Janie and jack in the oaks mall is the same like every other store in general.
but the ladys working there are both nice and professional

My wife, son (1 ½ years old) and I came to the store recently to buy an outfit for our son to wear in Easter portraits. Tara was the employee helping us at the time. My son is dipping into the «Terrible 2s» a bit early and is moving all the time and touching EVERYTHING. Tara was not only actively helping us find an outfit, but also entertaining our son, giving him things to play with and generally being a great employee and awesome person. Tara, if you are reading this, thank you for doing such awesome work. If Tara’s boss is reading this, you better do all you can to hang on to her. Lastly, all you other people reading this, ask for Tara when you go to Janie and Jack at the Oaks Mall. She makes the store shine.

Well, I don’t agree with the first review. This place is definitely expensive but that’s what you get when you walk into this store, but the clothes are so cute!!!
One associate (not sure of her name) had dark hair, she immediately went into the back and disappeared but the other associate we were delightfully encountered with was exceptional. Her name is Tara (short hair and glasses) she was very sweet and I loved her customer service. She admitted that she was new to Janie & Jack but the way she described the clothing being like «adult clothing but shrunk» is so true! And she had a great attitude, that makes me want to shop there more often!
I bought the cutest little shorts for my daughter, I can’t wait to go back and buy more! Not to mention their vintage looking swimsuits for girls are ADORABLE!

If you’ve ever shopped at Jack and Janie you know they have adorable clothes, especially for little boys in my opinion, but is pricey for children’s clothing. Today I went in and found the cutest little blazer for my son but couldn’t find a plain white shirt to go under it in his size. When I saw a sales person I said, «I’m looking for something to go under this jacket.» She replied,“Everything we have is out.” What terrible customer service and I think she was the manager! I just left but couldn’t get my mind off that little jacket that would look so great in family photos, so I went to Baby Gap, got a shirt and went back for the ($ 80!) blazer. The second time I went in the most adorable and sweet young girl rang me up and the experience was great. I think her boss could learn something from that girl.
