Très Jolie Nails & Spa

I really want to like this place… I am visiting family so the girls and I decided to go have our nails done for fun. The nail technicians were incredibly sweet but they don’t seemed to be trained or know what they are doing. I requested a shellac manicure (something I get done every 2 – 3 weeks where I live) and the service itself took over an hour… When she was removing the previous shellac she kept filing the skin right above my cuticle to the point my skin is raw I had to continuously tell her she was hurting me and she still did not let up. She also applied acetone to my raw skin which was pretty painful! That part was completely avoidable if she were a little more careful while filing! Then she sloppily and SLOWLY painted my nails (and surrounding skin) she was so slow another tech took over and rushed through the paint job. Basically she tried her best to «fix» the other techs imperfections by painting over them so the shellac is too thick and pooled around my cuticles. I feel like if you are going to charge clients for a service you should at least be properly trained. If you don’t know what you are doing DONT DO IT!!! I honestly have no clue why this place has such a high rating. Oregon needs to step up their nail game

Such a cute place. Took my 2.5 year old there today for my bday to get pedicures. I didn’t know it but they have kid pedicure chairs that look like a cat and a bunny. Adorable! I will post pics. The staff was all super nice and helpful and great with my daughter. They did an awesome job on my gel pedicure as well and have tons of gel colors to choose from. This will become a tradition for my daughter and I!

The staff did a really great job. I have my manicure done after a long time with the mood change color and I really love it. They also provide the drink when they do your nail. I also love the peaceful atmosphere here. I highly recommend this salon to others.

Good service, poor product. I decided to try the gel manicure bc it’s supposed to last for a couple weeks, but I’ve had it less than 24 hours and they are already coming off… my toes have faired even worse with my toenail peeling off last night which was only 4 hours after being painted. Super disappointed!!!

There are some nail techs there who are better than others. My friends get lucky with it: I never really do. My actual complaint is that because I don’t want polish but I like my nails to look as good as possible, I like to get a buff and shine. My nails have never been shiny when I I’m all done. Other than that the gal who always ends up doing my pedicures does a great job: I just wish she would do the buff and shine because I always ask for it.

I loved the work they did! I got a pink tone matte shellac. And the girl who worked on my nails made sure that every single nail was perfect. She also worked fast, I didn’t have to sit around waiting for her at all. I will definitely be going back!

What a great and peaceful place to spend quality time at. The staff is extremely knowledgable, professional, and kind. I would totally recommend them to anyone.

I wanted to like this nail salon so much. They are very nice here but the quality of the work leaves a lot to be desired. I will not be returning. :(

Min did an awesome job! It’s my first acrylic nails and I love it! Went on December 31^st which I thought will be the busiest day ever and took care of me pretty quickly

I used to love this place. It had nice people and new décor with pretty lights and music. It was so relaxing to be there while getting pedicures. Not anymore. They have done a lot of things lately to cheapen the place and ruin the customer atmosphere. First they added an ATM machine and started requiring cash for services over a certain amount. Now you get to stare at the machine, which is in the front of the store, while trying to relax. They also changed the pricing schedule — to charge more for less services. And they hired some new people who aren’t any good. The last time I was there, the new person hurt me several times.
It’s no longer a place I want to be… they have lost a long-​time customer. I don’t recommend going there as they used to care about the customer experience, and now only care about making money.

My absolute favorite nail salon bar none. I have been coming to Tres Jolie for almost a year now and no other salon can compare and trust me I have tried them all! Everyone at Tres Jolie is fabulous but my daughter and I try to get in with Anne and Vivian who wonderful, kind and attentive. They have an excellent selection of gel polish and are great with designs. A gel mani is $ 25 and although walk ins are welcome I would call in advance if you can just to make sure they aren’t to busy and if they are there is a Starbucks and Sesame donuts right next door :)

The pedicure was ok, I paid for the $ 25 pedicure and did not receive all the treatments included such as callus removal etc.

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review because INITIALLY I was pretty happy.
I had come in with a couple of my girlfriends for a nail date. One of which is a long time customer (who as of now will also NEVER be returning)!
I had them put on a full set of nails, which took hours for all three of us because they DON’T have anybody except for one person that can actually put on fake nails. So we had to sit one at a time to get our set on, then got handed off to another person to finish the paint. So much for making an appointment all together! Whatever, after they apologized for the appointment taking 3 hours, and no that’s not exaggerated, we all left with beautiful sets.
The new set lasted pretty well, I went about three weeks before I made my fill appointment. When I came in, the guy said no problem and filled my nails. He however did NOT file my real nails underneath the gel, and just glued the grown out nails to the bottom of the false ones.
Big surprise, my real nails (within a few days) separated from the false ones and started lifting from the front of my nails. Immediately I called because I didn’t pay $ 35 for a FILL (most salons cost $ 35 FOR A FULL SET) for it to last less then a week.
When I came in to have my nails fixed since they hadn’t been properly filled the first time, this is when I decided I wouldn’t EVER come back even if it were free. The man who had previously helped me began on my nail and said «this is your fault because of how you treat them. They’re clearly old and they need a new set!» HMM I HAVE ONLY GOTTEN ONE FILL AND NOW INCLUDING THE TIME SINCE THEYVE BEEN FILLED, TOTALS 4 WEEKS! I said oh wow, well, they’re about a month old entirely, and if they were so old, it’s YOUR JOB as the nail expert to say, «these are old and I recommend replacing your set» But no, of course this wasn’t when I had gone in for my fill because it wasn’t actually the case. He then loudly tries to make me look stupid in front of a salon full of people by telling me that I have been in for 3 FILLS and that’s why they weren’t staying on.
Now here’s the fun part. I JUST moved to Oregon for San Francisco — I HAVEN’T been here long enough in this state to have even made 4 or 5 appointments.
My advice — DONT waste your time or money here. Rude and incompetent people — would’ve saved a customer if they had just stopped worrying about their profits and ACTUALLY did the job right. Would have come back if they had just fixed what they did’t do right the first time.
It’s cheaper to get a full set every two weeks anywhere else and they’d actually last the 2 weeks — food for thought.

Recently, and rather out of the blue, I discovered that I would be attending a wedding and since I don’t get my nails done too often, I felt like this would be the perfect excuse, not to mention how close it is to my apartment!
I went with a few girls from work and I arranged it all a couple days before via email with the salon and it all went very smoothly on that front, which I really appreciated. Day of, we all found our experience at Très Jolie to be top notch, from the color selection to the manicures themselves and we felt positively pampered by the time we left. It’s probably the best manicure I’ve had in the area.
Just some things to note before you go, which I didn’t realize as a first-​timer: Bring your own «nail kit» or they’ll have you purchase your own for hygienic reasons (which you might actually want to do, as it comes in its own really nice zip case that you can use again and again) and don’t forget cash for tips!

Such a great find! I was tired of the over-​priced salons in Downtown and knew the suburbs would be bound to have top-​notch work, without having to pay an arm and a leg. Needless to say, I found it! An express pedicure for $ 15, and a hot stone pedi for $ 35? I thought my eyes had deceived me.
I called to make an appointment for me and my roommate, and we were seated right away. While I regret not getting the name of my nail tech, she was incredible! She was so friendly and we had some great conversations while she gave me what was quite possibly the best massage I’ve ever had at a salon.
The staff as a whole were friendly, courteous, and even closed the front door when we mentioned smelling smoke.
While I only had a pedicure, my roommate also had a shellac manicure and loved it. While its outside of downtown, it was such an incredible find!
Amazing staff, great salon, huge color selection (both regular and gel), and a beautiful salon– it’s well worth the drive, and we’ll definitely be back!

I love this place, especially Ann and Minh! They are really personable and attentive. They give high quality mani and pedis, never rushed and give the best massages. I bring all my friends and family here and they’ve all loved it as well! Thank you Tres Jolie!

I’ve been here many times, and every time has been wonderful. Excellent service and they always do great work. I love the ambiance here, always relaxing and super clean. Plus the massage chairs are the best. A great deal and so very worth it.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff were really nice and professional, great at their jobs. I had made an appointment and still had to wait a few minutes so I would highly recommend making an appointment regardless. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and they ended up being pretty busy.
One thing to note is that their building is connected with a daycare. If you go on a weekday, be prepared to hear the occasional screaming or crying child. I didn’t mind, in fact, it was kind of comical. But if this is something that would disturb your experience, I would go on the weekend. Other than that, it’s a very relaxing environment with nice lighting, music and they offer you drinks.
They charge you for a nail file and buffer but they do send you home with it and you can bring it back in the future for them to use. It was only $ 1 so I didn’t mind and actually like that they use a new one on you and then you have the option to bring it back instead of paying the future. I’d never been to a nail salon that did this but I can understand why.
Overall, this will probably be my new nail place. My pedicure was delightful and my shellac manicure was impeccable. The gentleman was clearly very diligent and wanted it to be perfect, even asking me how many coats I’d like.
I’ll be back!

Last week I had the best pedicure of my life here. The environment was so peaceful I jut sat back and enjoyed, didn’t even mess around on my phone or feel the need to read. I just relaxed. The leg and foot massage went on forever, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world! I decided to add on the hot stone massage too and my legs/​feet thanked me greatly for that. Highly, highly recommended.
The place itself is in a nondescript location, suburbs, strip of businesses (donuts, starbucks, vet), nothing that would point out that Heaven awaits you inside. However, once you step inside it’s peaceful, clean, nice (enough) looking, and the pedi chairs do full massage, not just the vibrating thing that I find more irritating than relaxing.
I’d recommend reservations, though they do take walk-​ins. Last week I was a walk in and had to wait 20 – 30 minutes, which was fine with me. Don’t be in a hurry if you don’t make a reservation, they’ll get to you when they can. Today I made a reservation and had no problem getting one 45 minutes away.
Overall you really can’t go wrong here. I appreciate that they offer so many levels of pedis (and manis, but not as many) at different prices. Sometimes you want full pampering, sometimes you just want some pretty looking toes. You can also add on extra massage per minute. Not bad.

Never will go back my pedi was get had 3 different people come to file for my mani which turned out to have none of my natural nail left and totally filed my sides completely gone I ended up leaving unfinished unhappy and paid full price as asked for the file kit they didn’t give me and removal of my mani shellac now I have to either deal with what’s left or go somewhere to get a full set!

Why I say «No» to this place:
1) didn’t keep the appointment we made (3:30 and ended up waiting until 4 PM)
2) asked everyone else if they wanted refreshments EXCEPT for my mother.
3) couldn’t file the nails right — they were always crooked and had to be pointed out almost every minute
4) booked us for 1 mani/​pedi (for my mom) and 1 french nail (for me) when it was french nail and pedi (for mom) and french nail (for me).
5) made my mom wait an entire 1 hour and 30 minutes doing absolutely nothing.
6) no genuine apology was given to my mother during her wait
7) on the phone i asked them if the french was 33 dollars (twice!!) — they said yes. Then, I was charged 45 instead after everything was done.
8) They specifically knew it was a late Mother’s day gift and they completely ruined it. They wasted my mother’s time and mine.
I ended up dropping my mom off and returning to the nail salon because I was absolutely mortified and embarrassed about Tres Jolie’s customer service. The guy kept giving me excuse after excuse and one thing that really irked me was, «Oh, sometimes the workers are tired so they forget to do things…» What is that supposed to mean??? That is the most unprofessional thing to say! Yes, mistakes happen but you guys just forgot to give good customer service to only my mom? Also, don’t tell your customers you’ll give them a 15 dollar gift card when they state multiple times they do NOT want to return.
P.S: MY NAIL IS ALREADY CHIPPING. And when I showed him, all he said was «I spent so much time on your nail.» Yes, because that’s your job and this is a nail salon. I am just so done with the excuses. Très jolie? More like très mal.

First time in & I’m in love! My nails look amazing! My pedicure was relaxing & my toes look cute!
I also love that they gave me advice on what to do with my nails for what’s the best for healthy nails in the future! I will be going back!
I never felt rushed even though they were there 30 minutes passed closing doing my nails!

Ann is a genius. Heartbroken that I moved so far away and don’t get services as often as I’d like anymore but it’s worth the drive when I have an event or special occasion and want my nails to be perfect.
Best nail salon I’ve ever been to, hands down.

I love coming here… They give the best massage!!! Very relaxing atmosphere, and they’re great at nail art. They’ve been doing my mani/​pedis for over a year, and they’re always professional and courteous.
