I am so, so thankful that I found Shakeh and Riverside Health Center! After years of hearing about the benefits of acupuncture, I finally decided to give it a shot. Upon calling to make my appointment, I was informed that my first appointment would last an hour and a half, and then every appointment after would only be an hour. When I arrived, I realized the extra half hour allows Shakeh to sit with you and get a full assessment of your issues and/​or struggles. For me personally, stress has been affecting me physically and mentally which has in turn affected my sleeping patterns.
I am happy and SHOCKED to say that, after only two sessions and some Chinese herbs, I have been sleeping like a baby! I couldn’t be more pleased with my results, and with Shakeh herself. Her bedside manor is so comforting, and at no point was I nervous or apprehensive.
Thank you Shakeh and Riverside Health Center for being exactly what I didn’t even know I needed! You have a loyal client in me :)

Dr. Yanagita is amazing. Everyone that I send to him is healed and they feel it instantly. He’s a great man and a great chiropractor/​acupuncturist. When I leave his office, I feel like I’m floating on a cloud. I’m so glad I found him.

I was referred to Dr. Lee by my boss on account of his professionalism and honest nature. I have to say, this was by far the best chiropractic experience I’ve ever had. The receptionist is extremely nice and Dr. Lee is phenomenal. He didn’t rush anything and allowed me to explain the situation thoroughly before deciphering what happened. He then thoroughly explained what was happening in my lower back, treated it and told me not to come back unless I’m feeling pain. He gave practical advice and just made me feel very comfortable. I would go back to him in a heart beat and have already recommended him to several friends and coworkers. I highly value honesty and good service, this place delivered both above my expectations. Mike is the best around. He senses where the pain is originating from and treats not just pain but the source! Accupuncture, heat, sonar, combined with the manipulation really gets the job done .
I have been to several chiropractors however he has more depth and understand if the human body than others!

I don’t know what I would do without Dr. Lee. One of the BEST bedside manners I l have ever encountered. I have been going to Dr. Lee for over 10 years and he always makes me feel better. The best part is my schedule is always changing so I can always call last minute and if there is an opening they will fit me right in. Need massage? Grace Marie is a little Dynamite! amazing and healing deep tissue in a pint sized person. extensive body/​muscle knowledge. between these two they keep me going…

This is the most relaxing office I’ve ever been to. I have a lot of back problems and I always feel better when I leave this place. Dr. Lee always makes time to see me and is so nice and patient with all of my questions. I really feel like he knows what he’s doing =) I’ve also seen Shakeh (acupuncturist) several times, and I believe she truly saved my life once when I had a horrible painful muscle spasm in my back/​side. She is amazing and very knowledgeable, and did I mention she saved my life? =) Very friendly staff and relaxing music playing all the time. An overall very pleasant place to get treated.

I went to see Mike Yanagita on the recommendation of a colleague.
I had been having shoulder pain for about a month and kept putting off addressing the problem. A previous chiropractor wanted to put me on the four-​days-​a-​week ATM plan…
Mike is very analytical and pragmatic and said he felt that we would be able to take care of the problem pretty quickly. My first visit provided about 50% relief and the same proportion of relief on my two subsequent visits. Rather than viewing a person in pain as a financial boon, it seemed as though he was interested in getting me better as quickly as possible.
He uses a combination of chiro and acupuncture. Very pleasant and effective.

I have been going to Eric for close to 12 years. I have seen him for low back pain, neck pain, even elbow injury. Eric is the best. He is a non alarmist and true healer. I have gone to Eric very stressed out and concerned that my body was abandoning me only to be reassured by Eric that all would soon be well. And sure enough after a few visits I’m back in fighting shape. Best chiro– in my opinion if you need one.
