Bull Mountain Heating, AC & Insulation is the HVAC Company that Jack Hansen started seven years ago after he was co-​owner of Heat Pumps Incorporated in the early 1970’s and after working for Lennox Industries for thirty-​one years. He was Lennox’s Field Technical Consultant and was involved in the development of several Lennox’s products.

Jack believes his 45 plus years of experience, knowledge and his eye for detail enables him to offer customers an all around benefit to their homes or commercial buildings. Controls and zoning for heat or air conditioning systems can benefit customers by allowing better air flow. He truly believes that to help customers save money, it must be done with honesty and fair pricing and he exercises this belief in his daily routine. Rude customer service. They get mad at you if you don’t book an appointment right when you call. If you wont be home how can you make that appointment?

Not much to say about this company other than they have bad customer service. I had shoddy work done on my furnace and instead of sending another technician out to fix it they just said that they’ll make sure it doesn’t happen to the next customer. That still doesn’t fix my problem! I’ll be going elsewhere for my future needs.

We had initially bought a groupon for some ac maintenance with this company. Before we could even use it our ac unit ran into an issue. We figured why not just have them come out to take a look. Plus they were one of the most inexpensive quotes that we had received to do this. The appointment was a week out, but we understood due to the heat and how busy they must have been. On appointment day, Wendel came out to take a look. Very curtious, took time to explain things to me. Overall, a great job, very reasonable prices. We will for sure be using them from now on. Thanks Bull Mountain!

I had Bull Mountain come out to quote the install work on Mitsubishi Split AC/​Heat pump on my home. The person doing the estimation needed to measure the windows as part of the calculation to determine what AC unit to install. They should have come prepared with a tape measure but fortunately I had one to lend so I just took this as a sign of being ill-​prepared.
I got the quote from them and it was missing a lot of the details (like work items required to perform the installation) that I had discussed with the person who created the quote. Since they were wanting me to sign this quote which would have in essence formed the contract, I informed them that I was not confortable with signing such a vague contract. I also did not like the fact that they did not itemize any of the line items in the contract, they presented one dollar figure.
I think the most unprofessional part of their «proposal» is they display the final dollar amount as «Final Investment». Really, they think my AC system will appreciate in value like a Bond or a true investment? I think I know where the Bull is here and it is not on the mountain!

We were put in contact with Bull Mountain through Clean Energy Works Oregon’s energy upgrade program. They were great!
Kurt was our contractor, he was friendly and professional in all of his communications with us. He patiently explained our options and the processes involved with making our home more energy efficient.
The work was completed on schedule and and very professionally. Our home was certainly warmer this winter and we are looking forward to it being more comfortable in the summer as well. I especially liked coming home to a clean house, I couldn’t even tell they had been there! Much nicer than other contracting work we’ve had where the workers left a big mess for me to clean up.
I was so pleased with Bull Mountain’s work that I have contacted them to work on another project we have in mind. I will continue to go to them for any of our contracting needs.

We’re looking forward to our new, fully insulated house and a fancy Lennox furnace (96% Energy Star efficient). Big props to this local family owned business for busting their butts in just three days.
The Bull Mountain team hooked up our 1922 Cape Cod bungalow. It’s finally going to be a warm winter and cool summer. I really liked how everyone was crazy professional, relaxed, and passionate for their work. I appreciate everyone answering my curious questions and shared enthusiasm for a very challenging project. Bull Mountain is a rare breed of hard working and detailed professionals. Adding the extra duct to our boy’s room was huge! We are so stoked to not have to run a space heater all night during the cold months. Nor will we have to run AC units much in the summer. Big money savings right there.
I’ll post an updated later on our home’s efficiency rating by we’re looking at at 40% increase in performance.

I wish I would have called them earlier when I ran into an issue with our A/​C. I went through multiple contractors/​vendor to look for a new A/​C to replace a supposedly faulty one. They came in & offered to fix the issue to save me $ before going through the replacement.
Short to say, they found the issue & fixed it saving me $$$$ !
I would say that the technician assigned to my issue was very thorough in root causing the issue & recommending & implementing a fix.
They now have me as a customer for life & if anyone would ask me, I would highly recommend their services.
