Nirvana Day Spa

I have Unilocaled Nivana Day Spa before as a regular customer, but felt an update was well deserved. Recently, I brought my young adult daughter and was so pleased to see they specifically picked a young female masseuse for her. While I was getting my own massage, which is always amazing, i didn’t worry about my daughter. I knew she was in good hands and safe. The owner continued to check in on her and happy to recommend them again! Best in the Conejo Valley!

Best massage of my life. Better than any burke williams or any other high end place. I won’t give the name of the person i got, but this was the best first experience ever. Being a hairdresser, my back has tons of knots, and I’m always in so much pain. The person i got today knew exactly what to do. i specifically asked for my shoulders and back only which was not a problem. I am so happy right now, i can’t wait to come back. They gained a new regular today. Thank you!

I have been going to Nirvana for over four years now. I am impressed with the calming décor, the welcoming atmosphere, and the talent of the massage therapists. I no longer ask for one particular therapist, because they are all good. This is a very loving and healing environment. Recently, when leaving, I accidentally dropped and lost a gold bracelet my deceased mother had given me when I was only 13 years old. They found it and returned it to me. Another time, when I was clearly stressed out, Yan gave me a small cross as a keepsake. They are kind and trustworthy. I have studied alternative medicine for thirty years and I am difficult to please. They deserve their high ranking.

My wife and I have been satisfied customers for several years now because no other spa has been able to consistently provide the level of quality services we receive at Nirvana Day Spa. We’ve tried other spas, however, we keep coming back to Nirvana because of their high standards and unparalleled customer service! And the price is right too! Our thanks and gratitude to all of the wonderful service professionals at Nirvana!

Last night we had a visit to Nirvana spa!
First of all they were very accommodating.
We came in last minute and they gave us a private room.
Very comfortable and clean.
My daughter and I had a full massage.
Then to top it off she had a facial massage.
It was a wonderful experience.
We will be back!

I have been a customer for over five years. And I keep coming back even though I’ve moved to another city because Nirvana is so superior to the competition and worth the drive. If you want to know how successful they are all you have to do is walk through the door. They are always busy. This is because the many masseuses who work there do a Fantastic job! $ 20 plus tip for what amounts to be a complete body massage is the best deal EVER! Here are two good bits of advice that you should remember: Tell your masseuse if you have any areas on your back, shoulders, neck or feet you would like them to concentrate on and they will take extra care to work over your problem area. Also, be direct as to how soft or firm you want your message to be. Follow these two bits of advice and I can 100% guarantee you will be satisfied and join the ranks as a returning customer. There are many choices to make in regards to a foot massage in the Conejo Valley, but you need to look no further than Nirvana because they set the standard for excellence! «IT IS THE BEST STRESS RELIEF SERVICE MONEY CAN BUY!

Customer service– Bahh!!!
What in the world has happened to the state of customer service, cordial owners, and those who genuinely desire your business? I went to check out Nirvana Day Spa today based on Unilocal’ good reviews. I walked in, and was met by possible owner/​manager who was non-​verbally trying to ask me, I think– if I had a cell phone?
I whispered– I am not here for an appointment, I would like to get information about your spa. She flippantly waived me to a very dark seating area, and walked off, leaving me standing there like a fish out of water. I got the feeling that she was very flustered and upset by my entering her establishment. I waited a few minutes and then left. As I was walking to my car, I heard a voice yelling at me– I could not hear what she was saying; however it was the same women beckoning me back to the spa. I replied that I would check out their services on their website. She actually through up her hands, in a VERY DISMISSIVE MANNER and stormed back into Spa.
In her attempt to come and find me, I guess she realized that she blew it. Well– she did! Now I ask you– Would you go back?

Beautiful atmosphere, kind and wonderful staff, crazy intense massage. Whenever we get a chance to leave the kids with the grandparents, my wife and I do date-​night-​massage. We always leave feeling either relaxed and satisfied or worked and loose. That’s the best part of this place… you get really great massages. I would suggest learning who you like most and asking for them when you call. Otherwise you may get a very different massage because there is a lot of diversity within this place. I personally like to roll the dice and am always really grateful for whichever massage I receive. Thank you, Nirvana!

Great end to a Saturday night! This is by far the best Chinese foot massage place I’ve been to! Great massage, nice and very clean interior. I had Anna which was awesome and my husband got a full body from another lady and he thought she was amazing too.

I go at least once a week. The Spa is clean and well managed by Yen the owner. There is consistency in massages, so it matters not who you get, of course you’ll have some favs! Add a special pleasure and get a facial. They use Shisedo products so always refreshing. A great overall place for body and soul!

Really needed a massage before taking the GRE and had a very mediocre experience at massage envy.
These people mean business! As soon as I got there I was immediately greeted and situated. Emma was very good at addressing my personal preferences and was very thorough! Minimal conversation but she made sure that I was comfortable.
Personally, I tipped 25% because the massage was very low price and the professionalism was outstanding!
Definitely go here for a massage!

Review for the infrared sauna 5 stars. A+. Did it seem clean? Yes. Did it work? Absolutely. Were the facilities clean and inviting? Yes. Will I come back? Absolutely.
Ps. On a more personal note, it reminded me of Mayasaki’s Spirited Away bath house, for spirits to replenish themselves. I certainly did some major replenishing.
I had a 30 minute massage that I’ll comment on but not review. It did not suit my style at no fault to the massage person: 30 minutes just isn’t enough for my needs. And I discovered that Thai massage does nothing for me, and especially not in 30 minutes. I’ll try a full hour deep tissue next time.

Julie has magic hands! I hurt my back the other day, so I went here to get massage. I didn’t expect any miracles, but surprisingly my back did feel much better. so relaxed and comfortable. it is my favorite massage place now. 5 stars at least!

I have been coming here for quite awhile usually I come with a friend I have also been here with my husband as well. I love this place they are super friendly, clean and very good at what they do! My usual is 75 min. Full body massage. It’s so relaxing here. I love the tranquil music and how professional they are. I have had soft to über firm massages here depending what I want that day…
They do offer extras like inferred and essential oils you can add. It’s clearly the best massage place and the prices are amazing! I highly recommend… if your trying to find some down time or a stress reducer or just a place to unplug you might want to add this to your list!!!

My boyfriend and I got out first couples massage here they did a wonderful job! I felt very relaxed. The place was very tranquil and peaceful. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own oil, they charge you ten dollars extra for oil that doesn’t even smell nice. Other then that it was a great experience!

Nirvana has become one of my favorite massage places to go to in the Thousand Oaks area. Love the interior style of furnishings and soft ambience music. Very good and consistent massages with pleasant men and women who work there — not to mention well trained in their techniques. They have a pretty wide menu of different types of services (see photo) so best to figure out what you want first and call ahead to book.
My only complaint here is that they don’t have a sign in system so you can easily hear discussions about selection of, and paying for services — rather disruptive while getting a service close by. If they had a sign in sheet, you could write down what you want, your desired pressure and also let them know if you have any problem areas or have any specialized requests plus have no confusion on the cost. Otherwise, love this place!

Awesome everything. Service was nice and fast. It was dark with nice music from the time I walked in the door to the time I left. The massage was great. I got the 60 mins for $ 40. What a deal.
The only thing keeping me from a 5-​star review was the table I was on. The face-​hole was pretty covered with towels and disposable paper, which is good, but it crept underneath around my nose and made it a little difficult to breath. To adjust I had to stick my chin in the hole a little bit, and when the pressure from the massage began on my upper back, a lot of the weight ended up on pushing my neck into the table almost choking me a bit. It took some adjusting, and I never got it quite right. Without my chin in the hole, the weight was all transferred to my chin being pushed into the edge of the hole. I don’t know if it’s just me or if anyone else has had this problem, but with a better face-​pillow or table set-​up I’d give it 5-​stars.

This place is absolutely amazing! I have found myself addicted to this place and come here nearly twice a month.
It’s the standard massage shop where they have foot massage but also they have full body and even a sauna.
I have had 2 different types of massages and both are amazing.
The first was the full body and I honestly seriously recommend it. It’s $ 40 and worth every penny. You get a private room. If you’re shy I wouldn’t recommend it since they do stretch you sometimes which I love.
I’ve also had their foot massage and it’s great. I would recommend the hour long since 30 minutes just isn’t enough for me personally. It obviously includes back, shoulders, arms neck and face along with the amazing foot massage.
It’s very quiet and half the time I hear people lightly snoring it’s so relaxing!

Visited for the 3^rd time last week.
I’ve had 1 day off in 3.5 weeks… so my back is in knots.
Brought my friend Sophia who just finished her career as a student at USC… so we both needed some TLC.
As usual… they were able to squeeze us in same day.
I don’t know how it’s possible, but my experience at Nirvana Spa just gets better and better.
I’m not a massage maven by any stretch… but the massage I received last week maybe the best massage I’ve ever had.
How this tiny woman can be so strong, so firm, and so effective… for 120 minutes… is a medical mystery.
Both of us walked out… refreshed, relieved and content.
The owner is just… a doll.
She is a wonderful small business Owner, and I WANT to contribute to her success.
Several couples were there on Friday for a massage, so the word’s gotten out about just how special Nirvana Spa is.
I just hope it doesn’t affect my chance to get a same-​day appointment in the future :)

The massages here are consistently great. I have had massages with both male and female masseuses. I was nervous about having a male masseuse, but he was professional and never made me feel uncomfortable at any point. This is a great place to go for a massage. I highly recommend it!
