Owner/​Operator, Richard Maldonado, has worked in the plumbing industry for over 13 years. Before he opened his own company, he worked for two large companies out of San Luis Obispo. Working for these companies allowed Richard to see that he wanted to offer more in the way of customer service and satisfaction, so when he opened his own company in 2008, this was his number one priority. We had a hot water heater fail and make a huge mess in our garage. Richard did a great job explaining the different options for replacement over the phone, taking a long time to answer my numerous questions. I got a good vibe from his patience and willingness to allay my concerns before I became a paying customer, so I ended up going with him.
Richard showed up on time, and got the job done right the first time. He’s a really friendly guy, and also insisted that he sweep up after himself even though I told him that it was no big deal seeing we are in the midst of ongoing construction. Given the great service that he provides, he is now our go-​to plumber.

I had a hot water heater fail recently and though I was able to remove and replace it with a new one. I needed a professional plumber to replace the old recirculating pump and correctly plumb it in.
Richard provided me with alternative solutions and when I made my selection,
Accomplished the job very timely and a competitive price.
While performing the original scope of work. Richard identified and suggested repairs for safety hazards in the heater installation.
He also has HVAC expertise. I highly recommend him for your project!

I cannot say enough good things about Richard with Available Plumbing. I have a rental property in Paso Robles, CA and Richard has come to my rescue on more than one occasion. Most recently, we had a gas leak and The Gas Company turned off our service. Richard scheduled me in for the very next day. He repaired leaks (plural!), crawled under the house, and then replaced all the gas lines for my 74 year old house. And in record time, really.
I am so grateful to Richard. He works harder and moves faster than any other contractor I’ve hired. He communicates clearly about what the problems are, his plan to fix them, and how much its going to cost.
He is just crazy good.
