Rob discovered the world of fine watches while doing his MBA internship at Dresdner Bank in San Francisco in 1999. Before graduating from business school the following year, he already knew that watches were his calling, and not the career in the mutual fund industry from which he came.

Starting as a collector and an avid participant in the emerging online watch scene, Rob built a diverse collection of watches while learning the online and traditional watch businesses. In addition to starting watch retail and wholesale businesses in Spain, where he resided at the time, Rob also became involved with several online watch related projects. Rob has also written articles for the recent editions of Wristwatch Annual, and has himself been widely interviewed by the watch press as well as major market media.

In 2005, after a half decade long business relationship with Robert Maron, Rob joined our company as Sales and Marketing manager, and oversees the online aspects of Robert Maron Inc.
