Tiburon Wellness Center

I have been going to Tiburon Wellness Center for acute sciatica pain and it has been helping tremendously! Finally I have found relief from paralyzing pain and I have Dr Alicia Pflueger to thank for that. She genuinely listens and her adjustments have allowed me to live a normal life once again. I highly recommend her! TWC has an inviting and peaceful atmosphere and is very well located downtown Tiburon.

She listens carefully to what is occurring in your body and is very intuitive with her approach. I highly recommend her.

I have been treated by TWC and team for almost 20 years. Regular adjustments and massages have been such a treat. I have called on a weekend in an emergency and have been able to get relief the same day. Getting massages from Louis is beyond amazing! He has a deep tissue style but knows just how far to go. Dr. Lori and Dr. Alicia have taken such good care of my family. I remember Dr. Lori checking my babies spines before they could walk!
TWC has a peaceful atmosphere and is well appointed. My favorite thing to do is get an adjustment and/​or massage and go to lunch and shop on main street just a couple of blocks away.

I spent 3 hours answering a lengthy medical survey for Dr. Madda prior to my ¹¹⁄₂ hour intial consultation with him. During this initial visit (which I paid almost $ 200.00 for) he was to busy to give me his undivided attention. Our session was disrupted countless times because he was attempting to service several patients simultaneously. I felt cheated out of my time, money and a service I was promised. Also, he «recommended» a slew of pricey natural products that didn’t work. I won’t go back. And I want my money back!

I’ve been going to the Tiburon Wellness Center for just over six months. I originally went in for some skin treatment, and I met with Dr. Robert Madda. Our first meeting we had an in depth meeting where Robert thoroughly questioned me about my life. What started as a treatment for skin turned into a brand new world of overall, superior wellness. Since our first meeting I have been back six times, each for acupuncture, and check-​ins as my process. My skin has never looked better, and I have felt better than I have in my entire life. Robert is deep, brilliant and friendly Dr. who radiates positive energy.
Go see him for a bad back, bad skin, headaches, depression, anxiety, whatever! I guarantee that if you follow his regiments he’ll have you in the best shape you’ve ever been in, ever!
Do yourself a favor and set an appointment there now.

The occupational hazard to being a registered nurse, is our backs. Mine needed immediate attention. I got immediate relief from TIBURON WELLNESS CENTER. So. We will call TIBURON WELLNESS CENTER’S Chiropractic help, the «EMERGENCY ROOM» for bad backs.
YIKES! I had such a hard time getting in ANYWHERE [previously, positively Unilocaled online] for a date on THURSDAY… !! All the 4 and 5 STAR chiropractors were booked, not working, or started their day sometime after 2 pm. NOT HELPFUL !! TWC, was available. I was grateful.
Though it is a farther drive from HWY 101, into the Tiburon Penninsula, a back out of wack and the PAIN I suffered made the drive worth it.
[ Also worthy, are the handy pain pills my regular doctor prescribed to me… but those pills did not adjust my back].
These folks are gentle, thorough and ~ a big plus~ do NOT «crack» «pop» nor «wrestle with your body» into some strangle– sumo wrester– maneuver to adjust your misaligned spine. They use a click-​type device, and an exam table, which gently moves your joints as directed.
Evidently TWC has a full range of homeopathic/​herbal treatments~ which I was very happy NOT to be «sold» on, since simply, my back was severely in trouble. Nothing more irritating than an enthusiastic sales person during an emergency visit.
When I asked for «bailing wire or duct tape» to immobilze my unstable back, they offered me the next best thing; a soft stablizing belt. Note to self: I (personally) ASKED for something to help, they did not try to up-​SELL me anything more.

What is worth the extra STAR?
Dividers, or a curtain, placed between the waiting room doorway, and the treatment area. Everyone’s clothes are on, so modesty is not the issue: the Issue would be Privacy.
Additionally, a sign in the windows of doors, where many people might arrive (their sign hangs on the second story of a building facing the main thoroughfare). We need help being re-​directed to the back side of the suite for entry. It was a little confusing.
Conclusion: I am a fan. Emergency help, immediate relief !
