Gymboree

This place is a hit or a miss. They have great sales if you know when and how to shop there. Their staff, however, has really gone down hill lately. They’ve always been somewhat snotty but at least, in the past, they were very willing and eager to help. Now, they just act bothered that you’re in the store, especially if they sense that you’re shopping the sales. The last few times I was there it took several minutes before someone acknowledged my presence in their empty store. One time the sales person didn’t even acknowledge me at all. However, not all of the employees are impolite– a few of them (mostly the managers) are very helpful and courteous.
I’ll keep shopping here despite the help because the clothes are cute, great quality and they have great sales.

This location is a high-​volume store so they carry styles that other stores don’t.

I would say the store itself gets 3 Stars. It’s just OK. Sometimes you can get pretty amazing deals if you go at the right time like when there is a new line coming out or seasonally. The first markdowns aren’t fabulous, it’s when the item has been marked down the second or third time that you can really get a great deal. There clothes are adorable. I have paid full price also because they have such darling things for my little girl who’s 9 months. The service in my opinion is excellent IF you shop when Karine is working. Otherwise I think the service is way below average. I
would give Karine 5 stars. She’s so helpful, and really works hard to answer any questions. She’s quick on the register also and doesn’t make any mistakes. We just shopped there on Saturday 7÷17÷10 and she was there by herself and she had things running beautifully. The clothes themselves are great quality. I’ve never had any issues regarding clothing defects or damages. Cute cute cute clothes! Wonderful service from Karine.
