I love this place !! Their food is fantastic ! I love sitting on the patio when its sunny outside because it’s covered & there are fans ! Anyone in Houston knows that fans are a must during the summer months outside ! Last time I went with my boyfriend our waitress, Candace, was so awesome! She greeted us right away & was very attentive the whole time. Our food came out quickly & was delicious. You can tell she enjoys her job & really cares that her customers are satisfied. i would definitely recommend this place :-)

Have been in a few times and love this place! The kitchen had a lil mishap on our first visit but the manager«Bre» took care of us and that has had us coming back for the great food ever since… It’s refreshing to come to a place that appreciates the customers… Ask for one of the Bre’s when you come in, tell em Zeke sent you!!! Love the fried catfish and the crawfish étouffée!

Came on a busy Sunday night and received great service from the bartender, Ellen. Strawberry margaritas were awesome and included fresh strawberries. Food was excellent and came out quick!

Great service & pretty good food. Love the drink selection. We’re here from out of town & I picked this on a map search whim; I’m not disappointed at all.

This place lacks the CAJUN luster needed to make it taste like Louisiana cuisine. The catfish I had was thrown in the trash. My table was completely quiet due to the lack of enjoyment of the food. The sauce used on my catfish was horrible. Not to mention the FROZEN French fries! Definitely will not be returning even if the food was free and they paid me to eat it!

Service slow, food bland. Not really a «bar», but a restaurant with a liquor license and a limited selection. Water tastes like its from an old well. Like dirt and mold or something. We were disappointed and won’t return.

We went here on 2÷27÷16 for my birthday dinner. We made the reservation a week in advance and we had a party of about 12 people. The food was hit or miss — the grilled catfish and grilled shrimp were pretty decent, but several people complained that the fried catfish wasn’t very good. The service was lackluster and slow, and no one was served at the same time. My sister finally got her fried catfish a good fifteen minutes after everyone was finished. They knew it was my birthday and didn’t offer a dessert or anything. It was fairly disappointing for a birthday dinner and I’m not really interested in going back again.

Meh. Some things were good. Others not so much. We started off with Cajun crab cakes. They were decent. You get what you pay for. They were heavily breaded, fried, then topped with etouffe(6⁄10). Next, we had a cup of gumbo. I was not a fan at all. To me, it smelled like a hospital or some other medical environment. I had one bite(2⁄10). For our main meals we got 2lbs of crawfish to sample. The crawfish was great overall. Spicy and good sized. Only things they do wrong is put seasoning on the outside but they’re still good. I’d also prefer the option to have more vegetables in there like mushrooms. I give the crawfish a(7⁄10). Could be a little cheaper and it’d get an(8⁄10). We got more crawfish etouffe as an entrée. That was good as well. No complaints just not mind blowing.(7⁄10). I will give this place another try but will definitely avoid the gumbo.

Tad’s is so close to being something special, but they’re just not hitting on all cylinders. The first thing to fix is the lousy service. It took way too long to place our order, and after the food arrived, we were ignored so thoroughly that I began to wonder if I had really bad BO or something. Maybe sitting on the patio was the root of that problem, but surely someone’s assigned to every table. The food was pretty good overall, but still needs tweaking. Fried alligator appetizer was a bit undercooked on the outside, with rubbery alligator inside. Go to Tailgators to see how it should be. The crawfish etoufee was much better. No complaints about that; just the right amount of heat, and a good serving of crawfish, too. The toast served with it was excellent. They didn’t do as well on the steak, but it was decent. I think these guys could get it together without too much trouble and become a fun place to go for dinner. Here’s hoping, and I look forward to giving it another shot soon.

I first thought this was a bar after driving by several times, but it’s actually a restaurant and bar with supposedly fresh seafood, so their sign says. I believe this is one of the many former Dairy Queen’s around Texas that’s been converted into another restaurant. I was craving fried shrimp but when I walked in the door and saw the crawfish special, I opted for the crawfish instead. They usually have 4 lbs on the menu as an entrée, which comes with 1 potato and corn, but on the special, you can order 2 lb or 4 lb. The 2 lb doesn’t come with corn or potato though. I think they are being a little cheap not to include anything with the mudbugs, since there is a big markup on them anyway. I also ordered a hurricane to drink; it wasn’t all that strong, but it had good flavor. The crawfish were a little spicy and pretty good size. They didn’t come with any dipping sauce or powder like I’m used to, but that was fine. I would come back again for the crawfish. I also sampled the crawfish étouffée, but it was really thick and sticky, sitting on a bed of steamed white rice. Since I make this at home, I am a little picky on this dish and I didn’t really like it. The service was not the best, but I’d be willing to give them another try if I’m in the area again.

First time to TaDs tonight and it is awesome! Staff is on point and food is perfect. Very clean and friendly place for great Cajun food without the long trip to Louisiana.

Every time we go the wait staff is Exceptional. The last couple of times we have gone, the food wasn’t the best. We went about a week ago and I had the salmon salad. The salmon had a strange crust on it and didn’t have any flavor. About an hour later, it cleaned me out. Over the weekend my husband and I went back, I had the crawfish étouffée and it was too thick and it tasted old. My husband had the seafood dinner and he could not eat the oysters because they tasted bad. Not sure what’s going on, but someone needs to check into why the quality of the food is not where it was when they first opened. My husband and I really enjoy the atmosphere and the wait staff, but if the food quality doesn’t pick up, we may not go as often. I hope this review helps to point out where the manager may be missing something. Would love to see this place flourish!

Quickly has become one of our favorite Tomball stops for food. Good quality and a decent price. Great place to watch the big game or hang out on the patio with friends. Service is good and open every day.

I had Boudoin balls for an appetizer and my entrée was Cajun Catfish — one grilled and one fried. Everything was delicious! The décor is perfect and inviting. This is a fun place to watch a game and get your grub on! I’ll be back!

We went in shortly after they opened and I wasn’t impressed. My husband loved the fried shrimp but my food(either creole or ettouffe, can’t remember) was ridiculously hot. And this is coming from someone with a very Cajun last name. Anyhoo, we also ordered the fried alligator appetizer and were pretty disappointed that it was like $ 9 for five or six small nuggets. We’ll give it one more try I suppose.

Stopped in for lunch right at 11:10 and was instantly greeted and seated. The waitress was knowledgable and friendly. This place filled up quickly(always a good sign) I ordered fried shrimp, alligator and catfish. Shrimp was cooked perfectly, the flavor was so fresh and light. Catfish was the best I have had in a good while. Alligator had a little too much seasoning for my buds but all in all it was still delicious! I have already started referring friends and coworkers. Tomball really needed a place like this. We will be back for sure!

I’m in love. This place is fantastic. Once you step inside you’ll forget you’re in old town Tomball. Waitress Chantél is amongst the best servers I’ve ever had, ask for her and tip her well. The food was amazing and I can’t wait to go back.

This place is amazing and could be the best restaurant except for such tiny things that really they are inconsequential! I ordered the fried alligator appetizer and instead of the honey mustard the waitress recommend their special house sauce! Spicy and delicious! I also ordered the crawfish étouffée bowl which was possibly the best dish on my week long trip! Soooo spicy! So tasty! Even the house Pinot Grigio was good!

Absolutely amazing! After a long day, my friends and I decided to have dinner here. After spending a little time looking the menu I ordered crawfish Étouffée. It was very delicious. The portions were good. Restaurant was clean and service was excellent. Can’t wait to try there boiled crawfish
