Bubbas serves up delicious seafood with great side items. I had the shrimp and oyster combo with spinach casserole and carrot soufflé. Every bite was delicious. The menu was so full of delicious sounding dishes I will have to return. I liked it so much I bought a t-shirt to remember them by.

The crawfish had a nasty taste and smell. Not seasoned at all. We ate one and tossed the rest.

eating lunch here right now, food is average. I had one of the lunch specials, hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. stand in line order yourself then they call your number and u go get it, which is fine. portions are average on the small side even. served on disposable Styrofoam plates, plastic forks. costs me $ 15 for lunch with a fountain drink. the fountain drink alone is $ 2.25, which is ridiculously expensive. should be 99 cents tops. for $ 15 bucks I could’ve eaten a lot better anywhere else. sushi lunch, Ryan’s, Chinese buffet, etc etc. unless your company pays for lunch, this place isn’t worth the money.

This restaurant has great seafood and friendly service The seafood gumbo and shrimp étouffée are excellent. I was happy to put the first New Hampshire pin on their map of the USA. Thanks!

When in Rome… Eat like the locals! This was a very good restaurant. Very family oriented where you order your food at the counter and then they call your #. They are known for boiled seafood and crawfish looked great, but we did not do the boiled thing. I had the deluxe shrimp platter for $ 15.95. It was good and seasoned right. My friend had the #1 shrimp and fish platter. The coleslaw is pre made and inedible and the green beans were from a can with a bit of bacon grease added(also bad but edible) the fish was NOT catfish and seemed farm raised. But in all the whole atmosphere was good and the food good. Beer, wine, are available. Good range of choices. Great people working here! I recommend this as a place to visit while down far south! Louisiana has so much to see and do while eating your way through north to south and west to east!

Real Homegrown, Down south, good Olé comfort food cooking!!! My first experience here being from California but my family from the area advised I go there for a late night«Po Boy» sandwich run. The place a hodgepodge of southern relics, vintage baseball theme rooms, bayou Cajun and Mardi Gras décor! Its marvelous! Haha I order a few Shrimp Po boys and decided last minute to throw in a cup of Sausage Gumbo and a mini Pecan Pie tart. I’ve had the glory of a po boy once before so I knew what to expect. The shrimp was crispy and plentiful while the bun was soft and all sandwiches I order were made«dressed», meaning lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo are included. However, when I order the side dish of Gumbo I was pleasantly surprised!!! It was honestly some Of the best Gumbo I’ve ever had!!! Deep rich color to the sauce and nice warm flavor. They includes rice too! Last but not least, my Pecan Tart!!! Oooooo Myyyyy GOD! :) Fantastic! I ended up heating the little tart up in the microwave for 15 seconds(toasted over will work too). It was buttery, rich and the perfect size! Best finish to an already full belly! This Louisiana vacation is gonna kill my Healthy California way but WHATEVER! I’m on VaCaTiOn!!! Yay!!! Happy Mardi Gras everyone

I ordered the number three which came with fried shrimp and shrimp étouffée for 15.95. The shrimp were popcorn shrimp with more breading than shrimp and the étouffée was bland and colorless with the same little frozen popcorn shrimp. I was completely underwhelmed. A «Meh» rating is being generous. But to be fair, the biscuit was pretty awesome.

This place is part of my must-eat places when I go home to visit and I was happy to take my San Francisco-native sister-in-law there recently. As others say, no frills, but really good food. I love the stuffed crab! Great lunch specials.

A great local place with great local food. Bubbas has all the seafood and barbeque you could want. The menu is expansive, but the food is not expensive. The place is nothing to look at and the food does not win any presentation awards, but if it is good down-home food and reasonable prices, Bubbas is right for you.

What a wonderful experience! Great value meal, too! The hospitality was inviting. Lots of locals coming in the door saying«hi» to the folks. We ordered the Seafood Gumbo, Etoufee and shrimp po boy. Loved it all! Everything was seasoned beautifully. They knew we wanted to try all the local foods so they came to the table later with a Jambalaya and carrot side dish. Both were wonderful. Topped it all off with a local Dixie beer. Couldn’t have been happier. This is why we are visiting Louisiana! Good food and good people!

I grew up in Thibodaux but moved away. Now, every time I come back for a visit, I have to come here at least once. Twice is better. I always get the half shrimp, half catfish poboy(overstuffed) with some sweet potato fries. But they have lots of other good south LA cooking that is definitely worthwhile. They also have boiled crawfish nights for when you feel like having some but not are not up to boiling them yourself. I am not sure anyone has better poboys. Definitely not outside Louisiana. I could really eat here for lunch and dinner every day and be happy.
