I have been coming to Conejo Auto Detail and Window Tinting for 10+ years to get the windows on my car tinted. They always do a great job and I am always left satisfied. Their prices are great and their installation job is even better. You know if Rusnak BMW, Porsche and Audi are regular customers you should be too! I came here based off the recommendation from a family member who lives in Moorpark and whos tint looked good and the fact that overall they had good ratings on Unilocal.I am not local to Thousand Oaks but wanted to have the car done before my drive home. I had them do my BMW X5 with both the side windows and the front windshield. Note that I am from Nevada and my vehicle is registered in Nevada and the level of tint which I got is perfectly legal in NV.
The cost to do those 3 items was $ 450 with a $ 10 discount for paying with cash. The side windows look good. I had an issue with the front windshield but their customer service stepped up and is taking care of it which is a BIG PLUS.

I received 3 quotes from auto body shops. One from a shop in Oxnard that wrote up a quote and added 12 extra hours of labor and over $ 1,000 in extra parts because they thought my insurance would pay. The total quote was $ 2,400
2nd I went just down the street from Conejo Auto Detail and they were $ 2,000 but very professional. They also told me that they weren’t 100% sure they could get it perfect.
Conejo Auto Detail quoted me under $ 1,000 so I went with them. Finished in under 3 days and I couldn’t be happier. It turned out perfect.

I brought my brand new 2015 Toyota Camry XSE in to this establishment and Requested tint for all 5 windows.
I received tint, a scratch on my drivers side and sticky residue on my fender. It has been 3+ months and I still cannot seem to remove the residue and it is going to cost me $ 100 to fix the scratch.
If you do chose to use their services, I suggest you check for any damages before you leave their lot.

If you ever have any issues with the work they have done, the have you bring it in and fix it free of charge on the spot. I will always be a returning customer.

I’ve been doing business with this place for a very long time. I have had 4 of my cars done here in the past few years. Every time they did a phenomenal job. Johnny is a very professional and attentive individual. The tint was always good quality and did it in a fashionable time frame. I also a couple of years ago had my Lexus re done at their body shop and he did a great job. Some guy backed a tow hitch into my front bumper. They found me parts and they took it and within a few days it was done. Tries very hard to make it work with you and one of the few places that also do a good job. I recommended all of my friends to go here and so far no complaints from any of them. Johnny has always been very accommodating and customer service is prompt. Good Job and keep it up.

I went to a different shop yesterday and the had my car allday 9am-5:00 and the lagged on getting my tint done so I had to just pick it up with no tint such a waste. So I called Conejo tint got me in this morning being I was leaving for a road trip and wanted my windows tinted. They fit me in right away with a Great price and great time. Very Quick and easy.

I had to post and say what a great place this is! Guys were super nice, did a phenomenal job and got me in and out of there quickly. They also fixed a couple scratches with touch up paint just because they wanted too.

UPDATE: I took my car back 4 days after installation to complain about the bubbles and scratches. Tint was re-​applied same day and car was detailed before pick up. I am upgrading my rating to 3 out of 5 stars.
There are two things you need to know:
Subpar customer service. Subpar workmanship.
The young lady who makes appointments up front is friendly and the appointment was made with ease. I decided to call the same day of my appointment to see if I can get an earlier appointment, was answered gruffly with a «NO!» and and was hung up on. Okay, fine. Perhaps they were busy. Once I brought the car in, I was told the appointment would take 2 hours. 3 hours later, I hadn’t heard anything so I call back and there’s no answer for 15 minutes. I finally received a call back saying my car is ready.
I get the car back and we notice several bubbles and imperfections. I take it back the next day and am told rather nastily that bubbles are expected the first few days. No one told me that when I picked up the car. I will be returning tomorrow because as expected, the bubbles and scratches are still there. I have a feeling I will not be received very well. I also noticed a window trim piece was broken off and a used rag that I assume was utilized for application was left in the back of my car.
The one pro to this location? The price is reasonable. It’s insanely cheap, in fact. But perhaps you truly do get what you pay for.

Took my ES350 for tint n detail few months ago, and love it. Great peeps great price great work. Today I took my new 2015 Ghibli for tint and once again they did a great job. I ran into my friends when I was waiting there, turned out hes been taking his cars here too. I will take my next tint n detailing here again.

Window Tint Review:
So I found this place on Unilocal and decided to check it out. The customer service was good. The front office made it easy in deciding what tint to pick and the price seemed reasonable.
The tint installation itself was good. My biggest issue with this place was their cleanup job. They left a big mess in my brand new car. My back seat had scrap pieces and other debris laying around. My windows were completely dirty and had a bunch of streaks. And I was a little upset to see liquid streaks all over doors, dash, and even touchscreen display.
I gave 2 stars because I feel the cleanup job should be just as important as the job itself. Especially on a brand new vehicle.

Upon entering this business your greeted and taken care of right away. The waiting room is very nice. The staff here is also very respectful and professional.

Every time I go here the job is done right. The tint is quality 3M. They do a very good clean job. Also the prices are unbeatable for the quality.
The owners name of this place is Johnny and I believe he also is in partnership with his brother. Both are good people.
Overall this is a 5 star establishment. All the local dealers include Rusnak of westlake use them. With that said its proof that their quality is top notch.
I would highly recommend this place if you need tint, detailing or body work. They do take their time so I do recommend just dropping the car off. Don’t let that bother you. The more time they spend the better the quality and attention to detail.
