Horrible experience with this company… our contact with this company was Derek. When he first came to the house to inspect the property, he gave us an estimate if 4500 – 5000 dollars for removing grass and replacing with sod as well as some stonework (patio and firepit). We were very excited with the price and wanted them to start right away, but he told us that a guy had to come and do measurements and finalize with my wife what her preferences were. Unfortunately we had to wait a week because we had also referred my brother and they wanted to do it the same day. Finally the guy came and we were excited for the final estimate even if it was a little more than the initial. to my surprise the prize doubled to 10 000 dollars and of course my wife complained but to no avail. I just dont get why you would give out an estimate with that much of a difference. Luckily we have people that are doing the same thing for 6k and have seen their work first hand. I wouldnt have been pissed off about this if they didnt make us wait a week to give us an overpriced final estimate thats totally different from the initial!!!

You get what you pay for, I like to say!
We recently did substantial work to our property. I did research on contractors around the area that serviced our home and reached out to numerous companies. Only Tony responded promptly and immediately. The others either did not bother or responded too late.
Tony reviewed our scope and provided immediate response. We met and reviewed the work and how he was going to execute it on our property. Not only was he thorough, he took his time to answer any questions we had and showed us how he was going to accomplish the work. There are times where he would visit on Sundays to make sure the work was being done properly. Kudos to that.
He treated our home with with meticulous care (which you rarely find with contractors). We are now enjoying the work he did, and highly recommend him to anyone who asks who did our work.

I just had landscaping work, and design done by Tony Decarlo on our house, and we have been highly satisfied by the level of professionalism and the outstanding results of his work. His employees are the most professional and knowledgable, they completed the work on time and delivered above and beyond our expectations.
We had a new lawn and several trees 20ft + planted in our backyard, the trees specimens are amazing, healthy, full, his design input and improved the look of our yard beyond our imagination, and our lawn has never looked this good, the work was done on time and on estimate despite the fact that estimated work needed more effort than expected, I highly reccomended Decarlo landscaping for a super quality work, outsatnding results, and follow through support even after the work is done.

Professional, reliable, honest and wonderful staff. Tony and his crew cleaned up the front of my home, removed overgrown plants and half dead trees, designed a new walkway and re-​landscaped the property according to my requests.
I also was struggling with water in my basement and he completely waterproofed the basement from the outside. I had waterproofing companies come and give me ridiculous estimates and no real solution — since Decarlo did the work, I haven’t had any more water in my basement.
I highly recommend Decarlo landscaping. They are now going to clean up the property to maintain the beautiful plantings and keep my home looking pretty, warm and welcoming.

The owner and the staff were responsive. The office was organized and cleaned — illustrating the good management style of paying attention to details. Their price was above average among the bids that I got — and they were shortlisted to the final two. Our job was a small one less $ 10k and they did not seem to be hungry. I found them not that helpful with questions /​education during the bidding process.
I believe they can do a really good quality and professional job but not sure if I want to be a small customer of theirs and get no attention after I pay them.
