History

Established in 2014.

The Dawn Walters Music Academy (formally Musicians Boulevard) has been on Thousand Oaks Boulevard for over 20 years. Dawn Walters officially took over this convenient location and beautiful studio in April of 2014. When the owner of Musicians Boulevard went to retire, Dawn quickly took over the studios where she has taught for over a decade. Along with the other long time private music lesson teachers. We continue to have a brass and woodwind repair shop attached and rentals for cello, viola, violin.

Dawn Walters has been teaching in Southern California for 19 years. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a double major from the Boston Conservatory of Music.

Dawn’s clients come from all over the County. Her clients have worked on The Disney Channel, Hollywood Record Label, Nickelodeon, ABC Family, Broadway, American Idol Top 100, National Tours, Dodgers, Lakers and Kings Games National Anthem Regulars, The Roxy, Feature Films and National Commercials and thousands of Regional and Community Theater Productions. She has students accepted into top Music Theater Programs around the Country and the USC Popular Music Program.
