I’ve had 3 good experiences at the Gold Store over the past few months. Very successful watch repair (2 watches), and also got a great deal on a simple new ring. Personal attention, and smart staff who know their stuff. Very satisfied.

Saw their ad on TV. Have a ring that needed to be enlaged. Figured I would need to leave it. The owner came out, fitted it, and enlarged it in a few minutes. I am blown away by the excellent work, service and friendliness. I highly recommend this establishment.

Went to purchace some silver bullion coins and they said they had some. THE MARK UP WAS $ 7 OVER MARKET PRICE. Uh i was born at night but not last night. Cmon don’t make your monthly quota on me, not cool ladies oh and it was cash only. You give precious metal dealers a bad name oh thats right your a jewelry store, no excuse.

Thieves and liars. If you are not extremely knowledgeable on precious metals and stones then do not even bother with this place, especially if you are selling to them. Of course there is the need for profit margins, that is business. Read about intrinsic and extrinsic values and ALWAYS look up spot price of metals and understand the purity of the metal you have prior to entering this place. You are better off not coming here though. I dealt with a snooty foreign woman who brought her attitude all the way from Armenia to Thousand Oaks. Really the only reason my perception of this place is so bad is because of the ignorance and absence of professionalism I felt from this woman. I own my own successful business and have ran multi million dollar companies in the past. Good business creates return business and customer service creates good business. Sorry boys and girls the gold shop folks do not play well with others.

The Gold Store in Thousand Oaks is a great Jewelry store to buy jewelry or have broken jewelry fixed. I have been going there for years and all the crew, Al, Bob and the ladies could not be nicer or more helpful.
They charge very reasonable prices to fix my gold bracelets, rings and more. When they have a sale, rush there.
Their price on diamonds were better than downtown which saved me when my son-​in-​law was buying his engagement ring.

I just ran into the Gold Store at 5pm and they were closed, but were so kind to open their doors for me. I sold my gold there and Al and all his «family» that works there were incredible. If you need to sell gold, fix gold or get original pieces done The Gold Store is the only place to go. Thanks Al and everyone there!!!

Great experience cashing in some gold yesterday. Looks like a family business. The woman was very friendly. Fair price. Didnt have to wait long. I cant ask for more. Ill come back for sure.

I always come back to the Gold Store on T. O. Blvd: family owned, local business. This location has been where I’ve bought jewelry since 1980! Lovely estate jewelry for sale here too. For no charge, has tightened loose diamonds in the ring I bought in 2009 (with no proof of purchase requested). I like this family and their customer service. Be nice and niceness comes your way.

These guys are absolutely incredible. THE BEST possible experience if you need to unload gold, silver, jewelry, anything at all — they will take a look at it. And give you a very fair price. The great thing about The Gold Store that separates them from all the other gold places is this: they treat everyone the same whether they walk through the door with $ 5 worth of sterling or $ 5,000 worth of gold. Seriously. No attitude, fair prices, simply the best for their industry. GO SEE AL AT THE GOLD STORE!

I totally trust and respect all of the employees, management and owner of The Gold Store. I recently had my wedding ring that I have worn for nearly 24 years re-​designed. I was a little skeptical at first, but was assured that I would love the new design, and if I wasn’t 100% satisfied, I could have the ring re-​done to my specifications.
Needless to say, I absolutely love the ring, and have received many compliments! I would not hesitate to refer any of my friends and family to The Gold Store.

The gold store i will admit is a little pricy at first, the but once i became a better customer, the deals became better. Bias? Maybe, but in the end they seem more like real people than other gold dealers. Professional people. I stared dealing with Fereshteh, she is really cool.

I went to The Gold Store to have 2 custom diamond rings custom made. I spent a lot of time with them, telling them exactly what I wanted. The customer service was outstanding. Their jeweler, Al, did a sensation job with both rings, making both rings exactly as discussed. During the process, he would e-​mail me with updates, including pictures to make sure everything was done exactly how I wanted it. I could not be happier with the final result. Everyone there was great to me. I also thought the price was completely reasonable as I had gone to several other jewelers and received higher bids. Most important is the fact that they are trustworthy which means a lot. I will definitely be back, thank you Bob and Al.

I don’t know what the deal is with Kendal K. but based on her review we tried CV Stamp & Coin first this time to sell our gold. I was disappointed with the amount they offered so we continued on to the good old reliable Gold Store … sure enough they offered me quite a bit more. My son got his fiancé’s engagement ring there and they will both get their wedding bands there… and I got a new engagement ring to replace my older one. Couldn’t be happier. Go the The Gold Store!

First heard of The Gold Store through a commercial on TV. The staff here is very friendly, honest, and helpful. If you are a first-​time gold seller, just as I was, this is the place for you to go.
I’ve come here several times to sell gold and have always been offered a very fair price each time I’ve come in. They are helpful in answering any questions you may have, and even encourage you to take your gold to other jewelers to see how much you can get elsewhere.
TIP: To know you are getting a good price, always check the spot price of gold on the day you are going in to sell (
). The price quoted there is the going rate of gold on that particular day. You will find just as I have, that The Gold Store gives you pretty close to what the current spot price is, which is rare amongst places that buy gold.
Don’t hesitate to bring your gold here. The transactions are quick and easy, and you’ll be walking out with a nice check for your old jewelry.

Wish I could give this a minus star because trust me they are a total rip off. Check reviews on yahoo yellow pages. I went in to sell an oz of gold and at the time it was at 900 they said it’s worth 400 because it wasn’t pure gold… lame they probably thought I would buy that because I’m young and probably gullible. I left and took it to coin and stamp in westlake off of townsgate and they sold it to me for the «real» price of 900. As for the other two reviews they might have gotten a low price, but is it truly good quality stuff that they bought probably not!!! How would they know really? Go to coin and stamp they have been in business for a long time, super friendly, and honest. Always people in there and been to them several times… they are ligit:)

If you are selling gold, this is the BEST place to do it. A few months ago I had a couple of pieces to sell. I went to 9 different jewelry stores to see where I would get the best price. I was offered anywhere from $ 25 (at a place in the mall) to over $ 200 at The Gold Store. Needless to say, I sold my pieces at The Gold Store. They treat you like you are family. I have been back a few times since to sell odds and ends and they make me feel welcome each and every single time. Go on Thursday, Friday or Saturday and ask for Bob. Tell him I sent you…*s*
