tikka masala next time.

It’s a grocery store cum eating place. Clean and neat. Good service. Good food especially shami kabob and chicken curry. I like their plain paratha. Easy to get to the place. You can eat and do your grocery at the same place. Overall we will come back again.

Excellent food. Ordered the tandoori chicken and rice combo. First off the salad came in which to be honest I don’t like salad in general. But lo and behold there was this green sauce which I had tried on the salad a tad bit it was just so good. The sauce I am generally guessing consists of lime and herbs. I’ve been told it is good for your digestive system. The rice, chicken, and curry came in. The rice was naturally good which I had also put the green sauce to use as well lol. Now the main chicken. Very tender and not overly flavourful but enough to actually enjoy the chicken. It was not too dry but more of moist to it. Overall I will come back. Service and volume is overly great.

It’s a grocery store with a restaurant section. Their naan is delicious(although I’ve never had bad naan!) and so is their chicken curry and chicken tikka masala. They have a lunch/dinner special, which is a combo of salad, LOTS of rice, veggies/lentils and a curry(you choose the meat) for only $ 4.99. It’s a pretty great deal considering how much food they give you. I’ve been here multiple times(for take out and dine-in) and will keep coming back. The guys working there are super nice as well.

I have been here multiple times for the groceries and meat and today i decided to try the food in the restaurent. We ordered ckn seekh kabab and ckn biryani. Seekh kabab was very very good, the meat was juicy and tender. While on the other hand biryani was dry, rice was choky and meat was too hard. Also had the ckn samosa and ckn patties for appetizers and they were both OK. Service isnt the best too.

This place has incredibly tasty food at very reasonable prices, but would recommend ordering to go rather than eating at the tables… not much ambience since it’s in a market. The owner(or manager?) of the place was very sweet and brought out samples of additional items on the menu for us to try. The vegetable curry was perfectly spicy, the generous portion of dal was made with red lentils(yum!), and the standard chicken masala was also tasty. At the end he brought out little tapioca dessert which was a nice way to end the meal. I will definitely order indian takeout from here whenever we have the craving for it next.
