Lakewood Nails

We won’t be coming back. I kept having to tell the manicurist that I didn’t like square nails; I like rounded. I guess she figured we’d compromise since one side of my point would be half square and the other half rounded (read uneven side-​point!). The other manicurist filed my daughters’ nails completely down so that they were shorter than her finger. Disaster.
We got the gel/​shellac nails so they would last. I asked for an American Tip. I do not like that bright candy pink of the French Tip, but the soft baby pink is perfect to me. Anyway, I explained I wanted the American Tip. She did the white tip and then did a clear coat over it — no bright pink, no soft baby pink — just a clear coat.
I’ll have to keep looking for a nail salon.
